  13 H559 ויאמר And he said H5288 לנערו unto his servant, H1980 לך Come, H7126 ונקרבה and let us draw near H259 באחד to one H4725 המקמות of these places H3885 ולנו to lodge all night, H1390 בגבעה in Gibeah, H176 או or H7414 ברמה׃ in Ramah.

  14 H5674 ויעברו And they passed on H1980 וילכו and went their way; H935 ותבא went down H8121 להם השׁמשׁ and the sun H681 אצל upon them by H1390 הגבעה Gibeah, H834 אשׁר which H1144 לבנימן׃ to Benjamin.

  15 H5493 ויסרו And they turned aside H8033 שׁם thither, H935 לבוא to go in H3885 ללון to lodge H1390 בגבעה in Gibeah: H935 ויבא and when he went in, H3427 וישׁב he sat him down H7339 ברחוב in a street H5892 העיר of the city: H369 ואין for no H376 אישׁ man H622 מאסף that took H853 אותם   H1004 הביתה them into his house H3885 ללון׃ to lodging.

  16 H2009 והנה And, behold, H376 אישׁ man H2205 זקן an old H935 בא there came H4480 מן from H4639 מעשׂהו his work H4480 מן out of H7704 השׂדה the field H6153 בערב at even, H376 והאישׁ but the men H2022 מהר also of mount H669 אפרים Ephraim; H1931 והוא and he H1481 גר sojourned H1390 בגבעה in Gibeah: H376 ואנשׁי   H4725 המקום of the place H1145 בני ימיני׃ Benjamites.

  17 H5375 וישׂא And when he had lifted up H5869 עיניו his eyes, H7200 וירא he saw H853 את   H376 האישׁ man H732 הארח a wayfaring H7339 ברחב in the street H5892 העיר of the city: H559 ויאמר said, H376 האישׁ man H2205 הזקן and the old H575 אנה   H1980 תלך goest H370 ומאין thou? and whence H935 תבוא׃ comest

  19 H1571 וגם both H8401 תבן straw H1571 גם and H4554 מספוא provender H3426 ישׁ Yet there is H2543 לחמורינו for our asses; H1571 וגם also H3899 לחם bread H3196 ויין and wine H3426 ישׁ and there is H519 לי ולאמתך for me, and for thy handmaid, H5288 ולנער and for the young man H5973 עם with H5650 עבדיך thy servants: H369 אין no H4270 מחסור want H3605 כל of any H1697 דבר׃ thing.

  20 H559 ויאמר said, H376 האישׁ man H2205 הזקן And the old H7965 שׁלום Peace H7535 לך רק with thee; howsoever H3605 כל all H4270 מחסורך thy wants H5921 עלי upon H7535 רק me; only H7339 ברחוב in the street. H408 אל not H3885 תלן׃ lodge

  21 H935 ויביאהו So he brought H1004 לביתו him into his house, H1101 ויבול and gave provender H2543 לחמורים unto the asses: H7364 וירחצו and they washed H7272 רגליהם their feet, H398 ויאכלו and did eat H8354 וישׁתו׃ and drink.

H5039 הנבלה vile H2063 הזאת׃ so

  25 H3808 ולא not H14 אבו would H582 האנשׁים   H8085 לשׁמע hearken H2388 לו ויחזק took H376 האישׁ But the men H6370 בפילגשׁו his concubine, H3318 ויצא and brought her forth H413 אליהם unto H2351 החוץ and brought her forth H3045 וידעו them; and they knew H853 אותה   H5953 ויתעללו her, and abused H3605 בה כל her all H3915 הלילה the night H5704 עד until H1242 הבקר the morning: H7971 וישׁלחוה they let her go.   26 H935 ותבא Then came H802 האשׁה the woman H6437 לפנות in the dawning H1242 הבקר of the day, H5307 ותפל and fell down H6607 פתח at the door H1004 בית house H376 האישׁ of the man's H834 אשׁר where H113 אדוניה her lord H8033 שׁם where H5704 עד till H216 האור׃ it was light.

  27 H6965 ויקם rose up H113 אדניה And her lord H1242 בבקר in the morning, H6605 ויפתח and opened H1817 דלתות the doors H1004 הבית of the house, H3318 ויצא and went out H1980 ללכת to go H1870 לדרכו his way: H2009 והנה and, behold, H802 האשׁה the woman H6370 פילגשׁו his concubine H5307 נפלת was fallen down H6607 פתח the door H1004 הבית of the house, H3027 וידיה and her hands H5921 על upon H5592 הסף׃ the threshold.

  28 H559 ויאמר And he said H413 אליה unto H6965 קומי her, Up, H1980 ונלכה and let us be going. H369 ואין But none H6030 ענה answered. H3947 ויקחה Then the man took H5921 על her upon H2543 החמור an ass, H6965 ויקם rose up, H376 האישׁ and the man H1980 וילך and got H4725 למקמו׃ him unto his place.

  29 H935 ויבא And when he was come H413 אל into H1004 ביתו his house, H3947 ויקח he took H853 את   H3979 המאכלת a knife, H2388 ויחזק and laid hold H6370 בפילגשׁו on his concubine, H5408 וינתחה and divided H6106 לעצמיה her, with her bones, H8147 לשׁנים into twelve H6240 עשׂר into twelve H5409 נתחים pieces, H7971 וישׁלחה and sent H3605 בכל her into all H1366 גבול the coasts H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  30 H1961 והיה And it was H3605 כל so, that all H7200 הראה that saw H559 ואמר it said, H3808 לא There was no H1961 נהיתה deed done H3808 ולא nor H7200 נראתה seen H2063 כזאת such H3117 למיום from the day H5927 עלות came up H1121 בני that the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H5704 עד unto H3117 היום day: H2088 הזה this H7760 שׂימו consider H5921 לכם עליה of H5779 עצו it, take advice, H1696 ודברו׃ and speak

  24 H6370 ופילגשׁו And his concubine, H8034 ושׁמה whose name H7208 ראומה Reumah, H3205 ותלד bore H1571 גם also H1931 הוא she H853 את   H2875 טבח Tebah, H853 ואת   H1514 גחם and Gaham, H853 ואת   H8477 תחשׁ and Thahash, H853 ואת   H4601 מעכה׃ and Maachah.

  6 H1121 ולבני But unto the sons H6370 הפילגשׁים of the concubines, H834 אשׁר which H85 לאברהם Abraham H5414 נתן gave H85 אברהם had, Abraham H4979 מתנת gifts, H7971 וישׁלחם and sent them away H5921 מעל from H3327 יצחק Isaac H1121 בנו his son, H5750 בעודנו while he yet H2416 חי lived, H6924 קדמה eastward, H413 אל unto H776 ארץ country. H6924 קדם׃ the east

  19 H4191 ותמת died, H7354 רחל And Rachel H6912 ותקבר and was buried H1870 בדרך in the way H672 אפרתה to Ephrath, H1931 הוא which H1035 בית לחם׃ Bethlehem.

  30 H6912 ויקברו And they buried H853 אתו   H1366 בגבול him in the border H5159 נחלתו of his inheritance H8556 בתמנת סרח in Timnathserah, H834 אשׁר which H2022 בהר in mount H669 אפרים Ephraim, H6828 מצפון on the north side H2022 להר of the hill H1608 געשׁ׃ of Gaash.

  33 H499 ואלעזר And Eleazar H1121 בן the son H175 אהרן of Aaron H4191 מת died; H6912 ויקברו and they buried H853 אתו   H1389 בגבעת him in a hill H6372 פינחס Phinehas H1121 בנו his son, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן was given H2022 לו בהר him in mount H669 אפרים׃ Ephraim.

  22 H5186 ויטו So they spread H53 לאבשׁלום Absalom H168 האהל a tent H5921 על upon H1406 הגג the top H935 ויבא went H53 אבשׁלום of the house; and Absalom H413 אל in unto H6370 פלגשׁי concubines H1 אביו his father's H5869 לעיני in the sight H3605 כל of all H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel.

  5 H935 ויבא came H3097 יואב And Joab H413 אל to H4428 המלך the king, H1004 הבית into the house H559 ויאמר and said, H3001 הבשׁת Thou hast shamed H3117 היום this day H853 את   H6440 פני the faces H3605 כל of all H5650 עבדיך thy servants, H4422 הממלטים have saved H853 את   H5315 נפשׁך thy life, H3117 היום which this day H853 ואת   H5315 נפשׁ and the lives H1121 בניך of thy sons H1323 ובנתיך and of thy daughters, H5315 ונפשׁ and the lives H802 נשׁיך of thy wives, H5315 ונפשׁ and the lives H6370 פלגשׁיך׃ of thy concubines;

  3 H935 ויבא came H1732 דוד And David H413 אל to H1004 ביתו his house H3389 ירושׁלם at Jerusalem; H3947 ויקח took H4428 המלך and the king H853 את   H6235 עשׂר the ten H802 נשׁים women H6370 פלגשׁים concubines, H834 אשׁר whom H3240 הניח   H8104 לשׁמר to keep H1004 הבית the house, H5414 ויתנם and put H1004 בית them in ward, H4931 משׁמרת them in ward, H3557 ויכלכלם and fed H413 ואליהם in unto H3808 לא not H935 בא them, but went H1961 ותהיינה them.
