²⁴ Though he fall, hee shall not be cast off: for the Lord putteth vnder his hand.

¹⁹ Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all. ²⁰ He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

¹⁷ For the armes of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord vpholdeth the iust men.

² Hee brought mee also out of the horrible pit, out of the myrie clay, and set my feete vpon the rocke, and ordered my goings.

¹² They shall beare thee in their handes, that thou hurt not thy foote against a stone.

¹⁸ When I said, My foote slideth, thy mercy, O Lord, stayed me.

³¹ And the Lord saide, Simon, Simon, beholde, Satan hath desired you, to winowe you as wheate. ³² But I haue prayed for thee, that thy faith faile not: therefore when thou art conuerted, strengthen thy brethren.

And immediatly while hee yet spake, the cocke crewe. ⁶¹ Then the Lord turned backe, and looked vpon Peter: and Peter remembred the worde of the Lord, how he had said vnto him, Before the cocke crowe, thou shalt denie me thrise. ⁶² And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

²⁷ My sheepe heare my voyce, and I knowe them, and they follow me, ²⁸ And I giue vnto them eternall life, and they shall neuer perish, neither shall any plucke them out of mine hand. ²⁹ My Father which gaue them me, is greater then all, and none is able to take them out of my Fathers hand. ³⁰ I and my Father are one.
