5 H6965 ויקם For he established H5715 עדות a testimony H3290 ביעקב in Jacob, H8451 ותורה a law H7760 שׂם and appointed H3478 בישׂראל in Israel, H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוה he commanded H853 את H1 אבותינו our fathers, H3045 להודיעם that they should make them known H1121 לבניהם׃ to their children:

13 H834 כאשׁר As H3789 כתוב written H8451 בתורת in the law H4872 משׁה of Moses, H853 את H3605 כל all H7451 הרעה evil H2063 הזאת this H935 באה is come H5921 עלינו upon H3808 ולא us: yet made we not our prayer H2470 חלינו us: yet made we not our prayer H854 את H6440 פני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God, H7725 לשׁוב that we might turn H5771 מעוננו from our iniquities, H7919 ולהשׂכיל and understand H571 באמתך׃ thy truth.

14 H8245 וישׁקד watched H3068 יהוה Therefore hath the LORD H5921 על upon H7451 הרעה the evil, H935 ויביאה and brought H5921 עלינו it upon H3588 כי us: for H6662 צדיק righteous H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H5921 על in H3605 כל all H4639 מעשׂיו his works H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה he doeth: H3808 ולא not H8085 שׁמענו for we obeyed H6963 בקלו׃ his voice.

15 H6258 ועתה And now, H136 אדני O Lord H430 אלהינו our God, H834 אשׁר that H3318 הוצאת H853 את H5971 עמך H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3027 ביד hand, H2389 חזקה with a mighty H6213 ותעשׂ and hast gotten H8034 לך שׁם thee renown, H3117 כיום day; H2088 הזה as at this H2398 חטאנו we have sinned, H7561 רשׁענו׃ we have done wickedly.
