³³ The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

²⁶ And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men surrounded David and his men to take them. ²⁷ But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste you, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land. ²⁸ Therefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Selahammahlekoth.

⁷ I will be glad and rejoice in your mercy: for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities; ⁸ And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: you have set my feet in a wide place.

³¹ For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

⁶ Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth. ⁷ Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

³³ Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies. ³⁴ Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

¹⁷ However the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
