19 H428 ואלה So these H3318 יצאו came out H4480 מן of H5892 העיר the city, H5288 נערי young men H8269 שׂרי of the princes H4082 המדינות of the provinces H2428 והחיל and the army H834 אשׁר which H310 אחריהם׃ followed

10 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליו unto H477 אלישׁע And Elisha H1980 לך him, Go, H559 אמר say H3808 לא H2421 חיה H2421 תחיה H7200 והראני hath showed H3068 יהוה howbeit the LORD H3588 כי me that H4191 מות he shall surely die. H4191 ימות׃ he shall surely die.

12 H559 ויאמר said, H2371 חזאל And Hazael H4069 מדוע Why H113 אדני my lord? H1058 בכה weepeth H559 ויאמר And he answered, H3588 כי Because H3045 ידעתי I know H853 את H834 אשׁר that H6213 תעשׂה thou wilt do H1121 לבני unto the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel: H7451 רעה the evil H4013 מבצריהם their strongholds H7971 תשׁלח wilt thou set H784 באשׁ on fire, H970 ובחריהם and their young men H2719 בחרב with the sword, H2026 תהרג wilt thou slay H5768 ועלליהם their children, H7376 תרטשׁ and wilt dash H2030 והרתיהם their women with child. 15 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H4283 ממחרת on the morrow, H3947 ויקח that he took H4346 המכבר a thick cloth, H2881 ויטבל and dipped H4325 במים in water, H6566 ויפרשׂ and spread H5921 על on H6440 פניו his face, H4191 וימת so that he died: H4427 וימלך reigned H2371 חזהאל and Hazael H8478 תחתיו׃ in his stead.
