2 H859 אתה Thou H1696 תדבר shalt speak H853 את H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6680 אצוך I command H175 ואהרן thee: and Aaron H251 אחיך thy brother H1696 ידבר shall speak H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H7971 ושׁלח that he send H853 את H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H776 מארצו׃ out of his land.

3 H589 ואני And I H7185 אקשׁה will harden H853 את H3820 לב heart, H6547 פרעה Pharaoh's H7235 והרביתי and multiply H853 את H226 אתתי my signs H853 ואת H4159 מופתי and my wonders H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

4 H3808 ולא shall not H8085 ישׁמע hearken H413 אלכם unto H6547 פרעה But Pharaoh H5414 ונתתי you, that I may lay H853 את H3027 ידי my hand H4714 במצרים upon Egypt, H3318 והוצאתי and bring forth H853 את H6635 צבאתי mine armies, H853 את H5971 עמי my people H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H8201 בשׁפטים judgments. 7 H4872 ומשׁה And Moses H1121 בן old, H8084 שׁמנים fourscore H8141 שׁנה years H175 ואהרן and Aaron H1121 בן old, H7969 שׁלשׁ and three H8084 ושׁמנים fourscore H8141 שׁנה years H1696 בדברם when they spoke H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה׃ Pharaoh.

8 H559 ויאמר spoke H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses H413 ואל and unto H175 אהרן Aaron, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

9 H3588 כי When H1696 ידבר shall speak H413 אלכם unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H559 לאמר you, saying, H5414 תנו Show H4159 לכם מופת a miracle H559 ואמרת for you: then thou shalt say H413 אל unto H175 אהרן Aaron, H3947 קח Take H853 את H4294 מטך thy rod, H7993 והשׁלך and cast H6440 לפני before H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H1961 יהי it shall become H8577 לתנין׃ a serpent.

10 H935 ויבא went in H4872 משׁה And Moses H175 ואהרן and Aaron H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H6213 ויעשׂו and they did H3651 כן so H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה had commanded: H3068 יהוה the LORD H7993 וישׁלך cast down H175 אהרן and Aaron H853 את H4294 מטהו his rod H6440 לפני before H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H6440 ולפני and before H5650 עבדיו his servants, H1961 ויהי and it became H8577 לתנין׃ a serpent.

11 H7121 ויקרא called H1571 גם also H6547 פרעה Then Pharaoh H2450 לחכמים the wise men H3784 ולמכשׁפים and the sorcerers: H6213 ויעשׂו did H1571 גם also H1992 הם they H2748 חרטמי now the magicians H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H3858 בלהטיהם with their enchantments. H3651 כן׃ in like manner

12 H7993 וישׁליכו For they cast down H376 אישׁ every man H4294 מטהו his rod, H1961 ויהיו and they became H8577 לתנינם serpents: H1104 ויבלע swallowed up H4294 מטה rod H175 אהרן but Aaron's H853 את H4294 מטתם׃ their rods.

13 H2388 ויחזק And he hardened H3820 לב heart, H6547 פרעה Pharaoh's H3808 ולא not H8085 שׁמע that he hearkened H413 אלהם unto H834 כאשׁר them; as H1696 דבר had said. H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD

14 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H3515 כבד hardened, H3820 לב heart H6547 פרעה Pharaoh's H3985 מאן he refuseth H7971 לשׁלח go. H5971 העם׃ to let the people

15 H1980 לך Get H413 אל thee unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H1242 בבקר in the morning; H2009 הנה lo, H3318 יצא he goeth out H4325 המימה unto the water; H5324 ונצבת and thou shalt stand H7125 לקראתו against he come; H5921 על by H8193 שׂפת brink H2975 היאר the river's H4294 והמטה and the rod H834 אשׁר which H2015 נהפך was turned H5175 לנחשׁ to a serpent H3947 תקח shalt thou take H3027 בידך׃ in thine hand.

18 H1710 והדגה And the fish H834 אשׁר that H2975 ביאר in the river H4191 תמות shall die, H887 ובאשׁ shall stink; H2975 היאר and the river H3811 ונלאו shall loathe H4713 מצרים H8354 לשׁתות to drink H4325 מים of the water H4480 מן of H2975 היאר׃ the river.

20 H6213 ויעשׂו did H3651 כן so, H4872 משׁה And Moses H175 ואהרן and Aaron H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded; H3068 יהוה the LORD H7311 וירם and he lifted up H4294 במטה the rod, H5221 ויך and smote H853 את H4325 המים the waters H834 אשׁר that H2975 ביאר in the river, H5869 לעיני in the sight H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh, H5869 ולעיני and in the sight H5650 עבדיו of his servants; H2015 ויהפכו were turned H3605 כל and all H4325 המים the waters H834 אשׁר that H2975 ביאר in the river H1818 לדם׃ to blood.

23 H6437 ויפן turned H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H935 ויבא and went H413 אל into H1004 ביתו his house, H3808 ולא neither H7896 שׁת did he set H3820 לבו his heart H1571 גם also. H2063 לזאת׃ to this

24 H2658 ויחפרו digged H3605 כל And all H4713 מצרים H5439 סביבת round about H2975 היאר the river H4325 מים for water H8354 לשׁתות to drink; H3588 כי for H3808 לא not H3201 יכלו they could H8354 לשׁתת drink H4325 ממימי of the water H2975 היאר׃ of the river.

25 H4390 וימלא were fulfilled, H7651 שׁבעת And seven H3117 ימים days H310 אחרי after H5221 הכות had smitten H3068 יהוה that the LORD H853 את H2975 היאר׃ the river.

Exodus 8:1-12:32

3 H8317 ושׁרץ shall bring forth frogs abundantly, H2975 היאר And the river H6854 צפרדעים shall bring forth frogs abundantly, H5927 ועלו which shall go up H935 ובאו and come H1004 בביתך into thine house, H2315 ובחדר and into thy bedchamber, H4904 משׁכבך and into thy bedchamber, H5921 ועל and upon H4296 מטתך thy bed, H1004 ובבית and into the house H5650 עבדיך of thy servants, H5971 ובעמך and upon thy people, H8574 ובתנוריך and into thine ovens, H4863 ובמשׁארותיך׃ and into thy kneading troughs:

4 H5971 ובכה ובעמך both on thee, and upon thy people, H3605 ובכל and upon all H5650 עבדיך thy servants. H5927 יעלו shall come up H6854 הצפרדעים׃ And the frogs

8 H7121 ויקרא called H6547 פרעה Then Pharaoh H4872 למשׁה for Moses H175 ולאהרן and Aaron, H559 ויאמר and said, H6279 העתירו H413 אל H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5493 ויסר that he may take away H6854 הצפרדעים the frogs H4480 ממני from H5971 ומעמי me, and from my people; H7971 ואשׁלחה go, H853 את H5971 העם and I will let the people H2076 ויזבחו that they may do sacrifice H3068 ליהוה׃ unto the LORD.

9 H559 ויאמר said H4872 משׁה And Moses H6547 לפרעה unto Pharaoh, H6286 התפאר Glory H5921 עלי over H4970 למתי me: when H6279 אעתיר shall I entreat H5650 לך ולעבדיך for thee, and for thy servants, H5971 ולעמך and for thy people, H3772 להכרית to destroy H6854 הצפרדעים the frogs H4480 ממך from H1004 ומבתיך H7535 רק only? H2975 ביאר in the river H7604 תשׁארנה׃ they may remain

10 H559 ויאמר And he said, H4279 למחר Tomorrow. H559 ויאמר And he said, H1697 כדברך according to thy word: H4616 למען that H3045 תדע thou mayest know H3588 כי that H369 אין none H3068 כיהוה like unto the LORD H430 אלהינו׃ our God.

11 H5493 וסרו shall depart H6854 הצפרדעים And the frogs H4480 ממך from H1004 ומבתיך thee and from thy houses, H5650 ומעבדיך and from thy servants, H5971 ומעמך and from thy people; H7535 רק only. H2975 ביאר in the river H7604 תשׁארנה׃ they shall remain

12 H3318 ויצא went out H4872 משׁה And Moses H175 ואהרן and Aaron H5973 מעם from H6547 פרעה Pharaoh: H6817 ויצעק cried H4872 משׁה and Moses H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H5921 על because of H1697 דבר because of H6854 הצפרדעים the frogs H834 אשׁר which H7760 שׂם he had brought H6547 לפרעה׃ against Pharaoh.

13 H6213 ויעשׂ did H3068 יהוה And the LORD H1697 כדבר according to the word H4872 משׁה of Moses; H4191 וימתו died H6854 הצפרדעים and the frogs H4480 מן out of H1004 הבתים the houses, H4480 מן out of H2691 החצרת the villages, H4480 ומן and out of H7704 השׂדת׃ the fields.

14 H6651 ויצברו H853 אתם H2563 חמרם upon heaps: H2563 חמרם upon heaps: H887 ותבאשׁ stank. H776 הארץ׃ and the land

15 H7200 וירא saw H6547 פרעה But when Pharaoh H3588 כי that H1961 היתה there was H7309 הרוחה respite, H3513 והכבד he hardened H853 את H3820 לבו his heart, H3808 ולא not H8085 שׁמע and hearkened H413 אלהם unto H834 כאשׁר them; as H1696 דבר had said. H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD

18 H6213 ויעשׂו did H3651 כן so H2748 החרטמים And the magicians H3909 בלטיהם with their enchantments H3318 להוציא to bring forth H853 את H3654 הכנים lice, H3808 ולא not: H3201 יכלו but they could H1961 ותהי so there were H3654 הכנם lice H120 באדם upon man, H929 ובבהמה׃ and upon beast.

19 H559 ויאמרו said H2748 החרטמם Then the magicians H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H676 אצבע the finger H430 אלהים of God: H1931 הוא This H2388 ויחזק was hardened, H3820 לב heart H6547 פרעה and Pharaoh's H3808 ולא not H8085 שׁמע and he hearkened H413 אלהם unto H834 כאשׁר them; as H1696 דבר had said. 24 H6213 ויעשׂ did H3068 יהוה And the LORD H3651 כן so; H935 ויבא and there came H6157 ערב swarm H3515 כבד a grievous H1004 ביתה into the house H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh, H1004 ובית houses, H5650 עבדיו and his servants' H3605 ובכל and into all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt: H7843 תשׁחת was corrupted H776 הארץ the land H6440 מפני by reason of H6157 הערב׃ the swarm

25 H7121 ויקרא called H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H413 אל for H4872 משׁה Moses H175 ולאהרן and for Aaron, H559 ויאמר and said, H1980 לכו Go H2076 זבחו ye, sacrifice H430 לאלהיכם to your God H776 בארץ׃ in the land.

26 H559 ויאמר said, H4872 משׁה And Moses H3808 לא It is not H3559 נכון meet H6213 לעשׂות to do; H3651 כן so H3588 כי for H8441 תועבת the abomination H4713 מצרים H2076 נזבח we shall sacrifice H3068 ליהוה to the LORD H430 אלהינו our God: H2005 הן lo, H2076 נזבח shall we sacrifice H853 את H8441 תועבת the abomination H4713 מצרים H5869 לעיניהם before their eyes, H3808 ולא and will they not H5619 יסקלנו׃ stone

28 H559 ויאמר said, H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H595 אנכי I H7971 אשׁלח will let you go, H853 אתכם H2076 וזבחתם that ye may sacrifice H3068 ליהוה to the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H4057 במדבר in the wilderness; H7535 רק only H7368 הרחק very far away: H3808 לא ye shall not H7368 תרחיקו very far away: H1980 ללכת go H6279 העתירו entreat H1157 בעדי׃ for

3 H2009 הנה Behold, H3027 יד the hand H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1961 הויה is H4735 במקנך upon thy cattle H834 אשׁר which H7704 בשׂדה in the field, H5483 בסוסים upon the horses, H2543 בחמרים upon the asses, H1581 בגמלים upon the camels, H1241 בבקר upon the oxen, H6629 ובצאן and upon the sheep: H1698 דבר murrain. H3515 כבד grievous H3966 מאד׃ a very

4 H6395 והפלה shall sever H3068 יהוה And the LORD H996 בין between H4735 מקנה the cattle H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H996 ובין H4735 מקנה and the cattle H4714 מצרים of Egypt: H3808 ולא and there shall nothing H4191 ימות die H3605 מכל of all H1121 לבני the children's H3478 ישׂראל of Israel. H1697 דבר׃ and there shall nothing

5 H7760 וישׂם appointed H3068 יהוה And the LORD H4150 מועד a set time, H559 לאמר saying, H4279 מחר Tomorrow H6213 יעשׂה shall do H3068 יהוה the LORD H1697 הדבר thing H2088 הזה this H776 בארץ׃ in the land.

6 H6213 ויעשׂ did H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 את H1697 הדבר thing H2088 הזה that H4283 ממחרת on the morrow, H4191 וימת died: H3605 כל and all H4735 מקנה the cattle H4713 מצרים H4735 וממקנה but of the cattle H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3808 לא not H4191 מת died H259 אחד׃ one.

7 H7971 וישׁלח sent, H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H2009 והנה and, behold, H3808 לא there was not H4191 מת dead. H4735 ממקנה of the cattle H3478 ישׂראל of the Israelites H5704 עד H259 אחד one H3513 ויכבד was hardened, H3820 לב And the heart H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H3808 ולא and he did not H7971 שׁלח go. H853 את H5971 העם׃ let the people

8 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses H413 ואל and unto H175 אהרן Aaron, H3947 קחו Take H4393 לכם מלא to you handfuls H2651 חפניכם to you handfuls H6368 פיח of ashes H3536 כבשׁן of the furnace, H2236 וזרקו sprinkle H4872 משׁה and let Moses H8064 השׁמימה it toward the heaven H5869 לעיני in the sight H6547 פרעה׃ of Pharaoh.

9 H1961 והיה And it shall become H80 לאבק small dust H5921 על in H3605 כל all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H1961 והיה and shall be H5921 על upon H120 האדם man, H5921 ועל and upon H929 הבהמה beast, H7822 לשׁחין a boil H6524 פרח breaking forth H76 אבעבעת blains H3605 בכל throughout all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

10 H3947 ויקחו And they took H853 את H6368 פיח ashes H3536 הכבשׁן of the furnace, H5975 ויעמדו and stood H6440 לפני before H6547 פרעה Pharaoh; H2236 ויזרק sprinkled H853 אתו H4872 משׁה and Moses H8064 השׁמימה it up toward heaven; H1961 ויהי and it became H7822 שׁחין a boil H76 אבעבעת blains H6524 פרח breaking forth H120 באדם upon man, H929 ובבהמה׃ and upon beast.

11 H3808 ולא not H3201 יכלו could H2748 החרטמים And the magicians H5975 לעמד stand H6440 לפני before H4872 משׁה Moses H6440 מפני because of H7822 השׁחין the boils; H3588 כי for H1961 היה was H7822 השׁחין the boil H2748 בחרטמם upon the magicians, H3605 ובכל and upon all H4713 מצרים׃

12 H2388 ויחזק hardened H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 את H3820 לב the heart H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh, H3808 ולא not H8085 שׁמע and he hearkened H413 אלהם unto H834 כאשׁר them; as H1696 דבר had spoken H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה׃ Moses.

13 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H7925 השׁכם Rise up early H1242 בבקר in the morning, H3320 והתיצב and stand H6440 לפני before H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H559 ואמרת and say H413 אליו unto H3541 כה him, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H5680 העברים of the Hebrews, H7971 שׁלח go, H853 את H5971 עמי Let my people H5647 ויעבדני׃ that they may serve

14 H3588 כי For H6471 בפעם time H2063 הזאת will at this H589 אני I H7971 שׁלח send H853 את H3605 כל all H4046 מגפתי my plagues H413 אל upon H3820 לבך thine heart, H5650 ובעבדיך and upon thy servants, H5971 ובעמך and upon thy people; H5668 בעבור that H3045 תדע thou mayest know H3588 כי that H369 אין none H3644 כמני like me H3605 בכל in all H776 הארץ׃ the earth.

15 H3588 כי For H6258 עתה now H7971 שׁלחתי I will stretch out H853 את H3027 ידי my hand, H5221 ואך that I may smite H853 אותך H853 ואת H5971 עמך thee and thy people H1698 בדבר with pestilence; H3582 ותכחד and thou shalt be cut off H4480 מן from H776 הארץ׃ the earth.

16 H199 ואולם And in very deed H5668 בעבור for H2063 זאת this H5975 העמדתיך have I raised thee up, H5668 בעבור for H7200 הראתך to show H853 את H3581 כחי thee my power; H4616 ולמען and that H5608 ספר may be declared H8034 שׁמי my name H3605 בכל throughout all H776 הארץ׃ the earth.

17 H5750 עודך As yet H5549 מסתולל exaltest thou thyself H5971 בעמי against my people, H1115 לבלתי that thou wilt not H7971 שׁלחם׃ let them go?

18 H2005 הנני H4305 ממטיר I will cause it to rain H6256 כעת about this time H4279 מחר tomorrow H1259 ברד hail, H3515 כבד grievous H3966 מאד a very H834 אשׁר such H3808 לא hath not H1961 היה been H3644 כמהו as H4714 במצרים in Egypt H4480 למן since H3117 היום since H3245 הוסדה the foundation H5704 ועד thereof even until H6258 עתה׃ now.

19 H6258 ועתה therefore now, H7971 שׁלח Send H5756 העז gather H853 את H4735 מקנך thy cattle, H853 ואת H3605 כל and all H834 אשׁר that H7704 לך בשׂדה thou hast in the field; H3605 כל every H120 האדם man H929 והבהמה and beast H834 אשׁר which H4672 ימצא shall be found H7704 בשׂדה in the field, H3808 ולא and shall not H622 יאסף be brought H1004 הביתה home, H3381 וירד shall come down H5921 עלהם upon H1259 הברד the hail H4191 ומתו׃ them, and they shall die.

20 H3372 הירא He that feared H853 את H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5650 מעבדי among the servants H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H5127 הניס flee H853 את H5650 עבדיו made his servants H853 ואת H4735 מקנהו and his cattle H413 אל into H1004 הבתים׃ the houses:

21 H834 ואשׁר And he that H3808 לא not H7760 שׂם regarded H3820 לבו regarded H413 אל H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5800 ויעזב left H853 את H5650 עבדיו his servants H853 ואת H4735 מקנהו and his cattle H7704 בשׂדה׃ in the field.

22 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H5186 נטה Stretch forth H853 את H3027 ידך thine hand H5921 על toward H8064 השׁמים heaven, H1961 ויהי that there may be H1259 ברד hail H3605 בכל in all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H5921 על upon H120 האדם man, H5921 ועל and upon H929 הבהמה beast, H5921 ועל and upon H3605 כל every H6212 עשׂב herb H7704 השׂדה of the field, H776 בארץ throughout the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

23 H5186 ויט stretched forth H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את H4294 מטהו his rod H5921 על toward H8064 השׁמים heaven: H3068 ויהוה and the LORD H5414 נתן sent H6963 קלת thunder H1259 וברד and hail, H1980 ותהלך ran along H784 אשׁ and the fire H776 ארצה upon the ground; H4305 וימטר rained H3068 יהוה and the LORD H1259 ברד hail H5921 על upon H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

24 H1961 ויהי So there was H1259 ברד hail, H784 ואשׁ and fire H3947 מתלקחת mingled H8432 בתוך with H1259 הברד the hail, H3515 כבד grievous, H3966 מאד very H834 אשׁר such as H3808 לא none H1961 היה there was H3644 כמהו like it H3605 בכל in all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H227 מאז since H1961 היתה it became H1471 לגוי׃ a nation.

25 H5221 ויך smote H1259 הברד And the hail H3605 בכל throughout all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H853 את H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H7704 בשׂדה in the field, H120 מאדם both man H5704 ועד H929 בהמה and beast; H853 ואת H3605 כל every H6212 עשׂב herb H7704 השׂדה of the field, H5221 הכה smote H1259 הברד and the hail H853 ואת H3605 כל every H6086 עץ tree H7704 השׂדה of the field. H7665 שׁבר׃ and broke

26 H7535 רק Only H776 בארץ in the land H1657 גשׁן of Goshen, H834 אשׁר where H8033 שׁם where H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3808 לא there no H1961 היה was H1259 ברד׃ hail.

27 H7971 וישׁלח sent, H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H7121 ויקרא and called H4872 למשׁה for Moses H175 ולאהרן and Aaron, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אלהם unto H2398 חטאתי them, I have sinned H6471 הפעם this time: H3068 יהוה the LORD H6662 הצדיק righteous, H589 ואני and I H5971 ועמי and my people H7563 הרשׁעים׃ wicked.

28 H6279 העתירו H413 אל H3068 יהוה the LORD H7227 ורב (for enough) H1961 מהית that there be no H6963 קלת thunderings H430 אלהים mighty H1259 וברד and hail; H7971 ואשׁלחה and I will let you go, H853 אתכם H3808 ולא no H3254 תספון longer. H5975 לעמד׃ and ye shall stay

29 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליו unto H4872 משׁה And Moses H3318 כצאתי him, As soon as I am gone out H853 את H5892 העיר of the city, H6566 אפרשׂ I will spread abroad H853 את H3709 כפי my hands H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD; H6963 הקלות the thunder H2308 יחדלון shall cease, H1259 והברד hail; H3808 לא neither H1961 יהיה shall there be H5750 עוד any more H4616 למען that H3045 תדע thou mayest know H3588 כי how that H3068 ליהוה the LORD's. H776 הארץ׃ the earth

30 H859 ואתה But as for thee H5650 ועבדיך and thy servants, H3045 ידעתי I know H3588 כי that H2962 טרם ye will not yet H3372 תיראון fear H6440 מפני H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהים׃ God.

31 H6594 והפשׁתה And the flax H8184 והשׂערה and the barley H5221 נכתה was smitten: H3588 כי for H8184 השׂערה the barley H24 אביב in the ear, H6594 והפשׁתה and the flax H1392 גבעל׃ bolled.

32 H2406 והחטה But the wheat H3698 והכסמת and the rye H3808 לא were not H5221 נכו smitten: H3588 כי for H648 אפילת not grown up. H2007 הנה׃ they

3 H935 ויבא came in H4872 משׁה And Moses H175 ואהרן and Aaron H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H559 ויאמרו and said H413 אליו unto H3541 כה him, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H5680 העברים of the Hebrews, H5704 עד H4970 מתי H3985 מאנת wilt thou refuse H6031 לענת to humble thyself H6440 מפני before H7971 שׁלח go, H5971 עמי me? let my people H5647 ויעבדני׃ that they may serve

4 H3588 כי Else, H518 אם if H3986 מאן refuse H859 אתה thou H7971 לשׁלח go, H853 את H5971 עמי to let my people H2005 הנני H935 מביא will I bring H4279 מחר tomorrow H697 ארבה the locusts H1366 בגבלך׃ into thy coast:

5 H3680 וכסה And they shall cover H853 את H5869 עין the face H776 הארץ of the earth, H3808 ולא that one cannot H3201 יוכל be able H7200 לראת to see H853 את H776 הארץ the earth: H398 ואכל and they shall eat H853 את H3499 יתר the residue H6413 הפלטה of that which is escaped, H7604 הנשׁארת which remaineth H4480 לכם מן unto you from H1259 הברד the hail, H398 ואכל and shall eat H853 את H3605 כל every H6086 העץ tree H6779 הצמח which groweth H4480 לכם מן for you out of H7704 השׂדה׃ the field:

6 H4390 ומלאו And they shall fill H1004 בתיך thy houses, H1004 ובתי and the houses H3605 כל of all H5650 עבדיך thy servants, H1004 ובתי and the houses H3605 כל of all H4713 מצרים H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא neither H7200 ראו have seen, H1 אבתיך thy fathers, H1 ואבות nor thy fathers' H1 אבתיך fathers H3117 מיום since the day H1961 היותם that they were H5921 על upon H127 האדמה the earth H5704 עד unto H3117 היום day. H2088 הזה this H6437 ויפן And he turned H3318 ויצא himself, and went out H5973 מעם from H6547 פרעה׃ Pharaoh.

7 H559 ויאמרו said H5650 עבדי servants H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh's H413 אליו unto H5704 עד H4970 מתי H1961 יהיה be H2088 זה shall this man H4170 לנו למוקשׁ a snare H7971 שׁלח go, H853 את H376 האנשׁים unto us? let the men H5647 ויעבדו that they may serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיהם their God: H2962 הטרם thou not yet H3045 תדע knowest H3588 כי that H6 אבדה is destroyed? H4714 מצרים׃ Egypt

8 H7725 ויושׁב were brought again H853 את H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 ואת H175 אהרן and Aaron H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh: H559 ויאמר and he said H413 אלהם unto H1980 לכו them, Go, H5647 עבדו serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God: H4310 מי who H4310 ומי who H1980 ההלכים׃ they that shall go?

9 H559 ויאמר said, H4872 משׁה And Moses H5288 בנערינו with our young H2205 ובזקנינו and with our old, H1980 נלך We will go H1121 בבנינו with our sons H1323 ובבנותנו and with our daughters, H6629 בצאננו with our flocks H1241 ובבקרנו and with our herds H1980 נלך will we go; H3588 כי for H2282 חג we a feast H3068 יהוה׃ unto the LORD.

10 H559 ויאמר And he said H413 אלהם unto H1961 יהי be H3651 כן so H3068 יהוה them, Let the LORD H5973 עמכם with H834 כאשׁר you, as H7971 אשׁלח I will let you go, H853 אתכם H853 ואת H2945 טפכם and your little ones: H7200 ראו look H3588 כי for H7451 רעה evil H5048 נגד before H6440 פניכם׃ before

11 H3808 לא Not H3651 כן so: H1980 לכו go H4994 נא now H1397 הגברים ye men, H5647 ועבדו and serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD; H3588 כי for H853 אתה H859 אתם that ye H1245 מבקשׁים did desire. H1644 ויגרשׁ And they were driven out H853 אתם H853 מאת H6440 פני presence. H6547 פרעה׃ Pharaoh's

12 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H5186 נטה Stretch out H3027 ידך thine hand H5921 על over H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H697 בארבה for the locusts, H5927 ויעל that they may come up H5921 על upon H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H398 ויאכל and eat H853 את H3605 כל every H6212 עשׂב herb H776 הארץ of the land, H853 את H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H7604 השׁאיר hath left. H1259 הברד׃ the hail

13 H5186 ויט stretched forth H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את H4294 מטהו his rod H5921 על over H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H3068 ויהוה and the LORD H5090 נהג brought H7307 רוח wind H6921 קדים an east H776 בארץ upon the land H3605 כל all H3117 היום day, H1931 ההוא that H3605 וכל and all H3915 הלילה night; H1242 הבקר morning, H1961 היה when it was H7307 ורוח wind H6921 הקדים the east H5375 נשׂא brought H853 את H697 הארבה׃ the locusts.

14 H5927 ויעל went up H697 הארבה And the locusts H5921 על over H3605 כל all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H5117 וינח and rested H3605 בכל in all H1366 גבול the coasts H4714 מצרים of Egypt: H3515 כבד grievous H3966 מאד very H6440 לפניו before H3808 לא no H1961 היה them there were H3651 כן such H697 ארבה locusts H3644 כמהו H310 ואחריו after H3808 לא as they, neither H1961 יהיה them shall be H3651 כן׃ such.

15 H3680 ויכס For they covered H853 את H5869 עין the face H3605 כל of the whole H776 הארץ earth, H2821 ותחשׁך was darkened; H776 הארץ so that the land H398 ויאכל and they did eat H853 את H3605 כל every H6212 עשׂב herb H776 הארץ of the land, H853 ואת H3605 כל and all H6529 פרי the fruit H6086 העץ of the trees H834 אשׁר which H3498 הותיר had left: H1259 הברד the hail H3808 ולא not H3498 נותר and there remained H3605 כל any H3418 ירק green thing H6086 בעץ in the trees, H6212 ובעשׂב or in the herbs H7704 השׂדה of the field, H3605 בכל through all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

16 H4116 וימהר in haste; H6547 פרעה Then Pharaoh H7121 לקרא called H4872 למשׁה for Moses H175 ולאהרן and Aaron H559 ויאמר and he said, H2398 חטאתי I have sinned H3068 ליהוה against the LORD H430 אלהיכם׃ your God,

17 H6258 ועתה Now H5375 שׂא therefore forgive, H4994 נא I pray thee, H2403 חטאתי my sin H389 אך only H6471 הפעם this once, H6279 והעתירו and entreat H3068 ליהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H5493 ויסר that he may take away H5921 מעלי from H7535 רק only. H853 את H4194 המות death H2088 הזה׃ me this

18 H3318 ויצא And he went out H5973 מעם from H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H6279 ויעתר and entreated H413 אל and entreated H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

19 H2015 ויהפך turned H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7307 רוח wind, H3220 ים west H2389 חזק strong H3966 מאד a mighty H5375 וישׂא which took away H853 את H697 הארבה the locusts, H8628 ויתקעהו and cast H3220 ימה sea; H5488 סוף them into the Red H3808 לא not H7604 נשׁאר there remained H697 ארבה locust H259 אחד one H3605 בכל in all H1366 גבול the coasts H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

20 H2388 ויחזק hardened H3068 יהוה But the LORD H853 את H3820 לב heart, H6547 פרעה Pharaoh's H3808 ולא so that he would not H7971 שׁלח go. H853 את H1121 בני let the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel

21 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H5186 נטה Stretch out H3027 ידך thine hand H5921 על toward H8064 השׁמים heaven, H1961 ויהי that there may be H2822 חשׁך darkness H5921 על over H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H4959 וימשׁ may be felt. H2822 חשׁך׃ even darkness

22 H5186 ויט stretched forth H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את H3027 ידו his hand H5921 על toward H8064 השׁמים heaven; H1961 ויהי and there was H2822 חשׁך darkness H653 אפלה a thick H3605 בכל in all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H7969 שׁלשׁת three H3117 ימים׃ days:

23 H3808 לא not H7200 ראו They saw H376 אישׁ one H853 את H251 אחיו another, H3808 ולא neither H6965 קמו rose H376 אישׁ any H8478 מתחתיו from his place H7969 שׁלשׁת for three H3117 ימים days: H3605 ולכל but all H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H1961 היה had H216 אור light H4186 במושׁבתם׃ in their dwellings.

24 H7121 ויקרא called H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H559 ויאמר and said, H1980 לכו Go H5647 עבדו ye, serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD; H7535 רק only H6629 צאנכם let your flocks H1241 ובקרכם and your herds H3322 יצג be stayed: H1571 גם also H2945 טפכם let your little ones H1980 ילך go H5973 עמכם׃ with

25 H559 ויאמר said, H4872 משׁה And Moses H1571 גם also H859 אתה Thou H5414 תתן must give H3027 בידנו us H2077 זבחים sacrifices H5930 ועלת and burnt offerings, H6213 ועשׂינו that we may sacrifice H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהינו׃ our God.

27 H2388 ויחזק hardened H3068 יהוה But the LORD H853 את H3820 לב heart, H6547 פרעה Pharaoh's H3808 ולא not H14 אבה and he would H7971 לשׁלחם׃ let them go.

28 H559 ויאמר said H6547 לו פרעה And Pharaoh H1980 לך unto him, Get H5921 מעלי thee from H8104 השׁמר me, take heed H408 לך אל no H3254 תסף more; H7200 ראות to thyself, see H6440 פני my face H3588 כי for H3117 ביום in day H7200 ראתך thou seest H6440 פני my face H4191 תמות׃ thou shalt die.

29 H559 ויאמר said, H4872 משׁה And Moses H3651 כן well, H1696 דברת Thou hast spoken H3808 לא no H3254 אסף again H5750 עוד more. H7200 ראות I will see H6440 פניך׃ thy face

2 H1696 דבר Speak H4994 נא now H241 באזני in the ears H5971 העם of the people, H7592 וישׁאלו borrow H376 אישׁ and let every man H853 מאת H7453 רעהו his neighbor, H802 ואשׁה and every woman H853 מאת H7468 רעותה her neighbor, H3627 כלי jewels H3701 כסף of silver, H3627 וכלי and jewels H2091 זהב׃ of gold.

3 H5414 ויתן gave H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 את H2580 חן favor H5971 העם the people H5869 בעיני in the sight H4713 מצרים H1571 גם Moreover H376 האישׁ the man H4872 משׁה Moses H1419 גדול great H3966 מאד very H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of the Egyptians. H5869 בעיני in the sight H5650 עבדי servants, H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh's H5869 ובעיני and in the sight H5971 העם׃ of the people.

4 H559 ויאמר said, H4872 משׁה And Moses H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H2676 כחצת H3915 הלילה H589 אני will I H3318 יוצא go out H8432 בתוך into the midst H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt:

5 H4191 ומת shall die, H3605 כל And all H1060 בכור the firstborn H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H1060 מבכור from the firstborn H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H3427 הישׁב that sitteth H5921 על upon H3678 כסאו his throne, H5704 עד even unto H1060 בכור the firstborn H8198 השׁפחה of the maidservant H834 אשׁר that H310 אחר behind H7347 הרחים the mill; H3605 וכל and all H1060 בכור the firstborn H929 בהמה׃ of beasts.

6 H1961 והיתה And there shall be H6818 צעקה cry H1419 גדלה a great H3605 בכל throughout all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H834 אשׁר such as H3644 כמהו like it, H3808 לא none H1961 נהיתה there was H3808 וכמהו לא nor H3254 תסף׃ any more.

7 H3605 ולכל But against any H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3808 לא shall not H2782 יחרץ move H3611 כלב a dog H3956 לשׁנו his tongue, H376 למאישׁ against man H5704 ועד or H929 בהמה beast: H4616 למען that H3045 תדעון ye may know H834 אשׁר how that H6395 יפלה doth put a difference H3068 יהוה the LORD H996 בין between H4714 מצרים the Egyptians H996 ובין H3478 ישׂראל׃ and Israel.

8 H3381 וירדו shall come down H3605 כל And all H5650 עבדיך thy servants H428 אלה these H413 אלי unto H7812 והשׁתחוו me, and bow down themselves H559 לי לאמר unto me, saying, H3318 צא I will go out. H859 אתה H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם the people H834 אשׁר that H7272 ברגליך follow H310 ואחרי thee: and after H3651 כן that H3318 אצא And he went out H3318 ויצא H5973 מעם from H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H2750 בחרי in a great H639 אף׃ anger.

9 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H3808 לא shall not H8085 ישׁמע hearken H413 אליכם unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H4616 למען you; that H7235 רבות may be multiplied H4159 מופתי my wonders H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

10 H4872 ומשׁה And Moses H175 ואהרן and Aaron H6213 עשׂו did H853 את H3605 כל all H4159 המפתים wonders H428 האלה these H6440 לפני before H6547 פרעה Pharaoh: H2388 ויחזק hardened H3068 יהוה and the LORD H853 את H3820 לב heart, H6547 פרעה Pharaoh's H3808 ולא so that he would not H7971 שׁלח go H853 את H1121 בני let the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H776 מארצו׃ out of his land.

Exodus 12:1-32

1 H559 ויאמר spoke H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses H413 ואל H175 אהרן and Aaron H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

2 H2320 החדשׁ month H2088 הזה This H7218 לכם ראשׁ unto you the beginning H2320 חדשׁים of months: H7223 ראשׁון the first H1931 הוא it H2320 לכם לחדשׁי month H8141 השׁנה׃ of the year

3 H1696 דברו Speak H413 אל ye unto H3605 כל all H5712 עדת the congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H559 לאמר saying, H6218 בעשׂר In the tenth H2320 לחדשׁ month H2088 הזה of this H3947 ויקחו they shall take H376 להם אישׁ to them every man H7716 שׂה a lamb, H1004 לבית according to the house H1 אבת of fathers, H7716 שׂה a lamb H1004 לבית׃ for a house:

4 H518 ואם And if H4591 ימעט be too little H1004 הבית the household H1961 מהיות H7716 משׂה the lamb. H3947 ולקח take H1931 הוא let him H7934 ושׁכנו and his neighbor H7138 הקרב next H413 אל unto H1004 ביתו his house H4373 במכסת according to the number H5315 נפשׁת of the souls; H376 אישׁ every man H6310 לפי according to H400 אכלו his eating H3699 תכסו shall make your count H5921 על for H7716 השׂה׃

5 H7716 שׂה Your lamb H8549 תמים without blemish, H2145 זכר a male H1121 בן of the first H8141 שׁנה year: H1961 יהיה shall be H4480 לכם מן from H3532 הכבשׂים the sheep, H4480 ומן or from H5795 העזים the goats: H3947 תקחו׃ ye shall take out

6 H1961 והיה H4931 לכם למשׁמרת H5704 עד it up until H702 ארבעה the fourteenth H6240 עשׂר the fourteenth H3117 יום day H2320 לחדשׁ month: H2088 הזה of the same H7819 ושׁחטו shall kill H853 אתו H3605 כל and the whole H6951 קהל assembly H5712 עדת of the congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H996 בין it in H6153 הערבים׃ the evening.

7 H3947 ולקחו And they shall take H4480 מן of H1818 הדם the blood, H5414 ונתנו and strike H5921 על on H8147 שׁתי the two H4201 המזוזת side posts H5921 ועל and on H4947 המשׁקוף the upper door post H5921 על of H1004 הבתים the houses, H834 אשׁר wherein H398 יאכלו they shall eat H853 אתו׃

8 H398 ואכלו And they shall eat H853 את H1320 הבשׂר the flesh H3915 בלילה night, H2088 הזה in that H6748 צלי roast H784 אשׁ with fire, H4682 ומצות and unleavened bread; H5921 על with H4844 מררים bitter H398 יאכלהו׃ they shall eat

9 H408 אל not H398 תאכלו Eat H4480 ממנו of H4995 נא it raw, H1311 ובשׁל nor sodden at all H1310 מבשׁל nor sodden at all H4325 במים with water, H3588 כי but H518 אם but H6748 צלי roast H784 אשׁ fire; H7218 ראשׁו his head H5921 על with H3767 כרעיו his legs, H5921 ועל and with H7130 קרבו׃ the purtenance

10 H3808 ולא And ye shall let nothing H3498 תותירו it remain H4480 ממנו of H5704 עד until H1242 בקר the morning; H3498 והנתר and that which remaineth H4480 ממנו of H5704 עד it until H1242 בקר the morning H784 באשׁ with fire. H8313 תשׂרפו׃ ye shall burn

11 H3602 וככה And thus H398 תאכלו shall ye eat H853 אתו H4975 מתניכם it; your loins H2296 חגרים girded, H5275 נעליכם your shoes H7272 ברגליכם on your feet, H4731 ומקלכם and your staff H3027 בידכם in your hand; H398 ואכלתם and ye shall eat H853 אתו H2649 בחפזון it in haste: H6453 פסח passover. H1931 הוא it H3068 ליהוה׃ the LORD's

12 H5674 ועברתי For I will pass through H776 בארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3915 בלילה night, H2088 הזה this H5221 והכיתי and will smite H3605 כל all H1060 בכור the firstborn H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H120 מאדם both man H5704 ועד H929 בהמה and beast; H3605 ובכל and against all H430 אלהי the gods H4714 מצרים of Egypt H6213 אעשׂה I will execute H8201 שׁפטים judgment: H589 אני I H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

13 H1961 והיה shall be H1818 הדם And the blood H226 לכם לאת to you for a token H5921 על upon H1004 הבתים the houses H834 אשׁר where H859 אתם ye H8033 שׁם H7200 וראיתי and when I see H853 את H1818 הדם the blood, H6452 ופסחתי I will pass H5921 עלכם over H3808 ולא shall not H1961 יהיה be H5063 בכם נגף you, and the plague H4889 למשׁחית upon you to destroy H5221 בהכתי when I smite H776 בארץ the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

14 H1961 והיה shall be H3117 היום day H2088 הזה And this H2146 לכם לזכרון unto you for a memorial; H2287 וחגתם and ye shall keep H853 אתו H2282 חג it a feast H3068 ליהוה to the LORD H1755 לדרתיכם throughout your generations; H2708 חקת by an ordinance H5769 עולם forever. H2287 תחגהו׃ ye shall keep it a feast

15 H7651 שׁבעת Seven H3117 ימים days H4682 מצות unleavened bread; H398 תאכלו shall ye eat H389 אך even H3117 ביום day H7223 הראשׁון the first H7673 תשׁביתו ye shall put away H7603 שׂאר leaven H1004 מבתיכם out of your houses: H3588 כי for H3605 כל whosoever H398 אכל eateth H2557 חמץ leavened bread H3772 ונכרתה shall be cut off H5315 הנפשׁ soul H1931 ההוא that H3478 מישׂראל H3117 מיום day, H7223 הראשׁן H5704 עד until H3117 יום H7637 השׁבעי׃ the seventh

16 H3117 וביום day H7223 הראשׁון And in the first H4744 מקרא convocation, H6944 קדשׁ a holy H3117 וביום day H7637 השׁביעי and in the seventh H4744 מקרא convocation H6944 קדשׁ a holy H1961 יהיה there shall be H3605 לכם כל manner H4399 מלאכה of work H3808 לא to you; no H6213 יעשׂה shall be done H389 בהם אך in them, save H834 אשׁר which H398 יאכל must eat, H3605 לכל every H5315 נפשׁ man H1931 הוא that H905 לבדו only H6213 יעשׂה׃ may be done

17 H8104 ושׁמרתם And ye shall observe H853 את H4682 המצות unleavened bread; H3588 כי for H6106 בעצם selfsame H3117 היום day H2088 הזה in this H3318 הוצאתי H853 את H6635 צבאותיכם H776 מארץ of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt: H8104 ושׁמרתם therefore shall ye observe H853 את H3117 היום day H2088 הזה this H1755 לדרתיכם in your generations H2708 חקת by an ordinance H5769 עולם׃ forever.

18 H7223 בראשׁן In the first H702 בארבעה on the fourteenth H6240 עשׂר , on the fourteenth H3117 יום day H2320 לחדשׁ of the month H6153 בערב at even, H398 תאכלו ye shall eat H4682 מצת unleavened bread, H5704 עד until H3117 יום day H259 האחד the one H6242 ועשׂרים and twentieth H2320 לחדשׁ of the month H6153 בערב׃ at even.

19 H7651 שׁבעת Seven H3117 ימים days H7603 שׂאר leaven H3808 לא shall there be no H4672 ימצא found H1004 בבתיכם in your houses: H3588 כי for H3605 כל whosoever H398 אכל eateth H2557 מחמצת that which is leavened, H3772 ונכרתה shall be cut off H5315 הנפשׁ soul H1931 ההוא even that H5712 מעדת from the congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H1616 בגר whether he be a stranger, H249 ובאזרח or born H776 הארץ׃ in the land.

20 H3605 כל nothing H2557 מחמצת leavened; H3808 לא nothing H398 תאכלו Ye shall eat H3605 בכל in all H4186 מושׁבתיכם your habitations H398 תאכלו shall ye eat H4682 מצות׃ unleavened bread.

21 H7121 ויקרא called H4872 משׁה Then Moses H3605 לכל for all H2205 זקני the elders H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אלהם unto H4900 משׁכו them, Draw out H3947 וקחו and take H6629 לכם צאן you a lamb H4940 למשׁפחתיכם according to your families, H7819 ושׁחטו and kill H6453 הפסח׃ the passover.

22 H3947 ולקחתם And ye shall take H92 אגדת a bunch H231 אזוב of hyssop, H2881 וטבלתם and dip H1818 בדם in the blood H834 אשׁר that H5592 בסף in the basin, H5060 והגעתם and strike H413 אל and strike H4947 המשׁקוף the lintel H413 ואל H8147 שׁתי and the two H4201 המזוזת side posts H4480 מן with H1818 הדם the blood H834 אשׁר that H5592 בסף in the basin; H859 ואתם of you H3808 לא and none H3318 תצאו shall go out H376 אישׁ and none H6607 מפתח at the door H1004 ביתו of his house H5704 עד until H1242 בקר׃ the morning.

23 H5674 ועבר will pass through H3068 יהוה For the LORD H5062 לנגף to smite H853 את H4713 מצרים H7200 וראה and when he seeth H853 את H1818 הדם the blood H5921 על upon H4947 המשׁקוף the lintel, H5921 ועל and on H8147 שׁתי the two H4201 המזוזת side posts, H6452 ופסח will pass H3068 יהוה the LORD H5921 על over H6607 הפתח the door, H3808 ולא and will not H5414 יתן suffer H7843 המשׁחית the destroyer H935 לבא to come in H413 אל unto H1004 בתיכם your houses H5062 לנגף׃ to smite

24 H8104 ושׁמרתם And ye shall observe H853 את H1697 הדבר thing H2088 הזה this H2706 לחק for an ordinance H1121 לך ולבניך to thee and to thy sons H5704 עד forever. H5769 עולם׃ forever.

25 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H3588 כי when H935 תבאו ye be come H413 אל to H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H5414 יתן will give H3068 יהוה the LORD H834 לכם כאשׁר you, according as H1696 דבר he hath promised, H8104 ושׁמרתם that ye shall keep H853 את H5656 העבדה service. H2063 הזאת׃ this

26 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H3588 כי when H559 יאמרו shall say H413 אליכם unto H1121 בניכם your children H4100 מה you, What H5656 העבדה service? H2063 הזאת׃ mean ye by this

27 H559 ואמרתם That ye shall say, H2077 זבח the sacrifice H6453 פסח passover, H1931 הוא It H3068 ליהוה of the LORD's H834 אשׁר who H6452 פסח passed H5921 על over H1004 בתי the houses H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H4714 במצרים in Egypt, H5062 בנגפו when he smote H853 את H4713 מצרים H853 ואת H1004 בתינו our houses. H5337 הציל and delivered H6915 ויקד bowed the head H5971 העם And the people H7812 וישׁתחוו׃ and worshiped.

28 H1980 וילכו went away, H6213 ויעשׂו and did H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה had commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את H4872 משׁה Moses H175 ואהרן and Aaron, H3651 כן so H6213 עשׂו׃ did

29 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H2677 בחצי that at midnight H3915 הלילה that at midnight H3068 ויהוה the LORD H5221 הכה smote H3605 כל all H1060 בכור the firstborn H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H1060 מבכר from the firstborn H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H3427 הישׁב that sat H5921 על on H3678 כסאו his throne H5704 עד unto H1060 בכור the firstborn H7628 השׁבי of the captive H834 אשׁר that H1004 בבית in the dungeon; H953 הבור in the dungeon; H3605 וכל and all H1060 בכור the firstborn H929 בהמה׃ of cattle.

30 H6965 ויקם rose up H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H3915 לילה in the night, H1931 הוא he, H3605 וכל and all H5650 עבדיו his servants, H3605 וכל and all H4713 מצרים H1961 ותהי and there was H6818 צעקה cry H1419 גדלה a great H4714 במצרים the Egyptians; H3588 כי for H369 אין not H1004 בית a house H834 אשׁר where H369 אין not H8033 שׁם where H4191 מת׃ one dead.

31 H7121 ויקרא And he called H4872 למשׁה for Moses H175 ולאהרן and Aaron H3915 לילה by night, H559 ויאמר and said, H6965 קומו Rise up, H3318 צאו get you forth H8432 מתוך from among H5971 עמי my people, H1571 גם both H859 אתם ye H1571 גם and H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H1980 ולכו and go, H5647 עבדו serve H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1696 כדברכם׃ as ye have said.

32 H1571 גם Also H6629 צאנכם your flocks H1571 גם and H1241 בקרכם your herds, H3947 קחו take H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דברתם ye have said, H1980 ולכו and be gone; H1288 וברכתם and bless H1571 גם me also. H853 אתי׃

Exodus 14:1-31

1 H1696 וידבר spoke H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

2 H1696 דבר Speak H413 אל unto H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7725 וישׁבו that they turn H2583 ויחנו and encamp H6440 לפני before H6367 פי החירת Pi-hahiroth, H996 בין between H4024 מגדל Migdol H996 ובין H3220 הים and the sea, H6440 לפני over against H1189 בעל צפן Baal-zephon: H5226 נכחו before H2583 תחנו it shall ye encamp H5921 על by H3220 הים׃ the sea.

3 H559 ואמר will say H6547 פרעה For Pharaoh H1121 לבני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H943 נבכים entangled H1992 הם They H776 בארץ in the land, H5462 סגר hath shut them in. H5921 עליהם hath shut them in. H4057 המדבר׃ the wilderness

4 H2388 וחזקתי And I will harden H853 את H3820 לב heart, H6547 פרעה Pharaoh's H7291 ורדף that he shall follow H310 אחריהם after H3513 ואכבדה them; and I will be honored H6547 בפרעה upon Pharaoh, H3605 ובכל and upon all H2426 חילו H3045 וידעו may know H4713 מצרים H3588 כי that H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD. H6213 ויעשׂו And they did H3651 כן׃ so.

5 H5046 ויגד And it was told H4428 למלך the king H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3588 כי that H1272 ברח fled: H5971 העם the people H2015 ויהפך was turned H3824 לבב and the heart H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H5650 ועבדיו and of his servants H413 אל against H5971 העם the people, H559 ויאמרו and they said, H4100 מה Why H2063 זאת this, H6213 עשׂינו have we done H3588 כי that H7971 שׁלחנו go H853 את H3478 ישׂראל we have let Israel H5647 מעבדנו׃ from serving

6 H631 ויאסר And he made ready H853 את H7393 רכבו his chariot, H853 ואת H5971 עמו his people H3947 לקח and took H5973 עמו׃ with

7 H3947 ויקח And he took H8337 שׁשׁ six H3967 מאות hundred H7393 רכב chariots, H970 בחור H3605 וכל and all H7393 רכב the chariots H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H7991 ושׁלשׁם and captains H5921 על over H3605 כלו׃ every one

8 H2388 ויחזק hardened H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 את H3820 לב the heart H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H4428 מלך king H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H7291 וירדף and he pursued H310 אחרי after H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel: H1121 ובני and the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3318 יצאים went out H3027 ביד hand. H7311 רמה׃ with a high

9 H7291 וירדפו pursued H4713 מצרים H310 אחריהם after H5381 וישׂיגו and overtook H853 אותם H2583 חנים them encamping H5921 על by H3220 הים the sea, H3605 כל them, all H5483 סוס the horses H7393 רכב chariots H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh, H6571 ופרשׁיו and his horsemen, H2428 וחילו and his army, H5921 על beside H6367 פי החירת Pi-hahiroth, H6440 לפני before H1189 בעל צפן׃ Baal-zephon.

10 H6547 ופרעה And when Pharaoh H7126 הקריב drew nigh, H5375 וישׂאו lifted up H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 את H5869 עיניהם their eyes, H2009 והנה and, behold, H4713 מצרים H5265 נסע marched H310 אחריהם after H3372 וייראו afraid: H3966 מאד them; and they were sore H6817 ויצעקו cried out H1121 בני and the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

11 H559 ויאמרו And they said H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H1097 המבלי H369 אין no H6913 קברים graves H4714 במצרים in Egypt, H3947 לקחתנו hast thou taken us away H4191 למות to die H4057 במדבר in the wilderness? H4100 מה wherefore H2063 זאת thus H6213 עשׂית hast thou dealt H3318 לנו להוציאנו with us, to carry us forth H4714 ממצרים׃

12 H3808 הלא not H2088 זה this H1697 הדבר the word H834 אשׁר that H1696 דברנו we did tell H413 אליך we did tell H4714 במצרים thee in Egypt, H559 לאמר saying, H2308 חדל H4480 ממנו than that we should die H5647 ונעבדה that we may serve H853 את H4713 מצרים H3588 כי For H2896 טוב better H5647 לנו עבד for us to serve H853 את H4713 מצרים H4191 ממתנו than that we should die H4057 במדבר׃ in the wilderness.
