⁶ No man shall take the mill or the upper millstone to pledge; for he taketh a man's life to pledge.

³⁰ Now therefore when I come to thy servant my father, and the lad is not with us; seeing that his soul is bound up with the lad's soul;

²⁶ (22:25) If thou at all take thy neighbour's garment to pledge, thou shalt restore it unto him by that the sun goeth down; ²⁷ (22:26) for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin; wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto Me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

¹⁹ When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by wielding an axe against them; for thou mayest eat of them, but thou shalt not cut them down; for is the tree of the field man, that it should be besieged of thee?

¹⁵ And he said unto them, Take heed, and keep yourselves from covetousness; for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

²² And the voice of harpers and minstrels and flute-players and trumpeters shall be heard no more at all in thee, and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft, shall be found any more at all in thee, and the voice of a mill shall be heard no more at all in thee,
