¹² But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name:

⁵ Even unto them will I give in My house and within My walls a monument and a memorial better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting memorial, that shall not be cut off.

¹⁹ But I said: 'How would I put thee among the sons, and give thee a pleasant land, the goodliest heritage of the nations!' And I said: 'Thou shalt call Me, My father; and shalt not turn away from following Me.'

¹⁰ (2:1) Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, instead of that which was said unto them: 'Ye are not My people', it shall be said unto them: 'Ye are the children of the living God.'

⁴⁰ He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

²¹ And in his name shall the Gentiles hope.

⁵ And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me;

⁵² and not for the nation only, but that he might also gather together into one the children of God that are scattered abroad.

³¹ but these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye may have life in his name.

¹⁶ And by faith in his name hath his name made this man strong, whom ye behold and know; yea, the faith which is through him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

¹⁴ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

¹⁷ Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch no unclean thing, And I will receive you, ¹⁸ And will be to you a Father, And ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

²⁶ For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus.

⁶ And because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

⁶ As therefore ye received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,

⁴ whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises, that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust.

¹ Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God. For this cause the world knoweth ye not, because it knew him not.

²³ And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he gave commandment.

¹² He that hath the Son hath the life, he that hath not the Son of God hath not the life. ¹³ These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
