⁹ If then we have had the fathers of our flesh for correctors, and reverenced them; shall we not much more be under subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?

⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

³⁰ Being therefore a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn to him with an oath, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Messiah to sit upon his throne;

⁷ Be in subjection then to God. Resist the devil, and he will fly from you.
