³ So all that hope in thee, shall not be ashamed: but let them be confounded, that transgresse without cause.

¹³ Zebulun shall dwell by the sea side, and he shalbe an hauen for shippes: and his border shalbe vnto Zidon.

¹⁰ All mine enemies shall be confounded and sore vexed: they shall be turned backe, and put to shame suddenly.

⁴ If I haue rewarded euill vnto him that had peace with mee, (yea I haue deliuered him that vexed me without cause) ⁵ Then let the enemie persecute my soule and take it: yea, let him treade my life downe vpon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

¹⁴ Hope in the Lord: be strong, and he shall comfort thine heart, and trust in the Lord.

¹⁷ Let me not be confounded, O Lord: for I haue called vpon thee: let the wicked bee put to confusion, and to silence in the graue.

²⁰ Our soule waiteth for the Lord: for he is our helpe and our shielde.

²⁶ Let them bee confounded, and put to shame together, that reioyce at mine hurt: let them bee clothed with confusion and shame, that lift vp themselues against me.

I Waited paciently for the Lord, and he inclined vnto me, and heard my cry. ² Hee brought mee also out of the horrible pit, out of the myrie clay, and set my feete vpon the rocke, and ordered my goings. ³ And he hath put in my mouth a new song of praise vnto our God: many shall see it and feare, and shall trust in the Lord.

¹⁴ Let them be confounded and put to shame together, that seeke my soule to destroye it: let them be driuen backward and put to rebuke, that desire mine hurt. ¹⁵ Let them be destroyed for a rewarde of their shame, which say vnto me, Aha, aha.

² Deliuer me from the wicked doers, and saue me from the bloody men. ³ For loe, they haue layd waite for my soule: the mightie men are gathered against me, not for mine offence, nor for my sinne, O Lord. ⁴ They runne and prepare themselues without a fault on my part: arise therefore to assist me, and beholde. ⁵ Euen thou, O Lord God of hostes, O God of Israel awake to visit all the heathen, and be not merciful vnto all that transgresse maliciously. ⁵ Yet my soule keepe thou silence vnto God: for mine hope is in him.

⁴ They that hate mee without a cause, are moe then the heares of mine heade: they that would destroy mee, and are mine enemies falsly, are mightie, so that I restored that which I tooke not.

⁶ Let not them that trust in thee, O Lord God of hostes, be ashamed for me: let not those that seeke thee, be confounded through mee, O God of Israel.

² Let them be confounded and put to shame, that seeke my soule: let them bee turned backewarde and put to rebuke, that desire mine hurt. ³ Let them be turned backe for a rewarde of their shame, which said, Aha, aha.

¹³ Let them be confounded and consumed that are against my soule: let them be couered with reproofe and confusion, that seeke mine hurt.

³ They compassed me about also with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.

⁷⁸ Let the proude be ashamed: for they haue dealt wickedly and falsely with me: but I meditate in thy precepts.

² Behold, as the eyes of seruants looke vnto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a mayden vnto the hand of her mistres: so our eyes waite vpon the Lord our God vntil he haue mercie vpon vs.

¹⁸ His enemies will I clothe with shame, but on him his crowne shall florish.

⁹ And in that day shall men say, Loe, this is our God: we haue waited for him, and he wil saue vs. This is the Lord, we haue waited for him: we will reioyce and be ioyfull in his saluation.

³¹ But they that waite vpon the Lord, shall renue their strength: they shall lift vp the wings as the eagles: they shall runne, and not be wearie, and they shall walke and not faint.

²³ And Kings shalbe thy nourcing fathers, and Queenes shalbe thy nources: they shall worship thee with their faces towarde the earth, and licke vp the dust of thy feete: and thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that waite for me.

¹¹ But the Lord is with me like a mightie gyant: therefore my persecuters shall be ouerthrowen, and shall not preuaile, and shalbe greatly confounded: for they haue done vnwisely, and their euerlasting shame shall neuer be forgotten.

²⁵ The Lord is good vnto them, that trust in him, and to the soule that seeketh him.

⁷ Therefore I will looke vnto the Lord: I will waite for God my Sauiour: my God will heare me.

²⁵ But it is that the worde might be fulfilled, that is written in their Lawe, They hated me without a cause.

²⁵ But if we hope for that we see not, we doe with patience abide for it.
