⁵ For we through the Spirit by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.

¹⁸ I wait for Thy salvation, O Lord.

³ Yea, none that wait for Thee shall be ashamed; they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause.

⁵ Guide me in Thy truth, and teach me; for Thou art the God of my salvation; for Thee do I wait all the day.

⁵ (62:6) Only for God wait thou in stillness, my soul; for from Him cometh my hope.

⁵ I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.

²⁵ The LORD is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. ²⁶ It is good that a man should quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

⁶ (12:7) Therefore turn thou to thy God; keep mercy and justice, and wait for thy God continually.

⁸ And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment; ⁹ of sin, because they believe not on me, ¹⁰ of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye behold me no more, ¹¹ of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged. ¹² I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. ¹³ Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth; for he shall not speak from himself, but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak; and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come. ¹⁴ He shall glorify me; for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you. ¹⁵ All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine; therefore said I, that he taketh of mine, and shall declare it unto you.

²¹ that, as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

²³ And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for our adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. ²⁴ For in hope were we saved; but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopeth for that which he seeth? ²⁵ But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

¹⁸ for through him we both have our access in one Spirit unto the Father.

⁹ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

¹⁰ and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivereth us from the wrath to come.

⁵ And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

⁸ henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day, and not to me only, but also to all them that have loved his appearing.
