⁴ And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:

²¹ So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, near the entrance of Hamath.

²⁶ And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.

¹ Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.

⁸ Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see the land.

³⁶ And they set out from Eziongeber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh. ³⁷ And they set out from Kadesh, and encamped at mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

³ Then your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the border of Edom, and your south border shall be to the edge of the salt sea on the east:

³ And it went out to the south side to Maalehakrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side of Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Addar, and turned about to Karka: ⁴ From there it passed toward Azmon, and went out by the river of Egypt; and the border ended at the sea: this shall be your south boundary.

³⁶ And the border of the Amorites was from the ascent of Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward.
