  17 H4100 כמה How oft H5216 נר is the candle H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H1846 ידעך put out! H935 ויבא and cometh H5921 עלימו upon H343 אידם their destruction H2256 חבלים sorrows H2505 יחלק them! distributeth H639 באפו׃ in his anger.

  19 H1870 דרך The way H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H653 כאפלה as darkness: H3808 לא not H3045 ידעו they know H4100 במה at what H3782 יכשׁלו׃ they stumble.

  9 H216 אור The light H6662 צדיקים of the righteous H8055 ישׂמח rejoiceth: H5216 ונר but the lamp H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H1846 ידעך׃ shall be put out.

  20 H7043 מקלל Whoso curseth H1 אביו his father H517 ואמו or his mother, H1846 ידעך shall be put out H5216 נרו his lamp H380 באישׁון in obscure H2822 חשׁך׃ darkness.

  20 H3588 כי For H3808 לא no H1961 תהיה there shall be H319 אחרית reward H7451 לרע to the evil H5216 נר the candle H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H1846 ידעך׃ shall be put out.

  11 H2005 הן Behold, H3605 כלכם all H6919 קדחי ye that kindle H784 אשׁ a fire, H247 מאזרי that compass about H2131 זיקות with sparks: H1980 לכו walk H217 באור in the light H784 אשׁכם of your fire, H2131 ובזיקות and in the sparks H1197 בערתם ye have kindled. H3027 מידי of mine hand; H1961 היתה shall ye have H2063 זאת This H4620 לכם למעצבה in sorrow. H7901 תשׁכבון׃ ye shall lie down

  31 H1732 ודוד David, H5046 הגיד And told H559 לאמר saying, H302 אחיתפל Ahithophel H7194 בקשׁרים among the conspirators H5973 עם with H53 אבשׁלום Absalom. H559 ויאמר said, H1732 דוד And David H5528 סכל into foolishness. H4994 נא I pray thee, H853 את   H6098 עצת turn the counsel H302 אחיתפל of Ahithophel H3068 יהוה׃ O LORD,

  13 H3920 לכד He taketh H2450 חכמים the wise H6193 בערמם in their own craftiness: H6098 ועצת and the counsel H6617 נפתלים of the froward H4116 נמהרה׃ is carried headlong.

  6 H7561 ירשׁיעך condemneth H6310 פיך Thine own mouth H3808 ולא thee, and not H589 אני I: H8193 ושׂפתיך yea, thine own lips H6030 יענו׃ testify

  22 H4390 במלאות In the fullness H5607 שׂפקו of his sufficiency H3334 יצר he shall be in straits: H3605 לו כל every H3027 יד hand H6001 עמל of the wicked H935 תבואנו׃ shall come

  5 H834 אשׁר Whose H7105 קצירו harvest H7456 רעב   H398 יאכל eateth up, H413 ואל it even out of H6791 מצנים the thorns, H3947 יקחהו and taketh H7602 ושׁאף swalloweth up H6782 צמים and the robber H2428 חילם׃ their substance.

  14 H1961 והיה And he shall be H4720 למקדשׁ for a sanctuary; H68 ולאבן but for a stone H5063 נגף of stumbling H6697 ולצור and for a rock H4383 מכשׁול of offense H8147 לשׁני to both H1004 בתי the houses H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H6341 לפח for a gin H4170 ולמוקשׁ and for a snare H3427 ליושׁב to the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם׃ of Jerusalem.

  15 H3782 וכשׁלו among them shall stumble, H7227 בם רבים And many H5307 ונפלו and fall, H7665 ונשׁברו and be broken, H3369 ונוקשׁו and be snared, H3920 ונלכדו׃ and be taken.

  6 H4305 ימטר he shall rain H5921 על Upon H7563 רשׁעים the wicked H6341 פחים snares, H784 אשׁ fire H1614 וגפרית and brimstone, H7307 ורוח tempest: H2152 זלעפות and a horrible H4521 מנת the portion H3563 כוסם׃ of their cup.

  13 H6566 ופרשׂתי also will I spread H853 את   H7568 רשׁתי My net H5921 עליו upon H8610 ונתפשׂ him, and he shall be taken H4686 במצודתי in my snare: H935 והבאתי and I will bring H853 אתו   H894 בבלה him to Babylon H776 ארץ the land H3778 כשׂדים of the Chaldeans; H853 ואותה   H3808 לא yet shall he not H7200 יראה see H8033 ושׁם there. H4191 ימות׃ it, though he shall die

  6 H136 ואדני For the Lord H8085 השׁמיע to hear H853 את   H4264 מחנה had made the host H758 ארם of the Syrians H6963 קול a noise H7393 רכב of chariots, H6963 קול and a noise H5483 סוס of horses, H6963 קול the noise H2428 חיל host: H1419 גדול of a great H559 ויאמרו and they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H251 אחיו another, H2009 הנה Lo, H7936 שׂכר hath hired H5921 עלינו against H4428 מלך the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 את   H4428 מלכי us the kings H2850 החתים of the Hittites, H853 ואת   H4428 מלכי and the kings H4714 מצרים of the Egyptians, H935 לבוא to come H5921 עלינו׃ upon

  7 H6965 ויקומו Wherefore they arose H5127 וינוסו and fled H5399 בנשׁף in the twilight, H5800 ויעזבו and left H853 את   H168 אהליהם their tents, H853 ואת   H5483 סוסיהם and their horses, H853 ואת   H2543 חמריהם and their asses, H4264 המחנה even the camp H834 כאשׁר as H1931 היא it H5127 וינסו and fled H413 אל for H5315 נפשׁם׃ their life.

  4 H3588 כי For H2671 חצי the arrows H7706 שׁדי of the Almighty H5978 עמדי within H834 אשׁר whereof H2534 חמתם me, the poison H8354 שׁתה drinketh up H7307 רוחי my spirit: H1161 בעותי the terrors H433 אלוה of God H6186 יערכוני׃ do set themselves in array against

  21 H6963 קול sound H6343 פחדים A dreadful H241 באזניו in his ears: H7965 בשׁלום in prosperity H7703 שׁודד the destroyer H935 יבואנו׃ shall come upon

  8 H2472 כחלום as a dream, H5774 יעוף He shall fly away H3808 ולא and shall not H4672 ימצאוהו be found: H5074 וידד yea, he shall be chased away H2384 כחזיון as a vision H3915 לילה׃ of the night.

  25 H8025 שׁלף It is drawn, H3318 ויצא and cometh out H1465 מגוה of the body; H1300 וברק yea, the glittering sword H4846 ממררתו out of his gall: H1980 יהלך cometh H5921 עליו upon H367 אמים׃ terrors

  5 H8033 שׁם There H6342 פחדו were they in great fear, H6343 פחד were they in great fear, H3808 לא no H1961 היה was: H6343 פחד fear H3588 כי for H430 אלהים God H6340 פזר hath scattered H6106 עצמות the bones H2583 חנך of him that encampeth H954 הבשׁתה thee: thou hast put to shame, H3588 כי because H430 אלהים God H3988 מאסם׃ hath despised

  19 H349 איך How H1961 היו are H8047 לשׁמה they into desolation, H7281 כרגע as in a moment! H5486 ספו they are utterly consumed H8552 תמו they are utterly consumed H4480 מן with H1091 בלהות׃ terrors.

  1 H5127 נסו flee H369 ואין when no H7291 רדף man pursueth: H7563 רשׁע The wicked H6662 וצדיקים but the righteous H3715 ככפיר as a lion. H982 יבטח׃ are bold

  25 H408 אל nor H3318 תצאי   H7704 השׂדה into the field, H1870 ובדרך by the way; H408 אל   H1980 תלכי walk H3588 כי for H2719 חרב the sword H341 לאיב of the enemy H4032 מגור fear H5439 מסביב׃ on every side.

  3 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H4283 ממחרת on the morrow, H3318 ויצא brought forth H6583 פשׁחור that Pashur H853 את   H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H4480 מן on the morrow, H4115 המהפכת the stocks.   4 H3588 כי For H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H2005 הנני   H5414 נתנך I will make H4032 למגור thee a terror H3605 לך ולכל to thyself, and to all H157 אהביך thy friends: H5307 ונפלו and they shall fall H2719 בחרב by the sword H341 איביהם of their enemies, H5869 ועיניך and thine eyes H7200 ראות shall behold H853 ואת   H3605 כל all H3063 יהודה Judah H5414 אתן and I will give H3027 ביד into the hand H4428 מלך of the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H1540 והגלם and he shall carry them captive H894 בבלה into Babylon, H5221 והכם and shall slay H2719 בחרב׃ them with the sword.

  5 H4069 מדוע Wherefore H7200 ראיתי have I seen H1992 המה them H2844 חתים dismayed H5472 נסגים turned away H268 אחור back? H1368 וגבוריהם and their mighty ones H3807 יכתו are beaten down, H4498 ומנוס and are fled apace, H5127 נסו and are fled apace, H3808 ולא and look not back: H6437 הפנו and look not back: H4032 מגור fear H5439 מסביב round about, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  29 H168 אהליהם Their tents H6629 וצאנם and their flocks H3947 יקחו shall they take away: H3407 יריעותיהם to themselves their curtains, H3605 וכל and all H3627 כליהם their vessels, H1581 וגמליהם and their camels; H5375 ישׂאו they shall take H1992 להם   H7121 וקראו and they shall cry H5921 עליהם unto H4032 מגור them, Fear H5439 מסביב׃ on every side.

  5 H7649 שׂבעים full H3899 בלחם for bread; H7936 נשׂכרו have hired out themselves H7457 ורעבים and hungry H2308 חדלו ceased: H5704 עד so that H6135 עקרה the barren H3205 ילדה hath born H7651 שׁבעה seven; H7227 ורבת and she that hath many H1121 בנים children H535 אמללה׃ is waxed feeble.

  36 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H3605 כל every one H3498 הנותר that is left H1004 בביתך in thine house H935 יבוא shall come H7812 להשׁתחות crouch H95 לו לאגורת to him for a piece H3701 כסף of silver H3603 וככר and a morsel H3899 לחם of bread, H559 ואמר and shall say, H5596 ספחני Put H4994 נא me, I pray thee, H413 אל into H259 אחת one H3550 הכהנות of the priests' offices, H398 לאכל that I may eat H6595 פת a piece H3899 לחם׃ of bread.

  23 H5074 נדד wandereth abroad H1931 הוא He H3899 ללחם for bread, H344 איה   H3045 ידע he knoweth H3588 כי that H3559 נכון is ready H3027 בידו at his hand. H3117 יום the day H2822 חשׁך׃ of darkness

  24 H1204 יבעתהו shall make him afraid; H6862 צר Trouble H4691 ומצוקה and anguish H8630 תתקפהו they shall prevail against H4428 כמלך him, as a king H6264 עתיד ready H3593 לכידור׃ to the battle.

  12 H518 אם If H3808 לא not, H7725 ישׁוב he turn H2719 חרבו his sword; H3913 ילטושׁ he will whet H7198 קשׁתו his bow, H1869 דרך he hath bent H3559 ויכוננה׃ and made it ready.

  13 H3559 ולו הכין He hath also prepared H3627 כלי for him the instruments H4194 מות of death; H2671 חציו his arrows H1814 לדלקים against the persecutors. H6466 יפעל׃ he ordaineth

  14 H2009 הנה Behold, H2254 יחבל he travaileth H205 און with iniquity, H2029 והרה and hath conceived H5999 עמל mischief, H3205 וילד and brought forth H8267 שׁקר׃ falsehood.

  10 H3715 כפירים The young lions H7326 רשׁו do lack, H7456 ורעבו and suffer hunger: H1875 ודרשׁי but they that seek H3068 יהוה the LORD H3808 לא shall not H2637 יחסרו want H3605 כל any H2896 טוב׃ good

  10 H5128 ונוע be continually vagabonds, H5128 ינועו be continually vagabonds, H1121 בניו Let his children H7592 ושׁאלו and beg: H1875 ודרשׁו let them seek H2723 מחרבותיהם׃ also out of their desolate places.

  21 H5674 ועבר And they shall pass H7185 בה נקשׁה through it, hard pressed H7457 ורעב   H1961 והיה and it shall come to pass, H3588 כי that when H7456 ירעב they shall be hungry, H7107 והתקצף they shall fret themselves, H7043 וקלל and curse H4428 במלכו their king H430 ובאלהיו and their God, H6437 ופנה and look H4605 למעלה׃ upward.

  3 H7205 ראובן Reuben, H1060 בכרי my firstborn, H859 אתה thou H3581 כחי my might, H7225 וראשׁית and the beginning H202 אוני of my strength, H3499 יתר the excellency H7613 שׂאת of dignity, H3499 ויתר and the excellency H5794 עז׃ of power:

  16 H905 בדי to the bars H7585 שׁאל of the pit, H3381 תרדנה They shall go down H518 אם when H3162 יחד together H5921 על in H6083 עפר the dust. H5183 נחת׃ rest

  30 H7462 ורעו shall feed, H1060 בכורי And the firstborn H1800 דלים of the poor H34 ואביונים and the needy H983 לבטח in safety: H7257 ירבצו shall lie down H4191 והמתי and I will kill H7458 ברעב with famine, H8328 שׁרשׁך thy root H7611 ושׁאריתך thy remnant. H2026 יהרג׃ and he shall slay

  6 H7095 לקצבי to the bottoms H2022 הרים of the mountains; H3381 ירדתי I went down H776 הארץ the earth H1280 ברחיה with her bars H1157 בעדי about H5769 לעולם me forever: H5927 ותעל yet hast thou brought up H7845 משׁחת from corruption, H2416 חיי my life H3068 יהוה O LORD H430 אלהי׃ my God.

  12 H2063 וזאת And this H1961 תהיה shall be H4046 המגפה the plague H834 אשׁר wherewith H5062 יגף will smite H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H3605 כל all H5971 העמים the people H834 אשׁר that H6633 צבאו have fought H5921 על against H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem; H4743 המק shall consume away H1320 בשׂרו Their flesh H1931 והוא while they H5975 עמד stand H5921 על upon their feet, H7272 רגליו upon their feet, H5869 ועיניו and their eyes H4743 תמקנה shall consume away H2356 בחריהן in their holes, H3956 ולשׁונו and their tongue H4743 תמק shall consume away H6310 בפיהם׃ in their mouth.

  14 H834 אשׁר Whose H6990 יקוט shall be cut off, H3689 כסלו hope H1004 ובית web. H5908 עכבישׁ a spider's H4009 מבטחו׃ and whose trust

  22 H8130 שׂנאיך They that hate H3847 ילבשׁו thee shall be clothed H1322 בשׁת with shame; H168 ואהל and the dwelling place H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H369 איננו׃ shall come to naught.

  20 H5869 ועיני But the eyes H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H3615 תכלינה shall fail, H4498 ומנוס and they shall not escape, H6 אבד   H4480 מנהם   H8615 ותקותם and their hope H4646 מפח the giving up H5315 נפשׁ׃ of the ghost.

  17 H3588 כי For H3162 יחדו to them even as H1242 בקר the morning H6757 למו צלמות the shadow of death: H3588 כי if H5234 יכיר know H1091 בלהות the terrors H6757 צלמות׃ of the shadow of death.

  34 H853 את   H3605 כל all H1364 גבה high H7200 יראה He beholdeth H1931 הוא he H4428 מלך a king H5921 על over H3605 כל all H1121 בני the children H7830 שׁחץ׃ of pride.

  4 H3820 לבי My heart H2342 יחיל is sore pained H7130 בקרבי within H367 ואימות me: and the terrors H4194 מות of death H5307 נפלו are fallen H5921 עלי׃ upon

  10 H7563 רשׁע The wicked H7200 יראה shall see H3707 וכעס and be grieved; H8127 שׁניו with his teeth, H2786 יחרק he shall gnash H4549 ונמס and melt away: H8378 תאות the desire H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H6 תאבד׃ shall perish.

  28 H8431 תוחלת The hope H6662 צדיקים of the righteous H8057 שׂמחה gladness: H8615 ותקות but the expectation H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H6 תאבד׃ shall perish.

  32 H7451 ברעתו in his wickedness: H1760 ידחה is driven away H7563 רשׁע The wicked H2620 וחסה hath hope H4194 במותו in his death. H6662 צדיק׃ but the righteous

  24 H3068 ויהוה Then the LORD H4305 המטיר rained H5921 על upon H5467 סדם Sodom H5921 ועל and upon H6017 עמרה Gomorrah H1614 גפרית brimstone H784 ואשׁ and fire H853 מאת   H3068 יהוה the LORD H4480 מן from H8064 השׁמים׃ heaven;

  23 H1614 גפרית thereof brimstone, H4417 ומלח and salt, H8316 שׂרפה burning, H3605 כל the whole H776 ארצה land H3808 לא it is not H2232 תזרע sown, H3808 ולא nor H6779 תצמח beareth, H3808 ולא nor H5927 יעלה groweth H3605 בה כל any H6212 עשׂב grass H4114 כמהפכת therein, like the overthrow H5467 סדם of Sodom, H6017 ועמרה and Gomorrah, H126 אדמה Admah, H6636 וצביים and Zeboim, H834 אשׁר which H2015 הפך overthrew H3068 יהוה the LORD H639 באפו in his anger, H2534 ובחמתו׃ and in his wrath:

  12 H1961 יהי shall be H7457 רעב hunger-bitten, H202 אנו His strength H343 ואיד and destruction H3559 נכון ready H6763 לצלעו׃ at his side.

  13 H398 יאכל It shall devour H905 בדי the strength H5785 עורו of his skin: H398 יאכל shall devour H905 בדיו his strength. H1060 בכור the firstborn H4194 מות׃ of death
