² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ; Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

⁶ For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be His own treasure, out of all peoples that are upon the face of the earth.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, and the man of iniquity his thoughts; and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have compassion upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

⁹ And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of My mountains; and Mine elect shall inherit it, and My servants shall dwell there.

²² They shall not build, and another inhabit, they shall not plant, and another eat; for as the days of a tree shall be the days of My people, and Mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

¹⁸ Known from of old unto God are all his works.

³² And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you the inheritance among all them that are sanctified.

⁵ through whom we received grace and apostleship, unto obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake,

⁷ to all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints; Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹³ for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die, but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

²⁹ For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren: ³⁰ and whom he foreordained, them he also called; and whom he called, them he also justified; and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

³³ Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth,

² God did not cast off his people which he foreknew. Or know ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he pleadeth with God against Israel:

⁵ Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. ⁶ But if it is by grace, it is no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it is of works, then is it no more grace; otherwise work is no more work. ⁷ What then? that which Israel seeketh for, that he obtained not, but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened:

²⁸ As touching the gospel, they are enemies for your sake; but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sake.

¹⁶ that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus unto the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

¹⁹ For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I rejoice therefore over you; but I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple unto that which is evil.

³⁰ But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who was made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

¹¹ And such were some of you; but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.

⁵ casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

¹⁴ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen.

⁴ even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love: ⁵ having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

¹² Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering,

¹³ But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, for that God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

¹⁰ Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

¹ Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

⁹ and having been made perfect, he became unto all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation,

¹⁹ For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses unto all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, ²⁰ saying, This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded to you-ward. ²¹ Moreover the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry he sprinkled in like manner with the blood. ²² And according to the law, I may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

²² let us draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience; and having our body washed with pure water,

²⁸ By faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of the blood, that the destroyer of the firstborn should not touch them.

²⁴ and to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better than that of Abel.

²² Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from a pure heart fervently:

⁹ But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

² Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

¹ The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not I only, but also all they that know the truth,

¹³ The children of thine elect sister salute thee. Amen.
