²² Rob not the weak, because he is weak, neither crush the poor in the gate;

⁶ Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.

¹² Because I delivered the poor that cried, the fatherless also, that had none to help him. ¹³ The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me; and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. ¹⁴ I put on righteousness, and it clothed itself with me; my justice was as a robe and a diadem. ¹⁵ I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. ¹⁶ I was a father to the needy; and the cause of him that I knew not I searched out.

¹⁶ If I have withheld aught that the poor desired, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;

²¹ If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, because I saw my help in the gate;

¹⁶ One may oppress the poor, yet will their gain increase; one may give to the rich, yet will want come.

¹⁰ Remove not the ancient landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless; ¹¹ For their Redeemer is strong; He will plead their cause with thee.

²⁹ The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have wronged the poor and needy, and have oppressed the stranger unlawfully.

¹⁰ and oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.

⁵ And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers; and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not Me, saith the LORD of hosts.
