9 Now, listen carefully! The cry of the Israelites has come to my attention about how severely the Egyptians have been oppressing them.
15 Pay his wages that same day before the sun sets, because he is poor and his livelihood depends on it. Otherwise, he may cry out to the LORD against you, and you will incur guilt."
5 "Because of the poor are being oppressed, because of the needy are sighing, I will now arise," says the LORD, "I will establish in safety those who yearn for it."
3 You scrutinize my life and my rest; you are familiar with all of my ways.
8 Don't be surprised when you see the poor oppressed and the violent perverting both justice and verdicts in a province, for one high official watches another, and there are ones higher still over them.
34 I have surely seen the oppression of my people in Egypt and have heard their groans, and I have come down to rescue them. Now come, I will send you to Egypt.'
9 Masters, treat your slaves the same way. Do not threaten them, for you know that both of you have the same Master in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.
