⁶ Then the woman came and told her husband, saying: 'A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of the angel of God, very terrible; and I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name;

³³ (5:13) And he spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall; he spoke also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

¹² (92:13) The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹⁴ O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.'

⁴ (7:5) Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes as the pools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bath-rabbim; thy nose is like the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.

⁷ (14:8) They that dwell under his shadow shall again make corn to grow, and shall blossom as the vine; the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

¹⁷ For how great is their goodness, and how great is their beauty! Corn shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the maids.

² and he was transfigured before them, and his face did shine as the sun, and his garments became white as the light.

³ His appearance was as lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

²⁸ Thou madest known unto me the ways of life, Thou shalt make me full of gladness with thy countenance.

¹⁶ And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness, God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

¹⁵ and his feet like unto burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace, and his voice as the voice of many waters. ¹⁶ And he had in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword; and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
