⁶ Let not them that trust in thee, O Lord God of hostes, be ashamed for me: let not those that seeke thee, be confounded through mee, O God of Israel.

³ The God of Israel spake to me, ye strength of Israel saide, Thou shalt beare rule ouer men, being iust, and ruling in the feare of God.

⁷ So shall the Congregation of the people compasse thee about: for their sakes therefore returne on hie.

³ So all that hope in thee, shall not be ashamed: but let them be confounded, that transgresse without cause.

²⁶ Let them bee confounded, and put to shame together, that reioyce at mine hurt: let them bee clothed with confusion and shame, that lift vp themselues against me.

¹⁸ Blessed be the Lord God, euen the God of Israel, which onely doeth wonderous things.

²³ And Kings shalbe thy nourcing fathers, and Queenes shalbe thy nources: they shall worship thee with their faces towarde the earth, and licke vp the dust of thy feete: and thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that waite for me.

¹⁹ And he said vnto them, What things? And they sayd vnto him, Of Iesus of Nazareth, which was a Prophet, mightie in deede and in word before God, and all people, ²⁰ And howe the hie Priests, and our rulers deliuered him to be condemned to death, and haue crucified him. ²¹ But we trusted that it had bene he that should haue deliuered Israel, and as touching all these things, to day is ye third day, that they were done.

⁷ And whe they had set them before them, they asked, By what power, or in what Name haue ye done this?

¹⁷ The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt in the land of Egypt, and with an high arme brought them out thereof.

²³ Of this mans seede hath God according to his promise raised vp to Israel, ye Sauiour Iesus:
