¹⁹ And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless; and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.

¹³ And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

²³ For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

⁹ For whatsoever man there be that curseth his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

¹¹ And the man that lieth with his father's wife - he hath uncovered his father's nakedness - both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

²⁶ But if the manslayer shall at any time go beyond the border of his city of refuge, whither he fleeth; ²⁷ and the avenger of blood find him without the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood slay the manslayer; there shall be no bloodguiltiness for him; ²⁸ because he must remain in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest; but after the death of the high priest the manslayer may return into the land of his possession.

¹⁴ And the men said unto her: 'Our life for yours, if ye tell not this our business; and it shall be, when the LORD giveth us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.'

¹⁶ And David said unto him: 'Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying: I have slain the LORD'S anointed.'

²⁸ And afterward when David heard it, he said: 'I and my kingdom are guiltless before the LORD for ever from the blood of Abner the son of Ner; ²⁹ let it fall upon the head of Joab, and upon all his father's house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that hath an issue, or that is a leper, or that leaneth on a staff, or that falleth by the sword, or that lacketh bread.'

¹¹ How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed, shall I not now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?'

³² And the LORD will return his blood upon his own head, because he fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, and my father David knew it not: Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.

³⁶ And the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him: Build thee a house in Jerusalem, and dwell there, and go not forth thence any whither. ³⁷ For on the day thou goest out, and passest over the brook Kidron, know thou for certain that thou shalt surely die; thy blood shall be upon thine own head.' ³⁸ And Shimei said unto the king: 'The saying is good; as my lord the king hath said, so will thy servant do.' ⁴ then whosoever heareth the sound of the horn, and taketh not warning, if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head; ⁵ he heard the sound of the horn, and took not warning, his blood shall be upon him; whereas if he had taken warning, he would have delivered his soul.

¹⁷ let him that is on the housetop not come down to take out things that are in his house;

²⁴ So when Pilate saw that he prevailed nothing, but rather that a tumult was arising, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this righteous man, see ye to it. ²⁵ And all the people answered and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

⁶ And when they opposed themselves and blasphemed, he shook out his raiment and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads, I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

²⁶ Wherefore I testify unto you this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

³¹ Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

⁹ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

²⁹ of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

²⁷ And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you, but as the same anointing teacheth you, concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye shall abide in him. ²⁸ And now, my little children, abide in him, that, when he shall be manifested, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
