²¹ For no prophecy ever came by the will of man; but holy men of God spake, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

²⁸ And Moses said: 'Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works, and that I have not done them of mine own mind.

¹ And this is the blessing wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

⁶ Then the children of Judah drew nigh unto Joshua in Gilgal; and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said unto him: 'Thou knowest the thing that the LORD spoke unto Moses the man of God concerning me and concerning thee in Kadesh-barnea.

⁷ Then she came and told the man of God. And he said: 'Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy sons of the rest.'

⁹ And she said unto her husband: 'Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, that passeth by us continually.

²² And she called unto her husband, and said: 'Send me, I pray thee, one of the servants, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come back.'

¹⁰ And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of; and he guarded himself there, not once nor twice.

¹⁵ And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, a host with horses and chariots was round about the city. And his servant said unto him: 'Alas, my master! how shall we do?'

¹⁴ But as for Moses the man of God, his sons are named among the tribe of Levi.

⁷ And the seers shall be put to shame, and the diviners confounded; yea, they shall all cover their upper lips; for there shall be no answer of God.

³⁶ For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, The Lord saith unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet.

⁷⁰ (As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets that have been from of old),

¹⁶ Brethren, it was needful that the Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spake before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to them that took Jesus.

¹⁸ But the things which God foreshowed by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.

²⁵ And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Spirit through Isaiah the prophet unto our fathers,

¹⁵ And that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. ¹⁶ Every scripture, inspired of God, is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. ¹⁷ That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

⁷ Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit saith, To-day if ye shall hear his voice,

⁸ the Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the holy place hath not yet been made manifest, while the first tabernacle is yet standing,

¹⁵ And the Holy Spirit also beareth witness to us, for after that he had said before,

¹¹ searching what time or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did point unto, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them.

¹⁰ And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he saith unto me, See thou do it not; I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren that hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
