²⁷ But I know thy sitting down, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy raging against Me.

⁶ Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

¹⁹ Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

⁸ The LORD shall guard thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for ever.

O LORD, Thou hast searched me, and known me. ² Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou understandest my thought afar off. ³ Thou measurest my going about and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. ⁴ For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, Thou knowest it altogether. ⁵ Thou hast hemmed me in behind and before, and laid Thy hand upon me. ⁶ Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; too high, I cannot attain unto it. ⁷ Whither shall I go from Thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from Thy presence? ⁸ If I ascend up into heaven, Thou art there; if I make my bed in the nether-world, behold, Thou art there. ⁹ If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; ¹⁰ Even there would Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand would hold me. ¹¹ And if I say: 'Surely the darkness shall envelop me, and the light about me shall be night';

²⁸ But I know thy sitting down, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy raging against Me. ²⁹ Because of thy raging against Me, and for that thine uproar is come up into Mine ears, therefore will I put My hook in thy nose, and My bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

²³ Am I a God near at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? ²⁴ Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
