¹⁰ To Him that smote Egypt in their first-born, for His mercy endureth for ever;

⁵ and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of cattle. ⁶ And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there hath been none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

¹² For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the LORD.

²⁹ And it came to pass at midnight, that the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the first-born of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the first-born of cattle.

⁵¹ And smote all the first-born in Egypt, the first-fruits of their strength in the tents of Ham;

³⁶ He smote also all the first-born in their land, the first-fruits of all their strength.
