²² (8:18) And I will set apart in that day the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end that thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

¹⁷ thus saith the LORD: In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD - behold, I will smite with the rod that is in my hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

¹⁰ (8:6) And he said: 'Against to-morrow.' And he said: 'Be it according to thy word; that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

⁴ And the LORD shall make a division between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt; and there shall nothing die of all that belongeth to the children of Israel.'

⁶ And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died; but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.

²⁶ Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.

²⁹ And Moses said unto him: 'As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread forth my hands unto the LORD; the thunders shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know that the earth is the LORD'S.

²³ they saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days; but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

⁶ And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there hath been none like it, nor shall be like it any more. ⁷ But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog whet his tongue, against man or beast; that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

¹³ And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

¹² Yet God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

² The rod of Thy strength the LORD will send out of Zion: 'Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.'

¹⁹ Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'

¹⁸ Then shall ye again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not.
