  2 H7069 ואקנה So I got H853 את   H232 האזור a girdle H1697 כדבר according to the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H7760 ואשׂם and put H5921 על on H4975 מתני׃ my loins.

  3 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר And the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H8145 שׁנית me the second time, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  4 H3947 קח Take H853 את   H232 האזור the girdle H834 אשׁר that H7069 קנית thou hast got, H834 אשׁר which H5921 על upon H4975 מתניך thy loins, H6965 וקום and arise, H1980 לך go H6578 פרתה to Euphrates, H2934 וטמנהו and hide H8033 שׁם it there H5357 בנקיק in a hole H5553 הסלע׃ of the rock.

  5 H1980 ואלך So I went, H2934 ואטמנהו and hid H6578 בפרת it by Euphrates, H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 אותי׃  

  6 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H7093 מקץ after H3117 ימים days, H7227 רבים many H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה that the LORD H413 אלי unto H6965 קום me, Arise, H1980 לך go H6578 פרתה to Euphrates, H3947 וקח and take H8033 משׁם from thence, H853 את   H232 האזור the girdle H834 אשׁר which H6680 צויתיך I commanded H2934 לטמנו thee to hide H8033 שׁם׃ there.

  7 H1980 ואלך Then I went H6578 פרתה to Euphrates, H2658 ואחפר and digged, H3947 ואקח and took H853 את   H232 האזור the girdle H4480 מן from H4725 המקום the place H834 אשׁר where H2934 טמנתיו I had hid H8033 שׁמה where H2009 והנה it: and, behold, H7843 נשׁחת was marred, H232 האזור the girdle H3808 לא for nothing. H6743 יצלח it was profitable H3605 לכל׃ for nothing.

  8 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר Then the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H559 לאמר׃ me, saying,

  11 H3588 כי For H834 כאשׁר as H1692 ידבק cleaveth H232 האזור the girdle H413 אל to H4975 מתני the loins H376 אישׁ of a man, H3651 כן so H1692 הדבקתי have I caused to cleave H413 אלי unto H853 את   H3605 כל me the whole H1004 בית house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 ואת   H3605 כל and the whole H1004 בית house H3063 יהודה of Judah, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H1961 להיות that they might be H5971 לי לעם unto me for a people, H8034 ולשׁם and for a name, H8416 ולתהלה and for a praise, H8597 ולתפארת and for a glory: H3808 ולא but they would not H8085 שׁמעו׃ hear.

  1 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1980 הלוך Go H7069 וקנית and get H1228 בקבק bottle, H3335 יוצר a potter's H2789 חרשׂ earthen H2205 ומזקני and of the ancients H5971 העם of the people, H2205 ומזקני and of the ancients H3548 הכהנים׃ of the priests;

  2 H3318 ויצאת And go forth H413 אל unto H1516 גיא the valley H1121 בן of the son H2011 הנם of Hinnom, H834 אשׁר which H6607 פתח by the entry H8179 שׁער gate, H2777 החרסות of the east H7121 וקראת and proclaim H8033 שׁם there H853 את   H1697 הדברים the words H834 אשׁר that H1696 אדבר   H413 אליך׃

  6 H3651 לכן Therefore, H2009 הנה behold, H3117 ימים the days H935 באים come, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3808 ולא shall no H7121 יקרא be called H4725 למקום place H2088 הזה that this H5750 עוד more H8612 התפת Tophet, H1516 וגיא nor The valley H1121 בן of the son H2011 הנם of Hinnom, H3588 כי but H518 אם but H1516 גיא The valley H2028 ההרגה׃ of slaughter.

  7 H1238 ובקתי And I will make void H853 את   H6098 עצת the counsel H3063 יהודה of Judah H3389 וירושׁלם and Jerusalem H4725 במקום place; H2088 הזה in this H5307 והפלתים and I will cause them to fall H2719 בחרב by the sword H6440 לפני before H341 איביהם their enemies, H3027 וביד and by the hands H1245 מבקשׁי of them that seek H5315 נפשׁם their lives: H5414 ונתתי will I give H853 את   H5038 נבלתם and their carcasses H3978 למאכל to be meat H5775 לעוף for the fowls H8064 השׁמים of the heaven, H929 ולבהמת and for the beasts H776 הארץ׃ of the earth.

  8 H7760 ושׂמתי And I will make H853 את   H5892 העיר city H2063 הזאת this H8047 לשׁמה desolate, H8322 ולשׁרקה and a hissing; H3605 כל every one H5674 עבר that passeth H5921 עליה thereby H8074 ישׁם shall be astonished H8319 וישׁרק and hiss H5921 על because H3605 כל of all H4347 מכתה׃ the plagues

  9 H398 והאכלתים And I will cause them to eat H853 את   H1320 בשׂר the flesh H1121 בניהם of their sons H853 ואת   H1320 בשׂר and the flesh H1323 בנתיהם of their daughters, H376 ואישׁ every one H1320 בשׂר the flesh H7453 רעהו of his friend H398 יאכלו and they shall eat H4692 במצור in the siege H4689 ובמצוק and straitness, H834 אשׁר wherewith H6693 יציקו shall straiten H341 להם איביהם their enemies, H1245 ומבקשׁי and they that seek H5315 נפשׁם׃ their lives,

  10 H7665 ושׁברת Then shalt thou break H1228 הבקבק the bottle H5869 לעיני in the sight H582 האנשׁים   H1980 ההלכים that go H854 אותך׃ with

  11 H559 ואמרת And shalt say H413 אליהם unto H3541 כה them, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts; H3602 ככה Even so H7665 אשׁבר will I break H853 את   H5971 העם people H2088 הזה this H853 ואת   H5892 העיר city, H2063 הזאת and this H834 כאשׁר as H7665 ישׁבר breaketh H853 את   H3627 כלי vessel, H3335 היוצר a potter's H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא cannot H3201 יוכל cannot H7495 להרפה be made whole H5750 עוד again: H8612 ובתפת in Tophet, H6912 יקברו and they shall bury H369 מאין till no H4725 מקום place H6912 לקבור׃ to bury.

  12 H3651 כן Thus H6213 אעשׂה will I do H4725 למקום place, H2088 הזה unto this H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3427 וליושׁביו and to the inhabitants H5414 ולתת thereof, and make H853 את   H5892 העיר city H2063 הזאת this H8612 כתפת׃ as Tophet:

  13 H1961 והיו shall be H1004 בתי And the houses H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem, H1004 ובתי and the houses H4428 מלכי of the kings H3063 יהודה of Judah, H4725 כמקום as the place H8612 התפת of Tophet, H2931 הטמאים defiled H3605 לכל because of all H1004 הבתים the houses H834 אשׁר whose H6999 קטרו they have burned incense H5921 על upon H1406 גגתיהם roofs H3605 לכל unto all H6635 צבא the host H8064 השׁמים of heaven, H5258 והסך and have poured out H5262 נסכים drink offerings H430 לאלהים gods.   17 H602 האנק to cry, H1826 דם Forbear H4191 מתים for the dead, H60 אבל mourning H3808 לא no H6213 תעשׂה make H6287 פארך the tire of thine head H2280 חבושׁ bind H5921 עליך upon H5275 ונעליך thy shoes H7760 תשׂים thee, and put on H7272 ברגליך upon thy feet, H3808 ולא not H5844 תעטה and cover H5921 על   H8222 שׂפם lips, H3899 ולחם the bread H376 אנשׁים of men. H3808 לא not H398 תאכל׃ and eat

  23 H6287 ופארכם And your tires H5921 על upon H7218 ראשׁיכם your heads, H5275 ונעליכם and your shoes H7272 ברגליכם upon your feet: H3808 לא ye shall not H5594 תספדו mourn H3808 ולא nor H1058 תבכו weep; H4743 ונמקתם but ye shall pine away H5771 בעונתיכם for your iniquities, H5098 ונהמתם and mourn H376 אישׁ one H413 אל toward H251 אחיו׃ another.

  8 H5921 על   H2063 זאת   H5594 אספדה I will wail H3213 ואילילה and howl, H1980 אילכה I will go H7758 שׁילל stripped H6174 וערום and naked: H6213 אעשׂה I will make H4553 מספד a wailing H8577 כתנים   H60 ואבל and mourning H1323 כבנות as the owls. H3284 יענה׃ as the owls.

  18 H2009 הנה Behold, H595 אנכי I H3206 והילדים and the children H834 אשׁר whom H5414 נתן hath given H3068 לי יהוה the LORD H226 לאתות me for signs H4159 ולמופתים and for wonders H3478 בישׂראל in Israel H5973 מעם from H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H7931 השׁכן which dwelleth H2022 בהר in mount H6726 ציון׃ Zion.

  1 H1945 הוי Woe H776 ארץ to the land H6767 צלצל shadowing H3671 כנפים with wings, H834 אשׁר which H5676 מעבר beyond H5104 לנהרי the rivers H3568 כושׁ׃ of Ethiopia:

H5104 נהרים the rivers H776 ארצו׃ land

  3 H3605 כל All H3427 ישׁבי ye inhabitants H8398 תבל of the world, H7931 ושׁכני and dwellers H776 ארץ on the earth, H5375 כנשׂא ye, when he lifteth up H5251 נס an ensign H2022 הרים on the mountains; H7200 תראו see H8628 וכתקע and when he bloweth H7782 שׁופר a trumpet, H8085 תשׁמעו׃ hear

  4 H3588 כי For H3541 כה so H559 אמר said H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אלי unto H8252 אשׁקוטה me, I will take my rest, H5027 ואביטה and I will consider H4349 במכוני in my dwelling place H2527 כחם heat H6703 צח like a clear H5921 עלי upon H219 אור   H5645 כעב like a cloud H2919 טל of dew H2527 בחם in the heat H7105 קציר׃ of harvest.

  5 H3588 כי For H6440 לפני before H7105 קציר the harvest, H8552 כתם is perfect, H6525 פרח when the bud H1155 ובסר and the sour grape H1580 גמל ripening H1961 יהיה is H5328 נצה in the flower, H3772 וכרת he shall both cut off H2150 הזלזלים the sprigs H4211 במזמרות with pruning hooks, H853 ואת   H5189 הנטישׁות the branches. H5493 הסיר and take away H8456 התז׃ cut down

  6 H5800 יעזבו They shall be left H3162 יחדו together H5861 לעיט unto the fowls H2022 הרים of the mountains, H929 ולבהמת and to the beasts H776 הארץ of the earth: H6972 וקץ shall summer H5921 עליו upon H5861 העיט and the fowls H3605 וכל them, and all H929 בהמת the beasts H776 הארץ of the earth H5921 עליו upon H2778 תחרף׃ shall winter

  6 H3615 וכלית And when thou hast accomplished H853 את   H428 אלה them, H7901 ושׁכבת lie H5921 על on H6654 צדך side, H3227 הימוני   H8145 שׁנית again H5375 ונשׂאת and thou shalt bear H853 את   H5771 עון the iniquity H1004 בית of the house H3063 יהודה of Judah H705 ארבעים forty H3117 יום days: H3117 יום thee each day for a year.   22 H3588 וכי And if H559 תאמרי thou say H3824 בלבבך in thine heart, H4069 מדוע Wherefore H7122 קראני come H428 אלה these things H7230 ברב upon me? For the greatness H5771 עונך of thine iniquity H1540 נגלו discovered, H7757 שׁוליך are thy skirts H2554 נחמסו made bare. H6119 עקביך׃ thy heels

  26 H1571 וגם Therefore H589 אני will I H2834 חשׂפתי discover H7757 שׁוליך thy skirts H5921 על upon H6440 פניך thy face, H7200 ונראה may appear. H7036 קלונך׃ that thy shame

  26 H5414 ונתתים And I will deliver H3027 ביד them into the hand H1245 מבקשׁי of those that seek H5315 נפשׁם their lives, H3027 וביד and into the hand H5019 נבוכדראצר of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon, H3027 וביד and into the hand H5650 עבדיו of his servants: H310 ואחרי and afterward H3651 כן and afterward H7931 תשׁכן it shall be inhabited, H3117 כימי as in the days H6924 קדם of old, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  18 H8471 ובתחפנחס At Tehaphnehes H2821 חשׂך   H3117 היום also the day H7665 בשׁברי when I shall break H8033 שׁם there H853 את   H4133 מטות the yokes H4714 מצרים of Egypt: H7673 ונשׁבת shall cease H1347 בה גאון and the pomp H5797 עזה of her strength H1931 היא in her: as for her, H6051 ענן a cloud H3680 יכסנה shall cover H1323 ובנותיה her, and her daughters H7628 בשׁבי into captivity. H1980 תלכנה׃ shall go

  21 H6258 עתה Now, H2009 הנה behold, H982 בטחת thou trustest H5921 לך על upon H4938 משׁענת the staff H7070 הקנה reed, H7533 הרצוץ bruised H2088 הזה of this H5921 על upon H4714 מצרים Egypt, H834 אשׁר which H5564 יסמך lean, H376 אישׁ if a man H5921 עליו on H935 ובא it will go H3709 בכפו into his hand, H5344 ונקבה and pierce H3651 כן it: so H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H4428 מלך king H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3605 לכל unto all H982 הבטחים that trust H5921 עליו׃ on

  22 H2308 חדלו Cease H4480 לכם מן ye from H120 האדם man, H834 אשׁר whose H5397 נשׁמה breath H639 באפו in his nostrils: H3588 כי for H4100 במה wherein H2803 נחשׁב to be accounted H1931 הוא׃ is he

  3 H1961 והיה be H4581 לכם מעוז Therefore shall the strength H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H1322 לבשׁת your shame, H2622 והחסות and the trust H6738 בצל in the shadow H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3639 לכלמה׃ confusion.

  5 H3605 כל They were all H887 הבאישׁ   H5921 על of H5971 עם a people H3808 לא could not H3276 יועילו profit H3808 למו לא them, nor H5828 לעזר be a help H3808 ולא nor H3276 להועיל profit, H3588 כי but H1322 לבשׁת a shame, H1571 וגם and also H2781 לחרפה׃ a reproach.

  7 H4714 ומצרים For the Egyptians H1892 הבל in vain, H7385 וריק and to no purpose: H5826 יעזרו shall help H3651 לכן therefore H7121 קראתי have I cried H2063 לזאת concerning this, H7293 רהב Their strength H1992 הם   H7674 שׁבת׃ to sit still.

  6 H2009 הנה Lo, H982 בטחת thou trustest H5921 על in H4938 משׁענת the staff H7070 הקנה reed, H7533 הרצוץ broken H2088 הזה of this H5921 על on H4714 מצרים Egypt; H834 אשׁר whereon H5564 יסמך lean, H376 אישׁ if a man H5921 עליו whereon H935 ובא it will go H3709 בכפו into his hand, H5344 ונקבה and pierce H3651 כן it: so H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H4428 מלך king H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3605 לכל to all H982 הבטחים that trust H5921 עליו׃ in

  23 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H408 אל Let not H1984 יתהלל glory H2450 חכם the wise H2451 בחכמתו in his wisdom, H408 ואל neither H1984 יתהלל glory H1368 הגבור let the mighty H1369 בגבורתו in his might, H408 אל let not H1984 יתהלל glory H6223 עשׁיר the rich H6239 בעשׁרו׃ in his riches:

  24 H3588 כי me, that H518 אם   H2063 בזאת in this, H1984 יתהלל let him that glorieth H1984 המתהלל glory H7919 השׂכל that he understandeth H3045 וידע and knoweth H853 אותי   H3588 כי for H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD H6213 עשׂה which exercise H2617 חסד lovingkindness, H4941 משׁפט judgment, H6666 וצדקה and righteousness, H776 בארץ in the earth: H3588 כי   H428 באלה in these H2654 חפצתי I delight, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  5 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H779 ארור Cursed H1397 הגבר the man H834 אשׁר that H982 יבטח trusteth H120 באדם in man, H7760 ושׂם and maketh H1320 בשׂר flesh H2220 זרעו his arm, H4480 ומן from H3068 יהוה the LORD. H5493 יסור departeth H3820 לבו׃ and whose heart

  6 H3045 וידעו shall know H3605 כל And all H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3588 כי that H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3282 יען because H1961 היותם they have been H4938 משׁענת a staff H7070 קנה of reed H1004 לבית to the house H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  7 H8610 בתפשׂם When they took hold H3709 בך בכפך of thee by thy hand, H7533 תרוץ thou didst break, H1234 ובקעת and rend H3605 להם כל all H3802 כתף their shoulder: H8172 ובהשׁענם and when they leaned H5921 עליך upon H7665 תשׁבר thee, thou didst broke, H5976 והעמדת to be at a stand. H3605 להם כל and madest all H4975 מתנים׃ their loins

  20 H954 בשׁו They were confounded H3588 כי because H982 בטח they had hoped; H935 באו they came H5704 עדיה thither, H2659 ויחפרו׃ and were ashamed.

  30 H4422 ימלט He shall deliver H336 אי the island H5355 נקי of the innocent: H4422 ונמלט and it is delivered H1252 בבר by the pureness H3709 כפיך׃ of thine hands.

  3 H4100 ומה And what H6213 תעשׂו will ye do H3117 ליום in the day H6486 פקדה of visitation, H7722 ולשׁואה and in the desolation H4801 ממרחק from far? H935 תבוא shall come H5921 על to H4310 מי whom H5127 תנוסו will ye flee H5833 לעזרה for help? H575 ואנה and where H5800 תעזבו will ye leave H3519 כבודכם׃ your glory?

  17 H7760 ושׂמתי also will I lay H4941 משׁפט Judgment H6957 לקו to the line, H6666 וצדקה and righteousness H4949 למשׁקלת to the plummet: H3261 ויעה shall sweep away H1259 ברד and the hail H4268 מחסה the refuge H3577 כזב of lies, H5643 וסתר the hiding place. H4325 מים and the waters H7857 ישׁטפו׃ shall overflow

  1 H1945 הוי Woe H1121 בנים children, H5637 סוררים to the rebellious H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6213 לעשׂות that take H6098 עצה counsel, H3808 ולא but not H4480 מני of H5258 ולנסך me; and that cover H4541 מסכה with a covering, H3808 ולא but not H7307 רוחי of my spirit, H4616 למען that H5595 ספות they may add H2403 חטאת sin H5921 על to H2403 חטאת׃ sin:

  2 H1980 ההלכים That walk H3381 לרדת to go down H4714 מצרים into Egypt, H6310 ופי at my mouth; H3808 לא and have not H7592 שׁאלו asked H5810 לעוז to strengthen H4581 במעוז themselves in the strength H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh, H2620 ולחסות and to trust H6738 בצל in the shadow H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt!

  3 H1961 והיה be H4581 לכם מעוז Therefore shall the strength H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H1322 לבשׁת your shame, H2622 והחסות and the trust H6738 בצל in the shadow H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3639 לכלמה׃ confusion.

  4 H3588 כי For H1961 היו were H6814 בצען at Zoan, H8269 שׂריו his princes H4397 ומלאכיו and his ambassadors H2609 חנס to Hanes. H5060 יגיעו׃ came
