¹⁶ And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not, in paths that they knew not will I lead them; I will make darkness light before them, and rugged places plain. These things will I do, and I will not leave them undone.

⁴ Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure; come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go; for ye have not passed this way heretofore.'

¹⁴ For the LORD will not cast off His people, neither will He forsake His inheritance.

¹⁵ That which is crooked cannot be made straight; and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.

¹³ Consider the work of God; for who can make that straight, which He hath made crooked?

¹⁸ And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of a book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness.

²⁴ They also that err in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmur shall learn instruction.

²¹ And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying: 'This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.'

³ And the eyes of them that see shall not be closed, and the ears of them that hear shall attend.

⁵ Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

⁸ And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those; the wayfaring men, yea fools, shall not err therein.

⁴ Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the rugged shall be made level, and the rough places a plain;

³ He pursueth them, and passeth on safely; the way with his feet he treadeth not.

² I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the doors of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron;

¹⁷ Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD thy God, who teacheth thee for thy profit, who leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

¹³ And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

¹ Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. ² For, behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but upon thee the LORD will arise, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.

¹⁹ The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. ²⁰ Thy sun shall no more go down, Neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

⁸ Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the uttermost parts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together; a great company shall they return hither. ⁹ They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them; I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way wherein they shall not stumble; for I am become a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My first-born.

³⁹ and I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me for ever; for the good of them, and of their children after them; ⁴⁰ and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put My fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me. ⁴¹ Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land in truth with My whole heart and with My whole soul.

²³ and they shall comfort you, when ye see their way and their doings, and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.'

⁶ (2:8) Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and I will make a wall against her, that she shall not find her paths.

¹⁴ (2:16) Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly unto her.

If God is for us, who is against us?

⁸ For ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord; walk as children of light

¹³ But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, for that God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: ¹⁴ whereunto he called you through our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵ Be ye free from the love of money, content with such things as ye have; for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, ⁵ who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
