⁷ Be not ye therefore partakers with them,

²⁶ And he spoke unto the congregation, saying: 'Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be swept away in all their sins.'

¹⁸ When thou sawest a thief, thou hadst company with him, and with adulterers was thy portion.

¹⁰ My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. ¹¹ If they say: 'Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood, let us lurk for the innocent without cause; ¹² Let us swallow them up alive as the grave, and whole, as those that go down into the pit; ¹³ We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil; ¹⁴ Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse' - ¹⁵ My son, walk not thou in the way with them, restrain thy foot from their path; ¹⁶ For their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood. ¹⁷ For in vain the net is spread in the eyes of any bird;

⁶ Forsake all thoughtlessness, and live; and walk in the way of understanding.

²⁰ He that walketh with wise men shall be wise; but the companion of fools shall smart for it.

⁶ to wit, that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs, and fellow-members of the body, and fellow-partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,

¹¹ and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them,

²² Lay hands hastily on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins; keep thyself pure.
