² The Lord is great in Zion, and he is high aboue all the people.

¹ A song or Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praysed, in the Citie of our God, euen vpon his holy Mountaine. ² Mount Zion, lying Northwarde, is faire in situation: it is the ioy of the whole earth, and the Citie of the great King. ³ In the palaces thereof God is knowen for a refuge.

² Out of Zion, which is the perfection of beautie, hath God shined.

⁷ He ruleth the worlde with his power: his eyes beholde the nations: the rebellious shall not exalt them selues. Selah.

¹ To him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalme or song committed to Asaph. God is knowen in Iudah: his Name is great in Israel. ² For in Shalem is his Tabernacle, and his dwelling in Zion.

⁹ For thou, Lord, art most High aboue all the earth: thou art much exalted aboue all gods.

⁴ The Lord is high aboue all nations, and his glorie aboue the heauens.

⁶ Cry out, and shoute, O inhabitant of Zion: for great is ye holy one of Israel in the middes of thee.

³² What shall then one answere the messengers of the Gentiles? That the Lord hath stablished Zion, and the poore of his people shall trust in it.

³⁴ Now therefore I Nebuchad-nezzar prayse and extoll and magnifie the King of heauen, whose workes are all trueth, and his wayes iudgement, and those that walke in pride, he is able to abase. ³⁵

²² But ye are come vnto the mount Sion, and to the citie of the liuing God, the celestiall Hierusalem, and to ye company of innumerable Angels, ²³ And to the assemblie and congregation of the first borne, which are written in heauen, and to God the iudge of all, and to the spirits of iust and perfite men, ²⁴ And to Iesus the Mediatour of the new Testament, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things then that of Abel.

⁶ But the Scripture offereth more grace, and therefore sayth, God resisteth the proude, and giueth grace to the humble. ⁷ Submit your selues to God: resist the deuill, and he will flee from you.

¹ Then I looked, and lo, a Lambe stood on mount Sion, and with him an hundreth, fourtie and foure thousand, hauing his Fathers Name written in their foreheads. ² And I heard a voyce from heauen, as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of a great thunder: and I heard the voyce of harpers harping with their harpes. ³ And they sung as it were a newe song before the throne, and before the foure beasts, and the Elders: and no man could learne that song, but the hundreth, fourtie and foure thousand, which were bought from the earth. ⁴ These are they, which are not defiled with women: for they are virgins: these follow the Lambe whithersoeuer he goeth: these are bought from men, being the first fruites vnto God, and to the Lambe. ⁵ And in their mouthes was found no guile: for they are without spot before the throne of God.
