²¹ And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there: the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

¹⁹ In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, till you return unto the ground; for out of it were you taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return.

² And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?

⁵ Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here: for God did send me before you to preserve life.

Selah. ⁴⁹ Lord, where are your former lovingkindnesses, which you swore unto David in your truth? ⁵⁰ Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people; ⁵¹ With which your enemies have reproached, O LORD; with which they have reproached the footsteps of your anointed. ⁵² Blessed be the LORD forevermore. ¹⁵ As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing from his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.

¹⁹ Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to accept his lot, and to rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.

⁷ Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

¹⁵ Therefore glorify the LORD in the east, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.

²⁴ Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.

⁷ I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create calamity: I the LORD do all these things.

³⁸ Out of the mouth of the most High proceeds not evil and good?

⁶ Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be calamity in a city, and the LORD has not done it?

¹⁵ Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with my own? Is your eye evil, because I am good?

²⁸ To do whatsoever your hand and your counsel determined before to be done.

²⁰ Giving thanks always for all things unto God, even the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

¹⁸ In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

⁷ For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
