¹² To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven, which things angel desire to look into.

²⁰ And the cherubim shall spread out their wings on high, screening the ark-cover with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the ark-cover shall the faces of the cherubim be.

²³ Turn you at my reproof; behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

² And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. ³ And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears; ⁴ But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the land; and he shall smite the land with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. ⁵ And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. ⁶ And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

¹⁵ Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

³ For I will pour water upon the thirsty land, and streams upon the dry ground; I will pour My spirit upon thy seed, and My blessing upon thine offspring; ⁴ And they shall spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses. ⁵ One shall say: 'I am the LORD'S'; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

¹ 'Who would have believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the LORD been revealed?

¹⁹ Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

²² He revealeth the deep and secret things; He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him.

²⁸ but there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and He hath made known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the end of days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these: ²⁹ as for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter; and He that revealeth secrets hath made known to thee what shall come to pass.

⁴⁷ The king spoke unto Daniel, and said: 'Of a truth it is, that your God is the God of gods, and the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou hast been able to reveal this secret.'

¹³ Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said unto that certain one who spoke: 'How long shall be the vision concerning the continual burnt-offering, and the transgression that causes appalment, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled under foot?'

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sin, and to forgive iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal vision and prophet, and to anoint the most holy place.

¹ In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a word was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the word was true, even a great warfare; and he gave heed to the word, and had understanding of the vision.

⁵ Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on the bank of the river on this side, and the other on the bank of the river on that side. ⁶ And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river: 'How long shall it be to the end of the wonders?'

⁹ And he said: 'Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.

¹³ But go thou thy way till the end be; and thou shalt rest, and shalt stand up to thy lot, at the end of the days.'

²⁸ (3:1) And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions;

⁷ For the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He revealeth His counsel unto His servants the prophets.

¹⁰ And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto Me because they have thrust him through; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.

²⁵ At that season Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes;

²⁷ { All things have been delivered unto me of my Father; and no one knoweth the Son, save the Father, neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him.

¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jonah; for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

¹⁵ And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

²⁶ And it had been revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

⁶ And they departed, and went throughout the villages, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere.

¹⁰ Even so, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

²⁶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me;

⁷ Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you, but if I go, I will send him unto you. ⁸ And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment; ⁹ of sin, because they believe not on me, ¹⁰ of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye behold me no more, ¹¹ of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged. ¹² I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. ¹³ Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth; for he shall not speak from himself, but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak; and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come. ¹⁴ He shall glorify me; for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you. ¹⁵ All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine; therefore said I, that he taketh of mine, and shall declare it unto you.

² And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. ³ And there appeared unto them tongues parting asunder, like as of fire, and it sat upon each one of them. ⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

¹⁷ And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of My Spirit upon all flesh; And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams: ¹⁸ Yea and on My servants and on My handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy.

³³ Being therefore by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye now see and hear.

⁸ Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

³¹ And when they had prayed, the place was shaken wherein they were gathered together, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

²⁵ They therefore, when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

⁴⁴ While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them that heard the word.

¹⁰ And when he had seen the vision, straightway we sought to go forth into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

¹⁵ So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you also that are in Rome.

¹⁷ For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith; as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.

¹⁵ and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ,

¹⁰ But unto us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

²² who also sealed us, and gave us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

⁶ in pureness, in knowledge, in long suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,

¹² For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, straightway I conferred not with flesh and blood:

¹⁰ to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

⁵ how that our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, even as ye know what manner of men we showed ourselves toward you for your sake. ⁶ And ye became imitators of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

⁹ For ye remember, brethren, our labor and travail; working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.

⁴ God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders, and by manifold powers, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will.

² For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they; but the word of hearing did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard.

¹³ These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

³⁹ And these all, having had witness borne to them through their faith, received not the promise, ⁴⁰ God having provided some better thing concerning us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

²⁵ But the word of the Lord abideth for ever. And this is the word of good tidings which was preached unto you.

¹¹ And I saw, and I heard as it were the voice of many angels round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders, and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
