¹⁹ All my close friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved have turned against me.

¹⁴ To him that is afflicted pity should be shown from his friend; even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. ¹⁵ My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and as the stream of brooks that pass away;

¹¹ My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

⁹ Yea, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who did eat of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
