¹ [A Psalm of David.] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not lack. ² He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. ³ He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. ⁴ Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. ⁵ You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. ⁶ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

⁹ O fear the LORD, you his saints: for there is no lack to them that fear him. ¹⁰ The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

⁵² But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

¹³ So we your people and sheep of your pasture will give you thanks forever: we will show forth your praise to all generations.

¹¹ For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

¹¹ He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

³ And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. ⁴ And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, says the LORD.

¹⁰ Hear the word of the LORD, O you nations, and declare it in the coastlands afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.

¹¹ For thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search for my sheep, and seek them out. ¹² As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered on a cloudy and dark day.

²³ And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. ²⁴ And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

² But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

⁴ And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

³³ But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

³⁰ For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knows that you have need of these things. ³¹ But rather seek you the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. ³² Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

¹¹ I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.

¹⁴ I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: ²⁸ And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. ³⁰ I and my Father are one.

³² He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

¹⁹ But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

⁵ Let your conduct be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. ⁶ So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

²⁵ For you were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

⁴ And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.

¹⁷ For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

²⁹ When he gives quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hides his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

⁴ There is a river, the streams of which shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the most High.

⁶ Because this people refused the waters of Shiloah that flow softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son;

²³ Then shall he give the rain for your seed, that you shall sow the ground with; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be rich and plentiful: in that day shall your cattle feed in large pastures.

⁹ That you may say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. ¹⁰ They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he that has mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

¹³ And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. ¹⁴ I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a rich pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

⁶ And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely.

¹ And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

³⁰ To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of life.

⁸ Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before my face.

⁷ The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

³ For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name's sake lead me, and guide me.

³ O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

¹² Restore unto me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with a free spirit.

⁹ Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for your name's sake.

⁴ Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause your anger toward us to cease. ⁵ Will you be angry with us forever? will you draw out your anger to all generations? ⁶ Will you not revive us again: that your people may rejoice in you? ⁷ Show us your mercy, O LORD, and grant us your salvation.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

¹⁷⁶ I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I do not forget your commandments.

⁸ Cause me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning; for in you do I trust: cause me to know the way in which I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto you. ⁹ Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies: I flee unto you to hide me. ¹⁰ Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

¹¹ I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths.

²⁰ I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice:

¹⁶ And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

⁸ Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the ends of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travails with child together: a great company shall return there.

³⁷ Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, where I have driven them in my anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: ³⁸ And they shall be my people, and I will be their God: ³⁹ And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: ⁴⁰ And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. ⁴¹ Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul. ⁴² For thus says the LORD; As I have brought all this great disaster upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

¹⁴ But I acted for my name’s sake, that it should not be polluted before the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.

⁴ I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for my anger has turned away from him. ⁵ I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. ⁶ His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his fragrance as Lebanon. ⁷ They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the grain, and grow as the vine: their scent shall be as the wine of Lebanon. ⁸ Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green cypress tree. In me is your fruit found. ⁹ Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall stumble in them.

⁸ Rejoice not against me, O my enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. ⁹ I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause, and executes justice for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

¹⁸ Who is a God like unto you, who pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retains not his anger forever, because he delights in mercy. ¹⁹ He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: ³² But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not: and when you have returned, strengthen your brethren.

⁶ To the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he has made us accepted in the beloved.

¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

⁵ Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

²¹ Before I go where I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death; ²² A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.

¹⁷ For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one recognizes them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.

⁶ I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

⁵ There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

¹ [A Psalm of David.] The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ² When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. ³ Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. ⁴ One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.

¹⁹ Though you have severely broken us in the place of jackals, and covered us with the shadow of death.

¹ [To the Chief Musician for the sons of Korah. A song upon alamoth.] God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ² Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; ³ Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

¹¹ The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

² The LORD shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion: rule you in the midst of your enemies.

⁶ The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

⁷ Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me: you shall stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand shall save me.

⁹ Be shattered, O you people, you shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all you from far countries: gird yourselves, and you shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and you shall be broken in pieces. ¹⁰ Take counsel together, and it shall come to nothing; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

¹⁰ Fear not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

¹ But now thus says the LORD that created you, O Jacob, and he that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine. ² When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame scorch you.

⁶ Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?

¹⁴ Feed your people with your staff, the flock of your heritage, who dwell alone in the forest, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

²³ Thus says the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold, out of every language of the nations, even shall take hold of the robe of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

¹⁰ And I took my staff, even Grace, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.

¹⁴ Then I cut asunder my other staff, even Unity, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

²³ Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

⁷⁹ To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

⁹ Then spoke the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not your peace: ¹⁰ For I am with you, and no man shall set on you to hurt you: for I have many people in this city.

⁵⁵ O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? ⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. ⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

²² The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.

¹⁶ Even so would he have removed you out of the distress into a broad place, where there is no restraint; and that which should be set on your table should be full of richness.

⁵ The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: you maintain my lot.

²⁶ The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live forever.

²⁹ All the prosperous of earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

¹⁹ Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for them that fear you; which you have wrought for them that trust in you before the sons of men! ²⁰ You shall hide them in the secret of your presence from the pride of man: you shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

⁷ You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

¹⁹ Yea, they spoke against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?

¹⁰ But my horn shall you exalt like the horn of a wild ox: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹⁵ And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.

¹³ I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

⁶ And on this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of rich things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

⁶ That drink wine in bowls, and anoint yourselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

¹⁷ But you, when you fast, anoint your head, and wash your face;

⁴⁶ My head with oil you did not anoint: but this woman has anointed my feet with ointment.

⁵³ Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you have no life in you. ⁵⁴ Whosoever eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. ⁵⁵ For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. ⁵⁶ He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him.

⁹ I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. ¹⁰ The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

²² And you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man takes from you.

¹⁶ The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

²¹ Now he who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God;

²⁰ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

²⁰ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

²⁷ But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in him.

¹¹ You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

¹⁵ As for me, I will behold your face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with your likeness.

⁴ He asked life of you, and you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.

⁴ One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.

¹¹ You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: you have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; ¹² To the end that my glory may sing praise to you, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto you forever.

⁷ How excellent is your lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings. ⁸ They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fullness of your house; and you shall make them drink of the river of your pleasures. ⁹ For with you is the fountain of life: in your light shall we see light. ¹⁰ O continue your lovingkindness unto them that know you; and your righteousness to the upright in heart.

²⁴ You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. ²⁵ Whom have I in heaven but you? and there is none upon earth that I desire besides you. ²⁶ My flesh and my heart fails: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

¹⁷ But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

¹⁰ Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

¹ For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

²³ For I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

¹⁸ And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
