Then his seruant sayde vnto him, Alas master, howe shall we doe? ¹⁶ And he answered, Feare not: for they that be with vs, are moe then they that be with them. ¹⁷ Then Elisha prayed, and saide, Lord, I beseech thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the seruant, and he looked, and beholde, the mountaine was full of horses and charets of fyre round about Elisha.

The Lord is my light and my saluation, whom shall I feare? the Lord is the strength of my life, of whome shall I be afraide? ² When the wicked, euen mine enemies and my foes came vpon mee to eate vp my flesh; they stumbled and fell. ³ Though an hoste pitched against me, mine heart should not be afraide: though warre be raised against me, I will trust in this.

² Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.
