³ but if any man loveth God, the same is known by him.

¹² And Moses said unto the LORD: 'See, Thou sayest unto me: Bring up this people; and Thou hast not let me know whom Thou wilt send with me. Yet Thou hast said: I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in My sight.

¹⁷ And the LORD said unto Moses: 'I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken, for thou hast found grace in My sight, and I know thee by name.'

⁶ For the LORD regardeth the way of the righteous; but the way of the wicked shall perish.

³ Thou hast tried my heart, Thou hast visited it in the night; Thou hast tested me, and Thou findest not that I had a thought which should not pass my mouth.

⁹ but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And which entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him.

⁹ but now that ye have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how turn ye back again to the weak and beggarly rudiments, whereunto ye desire to be in bondage over again?

¹⁹ Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his; and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.

¹² Blessed is the man that endureth temptation, for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love him.

⁵ Hearken, my beloved brethren, did not God choose the poor of the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to them that love him?

⁸ whom not having known ye love, on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

¹⁹ We love him, because he first loved us.

² Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. ³ For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grievous.

⁹ I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty (but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and they art not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

¹³ I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's throne is, and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith in the days wherein Antipas was my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth.

¹⁹ I know thy works, and thy love and faith and ministry and patience, and that thy last works are more than the first.

⁸ I know thy works (behold, I have set before thee a door opened, which none can shut), that thou hast a little power, and didst keep my word, and didst not deny my name. ⁹ Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, of them that say they are Jews, and they are not, but do lie, behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

¹⁵ I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot; I would thou wert cold or hot. ¹⁶ So because thou art lukewarm, and not hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
