11 H5674 ותעברו And ye went over H853 את H3383 הירדן Jordan, H935 ותבאו and came H413 אל unto H3405 יריחו Jericho: H3898 וילחמו fought H1167 בכם בעלי and the men H3405 יריחו of Jericho H567 האמרי against you, the Amorites, H6522 והפרזי and the Perizzites, H3669 והכנעני and the Canaanites, H2850 והחתי and the Hittites, H1622 והגרגשׁי and the Girgashites, H2340 החוי the Hivites, H2983 והיבוסי and the Jebusites; H5414 ואתן and I delivered H853 אותם H3027 בידכם׃ them into your hand.

12 H7971 ואשׁלח And I sent H6440 לפניכם before H853 את H6880 הצרעה the hornet H1644 ותגרשׁ H853 אותם H6440 מפניכם from before H8147 שׁני you, the two H4428 מלכי kings H567 האמרי of the Amorites; H3808 לא not H2719 בחרבך with thy sword, H3808 ולא nor H7198 בקשׁתך׃ with thy bow.

13 H5414 ואתן And I have given H776 לכם ארץ you a land H834 אשׁר for which H3808 לא ye did not H3021 יגעת labor, H5892 בה וערים and cities H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא not, H1129 בניתם ye built H3427 ותשׁבו and ye dwell H3754 בהם כרמים in them; of the vineyards H2132 וזיתים and oliveyards H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא not H5193 נטעתם ye planted H859 אתם do ye H398 אכלים׃ eat.

14 H6258 ועתה Now therefore H3372 יראו fear H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5647 ועבדו and serve H853 אתו H8549 בתמים him in sincerity H571 ובאמת and in truth: H5493 והסירו and put away H853 את H430 אלהים the gods H834 אשׁר which H5647 עבדו served H1 אבותיכם your fathers H5676 בעבר on the other side H5104 הנהר of the flood, H4714 ובמצרים and in Egypt; H5647 ועבדו and serve H853 את H3068 יהוה׃ ye the LORD.

20 H3588 כי If H5800 תעזבו ye forsake H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5647 ועבדתם and serve H430 אלהי gods, H5236 נכר strange H7725 ושׁב then he will turn H7489 והרע and do you hurt, H3615 לכם וכלה and consume H853 אתכם H310 אחרי you, after H834 אשׁר that H3190 היטיב׃ he hath done you good.

21 H559 ויאמר said H5971 העם And the people H413 אל unto H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H3808 לא Nay; H3588 כי but H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD. H5647 נעבד׃ we will serve

22 H559 ויאמר said H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H5707 עדים witnesses H859 אתם Ye H3588 בכם כי against yourselves that H859 אתם ye H977 בחרתם have chosen H853 לכם את H3068 יהוה you the LORD, H5647 לעבד to serve H853 אותו H559 ויאמרו him. 24 H559 ויאמרו said H5971 העם And the people H413 אל unto H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H853 את H3068 יהוה The LORD H430 אלהינו our God H5647 נעבד will we serve, H6963 ובקולו and his voice H8085 נשׁמע׃ will we obey.

26 H3789 ויכתב wrote H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H853 את H1697 הדברים words H428 האלה these H5612 בספר in the book H8451 תורת of the law H430 אלהים of God, H3947 ויקח and took H68 אבן stone, H1419 גדולה a great H6965 ויקימה and set it up H8033 שׁם there H8478 תחת under H427 האלה an oak, H834 אשׁר that H4720 במקדשׁ by the sanctuary H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

27 H559 ויאמר said H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H413 אל unto H3605 כל all H5971 העם the people, H2009 הנה Behold, H68 האבן stone H2063 הזאת this H1961 תהיה shall be H5713 בנו לעדה a witness H3588 כי unto us; for H1931 היא it H8085 שׁמעה hath heard H853 את H3605 כל all H561 אמרי the words H3068 יהוה of the LORD H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר he spoke H5973 עמנו unto H1961 והיתה us: it shall be H5713 בכם לעדה therefore a witness H6435 פן unto you, lest H3584 תכחשׁון ye deny H430 באלהיכם׃ your God.

28 H7971 וישׁלח depart, H3091 יהושׁע So Joshua H853 את H5971 העם let the people H376 אישׁ every man H5159 לנחלתו׃ unto his inheritance.

29 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H310 אחרי after H1697 הדברים things, H428 האלה these H4191 וימת died, H3091 יהושׁע that Joshua H1121 בן the son H5126 נון of Nun, H5650 עבד the servant H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1121 בן H3967 מאה a hundred H6235 ועשׂר and ten H8141 שׁנים׃ years old.

30 H6912 ויקברו And they buried H853 אתו H1366 בגבול him in the border H5159 נחלתו of his inheritance H8556 בתמנת סרח in Timnathserah, H834 אשׁר which H2022 בהר in mount H669 אפרים Ephraim, H6828 מצפון on the north side H2022 להר of the hill H1608 געשׁ׃ of Gaash.

31 H5647 ויעבד served H3478 ישׂראל And Israel H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD H3605 כל all H3117 ימי the days H3091 יהושׁע of Joshua, H3605 וכל and all H3117 ימי the days H2205 הזקנים of the elders H834 אשׁר that H748 האריכו overlived H3117 ימים H310 אחרי H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H834 ואשׁר and which H3045 ידעו had known H853 את H3605 כל all H4639 מעשׂה the works H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה he had done H3478 לישׂראל׃ for Israel.

32 H853 ואת H6106 עצמות And the bones H3130 יוסף of Joseph, H834 אשׁר which H5927 העלו brought up H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H4714 ממצרים H6912 קברו buried H7927 בשׁכם they in Shechem, H2513 בחלקת in a parcel H7704 השׂדה of ground H834 אשׁר which H7069 קנה bought H3290 יעקב Jacob H853 מאת H1121 בני the sons H2544 חמור of Hamor H1 אבי the father H7927 שׁכם H3967 במאה for a hundred H7192 קשׂיטה pieces of silver: H1961 ויהיו and it became H1121 לבני of the children H3130 יוסף of Joseph. H5159 לנחלה׃ the inheritance

33 H499 ואלעזר And Eleazar H1121 בן the son H175 אהרן of Aaron H4191 מת died; H6912 ויקברו and they buried H853 אתו H1389 בגבעת him in a hill H6372 פינחס Phinehas H1121 בנו his son, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן was given H2022 לו בהר him in mount H669 אפרים׃ Ephraim.
