⁸ (75:9) For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, with foaming wine, full of mixture, and He poureth out of the same; surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.

²⁰ Let his own eyes see his destruction, and let him drink of the wrath of the Almighty.

⁶ Upon the wicked He will cause to rain coals; fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.

³ (60:5) Thou hast made Thy people to see hard things; Thou hast made us to drink the wine of staggering.

¹⁰ Therefore His people return hither; and waters of fullness are drained out by them.

³⁰ They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to try mixed wine.

²² Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink;

¹⁵ For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto me: Take this cup of the wine of fury at My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

¹⁷ Then took I the cup of the LORD'S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:

²⁷ And thou shalt say unto them: Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink ye, and be drunken, and spew, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you. ²⁸ And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thy hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them: Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Ye shall surely drink.

⁹ And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worshippeth the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand, ¹⁰ he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

¹⁹ And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell; and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
