⁵⁴ And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said: 'Send me away unto my master.'

⁵⁶ And he said unto them: 'Delay me not, seeing the LORD hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master.'

⁵⁹ And they sent away Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abraham's servant, and his men.

⁵ And Isaac sent away Jacob; and he went to Paddan-aram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother. ⁶ Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan-aram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying: 'Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan';

²⁴ So he sent his brethren away, and they departed; and he said unto them: 'See that ye fall not out by the way.'

¹⁹ Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok: 'Let me now run, and bear the king tidings, how that the LORD hath avenged him of his enemies.'

²⁷ And the watchman said: 'I think the running of the foremost is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok.' And the king said: 'He is a good man, and cometh with good tidings.' ²⁸ And Ahimaaz called, and said unto the king: 'All is well.' And he bowed down before the king with his face to the earth, and said: 'Blessed be the LORD thy God, who hath delivered up the men that lifted up their hand against my lord the king.'

²⁹ Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

¹⁰ Say not thou: 'How was it that the former days were better than these?' for it is not out of wisdom that thou inquirest concerning this.

³⁸ But the man from whom the demons were gone out prayed him that he might be with him; but he sent him away, saying, ³⁹ Return to thy house, and declare how great things God hath done for thee. And he went his way, publishing throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done for him.
