  13 H8269 ושׂר But the prince H4438 מלכות of the kingdom H6539 פרס of Persia H5975 עמד withstood H5048 לנגדי withstood H6242 עשׂרים and twenty H259 ואחד me one H3117 יום days: H2009 והנה but, lo, H4317 מיכאל Michael, H259 אחד one H8269 השׂרים princes, H7223 הראשׁנים of the chief H935 בא came H5826 לעזרני to help H589 ואני me; and I H3498 נותרתי remained H8033 שׁם there H681 אצל with H4428 מלכי the kings H6539 פרס׃ of Persia.

  15 H1696 ובדברו And when he had spoken H5973 עמי unto H1697 כדברים words H428 האלה such H5414 נתתי me, I set H6440 פני my face H776 ארצה toward the ground, H481 ונאלמתי׃ and I became dumb.

  16 H2009 והנה And, behold, H1823 כדמות like the similitude H1121 בני of the sons H120 אדם of men H5060 נגע touched H5921 על touched H8193 שׂפתי my lips: H6605 ואפתח then I opened H6310 פי my mouth, H1696 ואדברה and spoke, H559 ואמרה and said H413 אל unto H5975 העמד him that stood H5048 לנגדי before H113 אדני me, O my lord, H4759 במראה   H2015 נהפכו are turned H6735 צירי my sorrows H5921 עלי upon H3808 ולא no H6113 עצרתי me, and I have retained H3581 כח׃ strength.

  21 H61 אבל But H5046 אגיד I will show H853 לך את   H7559 הרשׁום thee that which is noted H3791 בכתב in the Scripture H571 אמת of truth: H369 ואין and none H259 אחד and none H2388 מתחזק that holdeth H5973 עמי with H5921 על me in H428 אלה these things, H3588 כי but H518 אם but H4317 מיכאל Michael H8269 שׂרכם׃ your prince.

  32 H5921 ועל And for H8138 השׁנות was doubled H2472 החלום that the dream H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H6471 פעמים twice; H3588 כי because H3559 נכון established H1697 הדבר the thing H5973 מעם by H430 האלהים God, H4116 וממהר will shortly H430 האלהים and God H6213 לעשׂתו׃ bring it to pass.

  22 H8141 ובשׁנת year H259 אחת Now in the first H3566 לכורשׁ of Cyrus H4428 מלך king H6539 פרס of Persia, H3615 לכלות might be accomplished, H1697 דבר that the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H6310 בפי by the mouth H3414 ירמיהו of Jeremiah H5782 העיר stirred up H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H7307 רוח the spirit H3566 כורשׁ of Cyrus H4428 מלך king H6539 פרס of Persia, H5674 ויעבר that he made a proclamation H6963 קול that he made a proclamation H3605 בכל throughout all H4438 מלכותו his kingdom, H1571 וגם and also H4385 במכתב in writing, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  7 H4428 והמלך the king H3566 כורשׁ Also Cyrus H3318 הוציא brought forth H853 את   H3627 כלי the vessels H1004 בית of the house H3069 יהוה   H834 אשׁר which H3318 הוציא had brought forth H5019 נבוכדנצר Nebuchadnezzar H3389 מירושׁלם   H5414 ויתנם and had put H1004 בבית them in the house H430 אלהיו׃ of his gods;

  8 H3318 ויוציאם bring forth H3566 כורשׁ Even those did Cyrus H4428 מלך king H6539 פרס of Persia H5921 על by H3027 יד the hand H4990 מתרדת of Mithredath H1489 הגזבר the treasurer, H5608 ויספרם and numbered H8339 לשׁשׁבצר them unto Sheshbazzar, H5387 הנשׂיא the prince H3063 ליהודה׃ of Judah.

  7 H5414 ויתנו They gave H3701 כסף money H2672 לחצבים also unto the masons, H2796 ולחרשׁים and to the carpenters; H3978 ומאכל and meat, H4960 ומשׁתה and drink, H8081 ושׁמן and oil, H6722 לצדנים unto them of Zidon, H6876 ולצרים and to them of Tyre, H935 להביא to bring H6086 עצי trees H730 ארזים cedar H4480 מן from H3844 הלבנון Lebanon H413 אל to H3220 ים the sea H3305 יפוא of Joppa, H7558 כרשׁיון according to the grant H3566 כורשׁ that they had of Cyrus H4428 מלך king H6539 פרס of Persia.   5 H7936 וסכרים And hired H5921 עליהם against H3289 יועצים counselors H6565 להפר them, to frustrate H6098 עצתם their purpose, H3605 כל all H3117 ימי the days H3566 כורשׁ of Cyrus H4428 מלך king H6539 פרס of Persia, H5704 ועד even until H4438 מלכות the reign H1867 דריושׁ of Darius H4428 מלך king H6539 פרס׃ of Persia.

  28 H559 האמר That saith H3566 לכורשׁ of Cyrus, H7473 רעי   H3605 וכל all H2656 חפצי my pleasure: H7999 ישׁלם and shall perform H559 ולאמר even saying H3389 לירושׁלם to Jerusalem, H1129 תבנה Thou shalt be built; H1964 והיכל and to the temple, H3245 תוסד׃ Thy foundation shall be laid.

  7 H7760 וישׂם gave H1992 להם   H8269 שׂר Unto whom the prince H5631 הסריסים of the eunuchs H8034 שׁמות names: H7760 וישׂם for he gave H1840 לדניאל unto Daniel H1095 בלטשׁאצר of Belteshazzar; H2608 ולחנניה and to Hananiah, H7714 שׁדרך of Shadrach; H4332 ולמישׁאל and to Mishael, H4335 מישׁך of Meshach; H5838 ולעזריה and to Azariah, H5664 עבד נגו׃ of Abed-nego.

  28 H1841 ודניאל Daniel H1836 דנה So this H6744 הצלח prospered H4437 במלכות in the reign H1868 דריושׁ of Darius, H4437 ובמלכות and in the reign H3567 כורשׁ of Cyrus H6543 פרסיא׃ the Persian.

  16 H8085 ואשׁמע And I heard H6963 קול voice H120 אדם a man's H996 בין between H195 אולי Ulai, H7121 ויקרא which called, H559 ויאמר and said, H1403 גבריאל Gabriel, H995 הבן to understand H1975 להלז make this H853 את   H4758 המראה׃ the vision.

  14 H935 ובאתי Now I am come H995 להבינך to make thee understand H853 את   H834 אשׁר what H7136 יקרה shall befall H5971 לעמך thy people H319 באחרית in the latter H3117 הימים days: H3588 כי for H5750 עוד yet H2377 חזון the vision H3117 לימים׃ for days.

  2 H6258 ועתה And now H571 אמת thee the truth. H5046 אגיד will I show H2009 לך הנה Behold, H5750 עוד yet H7969 שׁלשׁה three H4428 מלכים kings H5975 עמדים there shall stand up H6539 לפרס in Persia; H7243 והרביעי and the fourth H6238 יעשׁיר shall be far richer H6239 עשׁר through his riches H1419 גדול   H3605 מכל than all: H2393 וכחזקתו and by his strength H6239 בעשׁרו   H5782 יעיר he shall stir up H3605 הכל all H853 את   H4438 מלכות the realm H3120 יון׃ of Greece.

  4 H859 ואתה But thou, H1840 דניאל O Daniel, H5640 סתם shut up H1697 הדברים the words, H2856 וחתם and seal H5612 הספר the book, H5704 עד to H6256 עת the time H7093 קץ of the end: H7751 ישׁטטו shall run to and fro, H7227 רבים many H7235 ותרבה shall be increased. H1847 הדעת׃ and knowledge
