⁶ Thus saith the Lord of hostes, Though it be vnpossible in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these dayes, should it therefore be vnpossible in my sight, sayth the Lord of hostes?

¹⁴ (Shall any thing be hard to the Lord? at the time appointed will I returne vnto thee, euen according to the time of life, and Sarah shall haue a sonne.)

²² Shall the sheepe and the beeues be slaine for them, to finde them? either shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them to suffice them? ²³ And the Lord saide vnto Moses, Is the Lordes hand shortened? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to passe vnto thee, or no.

² Then a prince, on whose hande the King leaned, answered the man of God, and saide, Though the Lord would make windowes in the heauen, could this thing come to passe? And he said, Beholde, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not eate thereof.

²³ This was the Lordes doing, and it is marueilous in our eyes.

When ye Lord brought againe the captiuitie of Zion, we were like them that dreame. ² Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with ioye: then sayd they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. ³ The Lord hath done great things for vs, whereof we reioyce.

¹⁷ Ah Lord God, beholde, thou hast made the heauen and the earth by thy great power, and by thy stretched out arme, and there is nothing hard vnto thee.

²⁷ Beholde, I am the LORD GOD of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

²⁰ And beholde, thou shalt be domme, and not be able to speake, vntill the day that these things be done, because thou beleeuedst not my words, which shalbe fulfilled in their season.

³⁷ For with God shall nothing be vnpossible.

²⁷ And he said, The things which are vnpossible with men, are possible with God.

²⁰ Neither did he doubt of the promise of God through vnbeliefe, but was strengthened in the faith, and gaue glorie to God, ²¹ Being fully assured that he which had promised, was also able to doe it.

¹⁹ I speake after the maner of man, because of the infirmitie of your flesh: for as yee haue giuen your members seruants to vncleannes and to iniquitie, to commit iniquitie, so now giue your mebers seruants vnto righteousnesse in holinesse. ²⁰ For when ye were the seruants of sinne, ye were freed from righteousnesse. ²¹ What fruit had ye then in those things, whereof ye are nowe ashamed? For the ende of those things is death.
