²⁸ (18:29) For Thou dost light my lamp; the LORD my God doth lighten my darkness.

²⁹ For Thou art my lamp, O LORD; and the LORD doth lighten my darkness.

³⁶ And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David My servant may have a lamp alway before Me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen Me to put My name there.

⁴ Nevertheless for David's sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem;

⁶ The light shall be dark in his tent, and his lamp over him shall be put out.

³ When His lamp shined above my head, and by His light I walked through darkness;

⁴ Unto the upright He shineth as a light in the darkness, gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

¹⁷ There will I make a horn to shoot up unto David, there have I ordered a lamp for Mine anointed.

²⁷ The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the inward parts.

⁹ But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
