³¹ Then shall the princes come out of Egypt: Ethiopia shall hast to stretche her hands vnto God.

²² Then Salomon stoode before the altar of the Lord in the sight of all the Congregation of Israel, and stretched out his handes towarde heauen,

²⁰ If wee haue forgotten the Name of our God, and holden vp our hands to a strange god,

⁸ His dominion shall be also from sea to sea, and from the Riuer vnto the endes of the land. ⁹ They that dwell in ye wildernes, shall kneele before him, and his enemies shall licke the dust. ¹⁰ The Kings of Tarshish and of the yles shall bring presents: the Kings of Sheba and Seba shall bring giftes. ¹¹ Yea, all Kings shall worship him: all nations shall serue him.

⁹ Mine eye is sorowfull through mine affliction: Lord, I call dayly vpon thee: I stretch out mine hands vnto thee.

⁶ I stretch forth mine hands vnto thee: my soule desireth after thee, as the thirstie land. Selah.

¹⁸ In that day shall fiue cities in the lande of Egypt speake the language of Canaan, and shall sweare by the Lord of hostes. one shall be called the citie of destruction. ¹⁹ In that day shall the altar of the Lord be in the middes of the land of Egypt, and a pillar by the border thereof vnto the Lord. ²⁰ And it shall be for a signe and for a witnes vnto the Lord of hostes in the land of Egypt: for they shall crie vnto the Lord, because of the oppressers, and he shall send them a Sauiour and a great man, and shall deliuer them. ²¹ And the Lord shall be knowen of the Egyptians, and the Egyptians shall knowe the Lord in that day, and doe sacrifice and oblation, and shall vowe vowes vnto the Lord, and performe them. ²² So ye Lord shall smite Egypt, he shall smite and heale it: for he shall returne vnto ye Lord, and he shall be intreated of them and shall heale them. ²³ In that day shall there be a path from Egypt to Asshur, and Asshur shall come into Egypt, and Egypt into Asshur: so the Egyptians shall worship with Asshur. ²⁴ In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and Asshur, euen a blessing in the middes of the land. ²⁵ For the Lord of hostes shall blesse it, saying, Blessed be my people Egypt and Asshur, the worke of mine hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

¹⁴ Thus sayth the Lord, The labour of Egypt, and the marchandise of Ethiopia, and of the Sabeans, men of stature shall come vnto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall follow thee, and shall goe in chaines: they shall fall downe before thee, and make supplication vnto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee, and there is none other God besides.

⁶ The multitude of camels shall couer thee: and the dromedaries of Midian and of Ephah: all they of Sheba shall come: they shall bring golde and incense, and shewe foorth the prayses of the Lord. ⁷ All the sheepe of Kedar shall be gathered vnto thee: the rammes of Nebaioth shall serue thee: they shall come vp to bee accepted vpon mine altar: and I will beautifie the house of my glorie.

¹⁹ And I will set a signe among them, and will send those that escape of them, vnto the nations of Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, and to them that drawe the bowe, to Tubal and Tauan, yles afarre off, that haue not heard my fame, neither haue seene my glorie, and they shall declare my glorie among the Gentiles.

¹⁰ From beyonde the riuers of Ethiopia, the daughter of my dispersed, praying vnto me, shall bring me an offering.

²⁷ And hee arose and went on: and beholde, a certaine Eunuche of Ethiopia, Candaces the Queene of the Ethiopians chiefe Gouernour, who had the rule of all her treasure, and came to Hierusalem to worship: ²⁸ And as he returned sitting in his charet, he read Esaias the Prophet. ²⁹ Then the Spirit said vnto Philip, Goe neere and ioyne thy selfe to yonder charet. ³⁰ And Philip ranne thither, and heard him reade the Prophet Esaias, and said, But vnderstandest thou what thou readest? ³¹ And he saide, Howe can I, except I had a guide? And he desired Philip, that he would come vp and sit with him. ³² Nowe the place of the Scripture which he read, was this, Hee was lead as a sheepe to the slaughter: and like a lambe domme before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth. ³³ In his humilitie his iudgement hath bene exalted: but who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. ³⁴ Then the Eunuche answered Philippe, and saide, I pray thee of whome speaketh the Prophet this? of himselfe, or of some other man? ³⁵ Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same Scripture, and preached vnto him Iesus. ³⁶ And as they went on their way, they came vnto a certaine water, and the Eunuche said, See, here is water: what doeth let me to be baptized? ³⁷ And Philippe said vnto him, If thou beleeuest with all thine heart, thou mayest. Then he answered, and saide, I beleeue that that Iesus Christ is that Sonne of God. ³⁸ Then he commanded the charet to stand stil: and they went downe both into the water, both Philip and the Eunuche, and he baptized him. ³⁹ And assoone as they were come vp out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the Eunuche sawe him no more: so he went on his way reioycing. ⁴⁰ But Philippe was found at Azotus, and he walked to and from preaching in all the cities, till he came to Cesarea.
