Exodus 18:16

Exodus 18:26

Ruth 4:1

1 Kings 3:16-28

18 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H3117 ביום day H7992 השׁלישׁי the third H3205 ללדתי after that I was delivered, H3205 ותלד was delivered H1571 גם also: H802 האשׁה woman H2063 הזאת that this H587 ואנחנו and we H3162 יחדו together; H369 אין no H2114 זר stranger H854 אתנו with H1004 בבית us in the house, H2108 זולתי save H8147 שׁתים two H587 אנחנו we H1004 בבית׃ in the house.

19 H4191 וימת died H1121 בן child H802 האשׁה woman's H2063 הזאת And this H3915 לילה in the night; H834 אשׁר because H7901 שׁכבה she overlaid H5921 עליו׃ she overlaid

20 H6965 ותקם And she arose H8432 בתוך at midnight, H3915 הלילה at midnight, H3947 ותקח and took H853 את H1121 בני my son H681 מאצלי from beside H519 ואמתך me, while thine handmaid H3463 ישׁנה slept, H7901 ותשׁכיבהו and laid H2436 בחיקה it in her bosom, H853 ואת H1121 בנה child H4191 המת her dead H7901 השׁכיבה and laid H2436 בחיקי׃ in my bosom.

21 H6965 ואקם And when I rose H1242 בבקר in the morning H3243 להיניק H853 את H1121 בני my son, H2009 והנה behold, H4191 מת it was dead: H995 ואתבונן H413 אליו H1242 בבקר it in the morning, H2009 והנה behold, H3808 לא not H1961 היה it was H1121 בני H834 אשׁר which H3205 ילדתי׃ I did bear.

22 H559 ותאמר said, H802 האשׁה woman H312 האחרת And the other H3808 לא Nay; H3588 כי but H1121 בני my son, H2416 החי the living H1121 ובנך thy son. H4191 המת and the dead H2063 וזאת And this H559 אמרת said, H3808 לא No; H3588 כי but H1121 בנך thy son, H4191 המת the dead H1121 ובני my son. H2416 החי and the living H1696 ותדברנה Thus they spoke H6440 לפני before H4428 המלך׃ the king.

23 H559 ויאמר Then said H4428 המלך the king, H2063 זאת The one H559 אמרת saith, H2088 זה This H1121 בני my son H2416 החי that liveth, H1121 ובנך and thy son H4191 המת the dead: H2063 וזאת and the other H559 אמרת saith, H3808 לא Nay; H3588 כי but H1121 בנך thy son H4191 המת the dead, H1121 ובני and my son H2416 החי׃ the living.

24 H559 ויאמר said, H4428 המלך And the king H3947 קחו Bring H2719 לי חרב me a sword. H935 ויבאו And they brought H2719 החרב a sword H6440 לפני before H4428 המלך׃ the king.

25 H559 ויאמר said, H4428 המלך And the king H1504 גזרו Divide H853 את H3206 הילד child H2416 החי the living H8147 לשׁנים in two, H5414 ותנו and give H853 את H2677 החצי half H259 לאחת to the one, H853 ואת H2677 החצי and half H259 לאחת׃ to the other.

Job 24:14

Proverbs 4:16
