¹ A Psalme of David. The Lord is my shepheard, I shall not want. ² He maketh me to rest in greene pasture, and leadeth me by the still waters. ³ He restoreth my soule, and leadeth me in the paths of righteousnesse for his Names sake. ⁴ Yea, though I should walke through the valley of the shadowe of death, I will feare no euill: for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staffe, they comfort me. ⁵ Thou doest prepare a table before me in the sight of mine aduersaries: thou doest anoynt mine head with oyle, and my cuppe runneth ouer. ⁶ Doubtlesse kindnesse and mercie shall follow me all the dayes of my life, and I shall remaine a long season in the house of the Lord.

⁵ But let darkenesse, and the shadowe of death staine it: let the cloude remayne vpon it, and let them make it fearefull as a bitter day.

²¹ Before I goe and shall not returne, euen to the land of darkenesse and shadow of death: ²² Into a land, I say, darke as darknes it selfe, and into the shadow of death, where is none order, but the light is there as darkenesse.

¹⁷ But the morning is euen to them as the shadow of death: if one knowe them, they are in the terrours of the shadowe of death.

³⁰ That he may turne backe his soule from the pit, to be illuminate in the light of the liuing.

²⁹ And when he giueth quietnesse, who can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who can beholde him, whether it be vpon nations, or vpon a man onely?

¹⁶ Euen so woulde he haue taken thee out of the streight place into a broade place and not shut vp beneath: and that which resteth vpon thy table, had bene full of fat.

⁶ I will not be afrayde for ten thousand of the people, that should beset me round about.

⁸ Leade me, O Lord, in thy righteousnes, because of mine enemies: make thy way plaine before my face.

⁵ There they shall be taken with feare, because God is in the generation of the iust.

⁵ The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou shalt mainteine my lot.

¹¹ Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is the fulnesse of ioy: and at thy right hand there are pleasures for euermore.

⁷ The Lawe of the Lord is perfite, conuerting the soule: the testimonie of the Lord is sure, and giueth wisedome vnto the simple.

⁴ He asked life of thee, and thou gauest him a long life for euer and euer.

²⁶ The poore shall eate and be satisfied: they that seeke after the Lord, shall prayse him: your heart shall liue for euer.

²⁹ All they that be fat in the earth, shall eate and worship: all they that go downe into the dust, shall bowe before him, euen he that cannot quicken his owne soule.

¹ A Psalme of David. The Lord is my light and my saluation, whom shall I feare? the Lord is the strength of my life, of whome shall I be afraide? ² When the wicked, euen mine enemies and my foes came vpon mee to eate vp my flesh; they stumbled and fell. ³ Though an hoste pitched against me, mine heart should not be afraide: though warre be raised against me, I will trust in this. ⁴ One thing haue I desired of the Lord, that I will require, euen that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the dayes of my life, to beholde the beautie of the Lord, and to visite his Temple.

¹¹ Thou hast turned my mourning into ioy: thou hast loosed my sacke and girded mee with gladnesse. ¹² Therefore shall my tongue praise thee and not cease: O Lord my God, I will giue thankes vnto thee for euer.

³ For thou art my rocke and my fortresse: therefore for thy Names sake direct mee and guide me.

¹⁹ Howe great is thy goodnesse, which thou hast layde vp for them, that feare thee! and done to them, that trust in thee, euen before the sonnes of men! ²⁰ Thou doest hide them priuily in thy presence from the pride of men: thou keepest them secretly in thy Tabernacle from the strife of tongues.

³ Praise ye the Lord with me, and let vs magnifie his Name together.

⁹ Feare the Lord, ye his Saintes: for nothing wanteth to them that feare him. ¹⁰ The lyons doe lacke and suffer hunger, but they, which seeke the Lord, shall want nothing that is good.

⁷ How excellent is thy mercy, O God! therefore the children of men trust vnder the shadowe of thy wings. ⁸ They shall be satisfied with the fatnesse of thine house, and thou shalt giue them drinke out of the riuer of thy pleasures. ⁹ For with thee is the well of life, and in thy light shall we see light. ¹⁰ Extend thy louing kindnes vnto them that knowe thee, and thy righteousnesse vnto them that are vpright in heart.

¹⁹ Albeit thou hast smitten vs downe into the place of dragons, and couered vs with the shadow of death.

⁷ Thou louest righteousnes, and hatest wickednesse, because God, euen thy God hath anoynted thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy fellowes.

¹ To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found. ² Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea. ³ Though the waters thereof rage and be troubled, and the mountaines shake at the surges of the same. Selah, ⁴ Yet there is a Riuer, whose streames shall make glad the citie of God: euen the Sanctuarie of the Tabernacles of the most High.

¹¹ The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. Selah.

¹⁰ Create in mee a cleane heart, O God, and renue a right spirit within me.

¹² Restore to me the ioy of thy saluation, and stablish me with thy free Spirit.

²⁴ Thou wilt guide me by thy counsell, and afterward receiue me to glory. ²⁵ Whom haue I in heauen but thee? and I haue desired none in the earth with thee. ²⁶ My flesh fayleth and mine heart also: but God is the strength of mine heart, and my portion for euer.

¹⁹ They spake against God also, saying, Can God prepare a table in the wildernesse?

⁵² But hee made his people to goe out like sheepe, and led them in the wildernes like a flocke.

⁹ Helpe vs, O God of our saluation, for the glorie of thy Name, and deliuer vs, and be mercifull vnto our sinnes for thy Names sake.

¹³ So wee thy people, and sheepe of thy pasture shall praise thee for euer: and from generation to generation we will set foorth thy praise.

¹¹ For the Lord God is the sunne and shielde vnto vs: the Lord will giue grace and glory, and no good thing will he withhold from them that walke vprightly.

⁴ Turne vs, O God of our saluation, and release thine anger toward vs. ⁵ Wilt thou be angry with vs for euer? and wilt thou prolong thy wrath from one generation to another? ⁶ Wilt thou not turne againe and quicken vs, that thy people may reioyce in thee? ⁷ Shew vs thy mercie, O Lord, and graunt vs thy saluation.

¹³ Righteousnesse shall go before him, and shall set her steps in the way.

¹⁰ But thou shalt exalt mine horne, like the vnicornes, and I shalbe anoynted with fresh oyle.

¹⁷ But the louing kindnesse of the Lord endureth for euer and euer vpon them that feare him, and his righteousnes vpon childrens children,

¹⁵ And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oyle to make the face to shine, and bread that strengtheneth mans heart.

² The Lord shall send the rod of thy power out of Zion: be thou ruler in the middes of thine enemies.

¹³ I will take the cup of saluation, and call vpon the Name of the Lord.

⁶ The Lord is with mee: therefore I will not feare what man can doe vnto me.

¹⁷⁶ I haue gone astraye like a lost sheepe: seeke thy seruant, for I doe not forget thy commandements.

⁷ Though I walke in the middes of trouble, yet wilt thou reuiue me: thou wilt stretch foorth thine hand vpon the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall saue me.

⁸ Let me heare thy louing kindenes in the morning, for in thee is my trust: shewe mee the way, that I should walke in, for I lift vp my soule vnto thee. ⁹ Deliuer me, O Lord, from mine enemies: for I hid me with thee. ¹⁰ Teach me to doe thy will, for thou art my God: let thy good Spirit leade me vnto the land of righteousnes.

¹¹ I haue taught thee in ye way of wisedom, and led thee in the pathes of righteousnesse.

²⁰ I cause to walke in the way of righteousnes, and in the middes of the paths of iudgement,

⁶ Because this people hath refused the waters of Shiloah that runne softly, and reioyce with Rezin, and the sonne of Remaliah,

⁹ Gather together on heapes, O ye people, and ye shalbe broken in pieces, and hearken all ye of farre countreys: gird your selues, and you shalbe broken in pieces: gird your selues, and you shalbe broken in pieces. ¹⁰ Take counsell together, yet it shall be brought to nought: pronounce a decree, yet shall it not stand: for God is with vs.

⁶ And in this mountaine shall the Lord of hostes make vnto all people a feast of fat thinges, euen a feast of fined wines, and of fat thinges full of marow, of wines fined and purified.

²³ Then shall hee giue raine vnto thy seede, when thou shalt sowe the ground, and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shalbe fat and as oyle: in that day shall thy cattell be fed in large pastures.

¹¹ He shall feede his flocke like a shepheard: he shall gather the lambes with his arme, and cary them in his bosome, and shall guide them with young.

¹⁰ Feare thou not, for I am with thee: be not afraide, for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, and helpe thee, and will susteine thee with the right hand of my iustice.

¹⁶ And I will bring the blinde by a way, that they knewe not, and lead them by paths that they haue not knowen: I will make darkenesse light before them, and crooked thinges straight. These thinges will I doe vnto them, and not forsake them.

¹ But nowe thus sayeth the Lord, that created thee, O Iaakob: and hee that formed thee, O Israel, Feare not: for I haue redeemed thee: I haue called thee by thy name, thou art mine. ² When thou passest through the waters, I wil be with thee, and through the floods, that they doe not ouerflowe thee. When thou walkest through the very fire, thou shalt not be burnt, neither shall the flame kindle vpon thee.

⁹ That thou maiest say to the prisoners, Goe foorth: and to them that are in darkenesse, Shewe your selues: they shall feede in the waies, and their pastures shall bee in all the toppes of the hilles. ¹⁰ They shall not be hungrie, neither shall they be thirstie, neither shall the heat smite them, nor the sunne: for he that hath compassion on them, shall leade them: euen to the springs of waters shall he driue them.

⁶ For they saide not, Where is the Lord that brought vs vp out of the lande of Egypt? that led vs through the wildernesse, through a desert, and waste land, through a drie land, and by the shadow of death, by a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?

³ And I will gather the remnant of my sheepe out of all countreyes, whither I had driuen them, and will bring them againe to their foldes, and they shall growe and encrease. ⁴ And I will set vp shepheardes ouer them, which shall feede them: and they shall dread no more nor be afraide, neither shall any of them be lacking, saith the Lord.

⁸ Beholde, I will bring them from the North countrey, and gather them from the coastes of the world, with the blinde and the lame among them, with the woman with childe, and her that is deliuered also: a great companie shall returne hither.

¹⁰ Heare the worde of the Lord, O ye Gentiles, and declare in the yles afarre off, and say, Hee that scattered Israel, wil gather him and wil keepe him, as a shepheard doeth his flocke.

³⁷ Beholde, I will gather them out of all countreys, wherein I haue scattered them in mine anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation, and I wil bring them againe vnto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. ³⁸ And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. ³⁹ And I wil giue them one heart and one way that they may feare me for euer for ye wealth of them, and of their children after them. ⁴⁰ And I wil make an euerlasting couenant with them, that I wil neuer turne away from them to doe them good, but I wil put my feare in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. ⁴¹ Yea, I wil delite in them to do them good, and I wil plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart, and with all my soule. ⁴² For thus sayth the Lord, Like as I haue brought all this great plague vpon this people, so wil I bring vpon them all the good that I haue promised them.

¹⁴ But I had respect to my Name, that it shoulde not bee polluted before the heathen in whose sight I brought them out.

¹¹ For thus sayeth the Lord God, Beholde, I will search my sheepe, and seeke them out. ¹² As a shepherd searcheth out his flocke, when he hath bene among his sheepe that are scattered, so wil I seeke out my sheepe and wil deliuer them out of all places, where they haue beene scattered in the cloudie and darke day, ¹³ And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countreis, and will bring them to their owne lande, and feede them vpon the mountaines of Israel, by the riuers, and in all the inhabited places of the countrey. ¹⁴ I will feede them in a good pasture, and vpon the hie mountaines of Israel shall their folde be: there shall they lie in a good folde and in fat pasture shall they feede vpon the mountaines of Israel.

²³ And I wil set vp a shepherd ouer them, and he shall feede them, euen my seruant Dauid, he shall feede them, and he shalbe their shepherd. ²⁴ And I the Lord will be their God, and my seruant Dauid shalbe the prince amog them. I the Lord haue spoken it.

⁴ Asshur shall not saue vs, neither wil we ride vpon horses, neither will we say any more to the worke of our handes, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherlesse findeth mercie. ⁵ I wil heale their rebellion: I wil loue them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. ⁶ I will be as the dewe vnto Israel: he shall grow as the lilie and fasten his rootes, as the trees of Lebanon. ⁷ His branches shall spread, and his beautie shalbe as the oliue tree, and his smell as Lebanon. ⁸ They that dwel vnder his shadow, shall returne: they shall reuiue as the corne, and florish as the vine: the sent thereof shalbe as the wine of Lebanon. ⁹ Ephraim shall say, What haue I to doe any more with idoles? I haue heard him, and looked vpon him: I am like a greene firre tree: vpon me is thy fruite founde. [ (Hosea 14:10) Who is wise, and he shall vnderstande these things? and prudent, and he shall knowe them? for the wayes of the Lord are righteous, and the iust shall walke in them: but the wicked shall fall therein. ]

⁶ They drinke wine in bowles, and anoynt themselues with the chiefe ointments, but no man is sory for the affliction of Ioseph.

² And thou Beth-leem Ephrathah art litle to bee among the thousandes of Iudah, yet out of thee shall he come forth vnto me, that shalbe the ruler in Israel: whose goings forth haue bene from the beginning and from euerlasting.

⁴ And he shall stand, and feed in the strength of the Lord, and in the maiestie of the Name of the Lord his God, and they shall dwel still: for now shall he be magnified vnto the ends of the world.

⁸ Reioyce not against me, O mine enemie: though I fall, I shall arise: when I shall sit in darkenesse, the Lord shalbe a light vnto me. ⁹ I will beare the wrath of the Lord because I haue sinned against him, vntill he pleade my cause, and execute iudgement for me: then will he bring me foorth to the light, and I shall see his righteousnesse.

¹⁴ Feed thy people with thy rod, the flocke of thine heritage (which dwell solitarie in the wood) as in the middes of Carmel: let them feede in Bashan and Gilead, as in olde time.

¹⁸ Who is a God like vnto thee, that taketh away iniquitie, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage! He reteineth not his wrath for euer, because mercie pleaseth him. ¹⁹ He will turne againe, and haue compassion vpon vs: he will subdue our iniquities, and cast all their sinnes into the bottome of the sea.

²³ Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, In those dayes shall ten men take holde out of all languages of the nations, euen take holde of the skirt of him that is a Iewe, and say, We will go with you: for we haue heard that God is with you.

¹⁰ And I tooke my staffe, euen Beautie, and brake it, that I might disanull my couenant, which I had made with all people.

¹⁴ Then brake I mine other staffe, euen the Bandes, that I might dissolue the brotherhood betweene Iudah and Israel.

²³ Behold, a virgine shalbe with childe, and shall beare a sonne, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which is by interpretation, God with vs.

¹⁷ But when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face,

³³ But seeke ye first the kingdome of God, and his righteousnesse, and all these things shall be ministred vnto you.

²⁰ Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, vntill the ende of the worlde, Amen.

⁷⁹ To giue light to them that sit in darknes, and in the shadow of death, and to guide our feete into the way of peace.

⁴⁶ Mine head with oyle thou didest not anoint: but she hath anoynted my feete with oyntment.

³⁰ For all such things the people of the world seeke for: and your Father knoweth that ye haue neede of these things. ³¹ But rather seeke ye after the kingdome of God, and all these things shalbe cast vpon you. ³² Feare not, litle flocke: for it is your Fathers pleasure, to giue you the kingdome.

³¹ And the Lord saide, Simon, Simon, beholde, Satan hath desired you, to winowe you as wheate. ³² But I haue prayed for thee, that thy faith faile not: therefore when thou art conuerted, strengthen thy brethren.

⁵³ Then Iesus saide vnto them, Verely, verely I say vnto you, Except yee eate the flesh of the Sonne of man, and drinke his blood, yee haue no life in you. ⁵⁴ Whosoeuer eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternall life, and I will raise him vp at the last day. ⁵⁵ For my flesh is meat in deede, and my blood is drinke in deede. ⁵⁶ Hee that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

⁹ I am that doore: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saued, and shall go in, and go out, and finde pasture. ¹⁰ The theefe commeth not, but for to steale, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might haue life, and haue it in abundance. ¹¹ I am that good shepheard: that good shepheard giueth his life for his sheepe.

¹⁴ I am that good shepheard, and knowe mine, and am knowen of mine.

²⁷ My sheepe heare my voyce, and I knowe them, and they follow me, ²⁸ And I giue vnto them eternall life, and they shall neuer perish, neither shall any plucke them out of mine hand. ²⁹ My Father which gaue them me, is greater then all, and none is able to take them out of my Fathers hand. ³⁰ I and my Father are one.

²² And ye nowe therefore are in sorowe: but I will see you againe, and your hearts shall reioyce, and your ioy shall no man take from you.

⁹ Then saide the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Feare not, but speake, and holde not thy peace. ¹⁰ For I am with thee, and no man shall lay handes on thee to hurt thee: for I haue much people in this citie.

³² Who spared not his owne Sonne, but gaue him for vs all to death, how shall he not with him giue vs all things also?

¹⁶ The cup of blessing which we blesse, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we breake, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

⁵⁵ O death where is thy sting? O graue where is thy victorie? ⁵⁶ The sting of death is sinne: and ye strength of sinne is the Lawe. ⁵⁷ But thankes be vnto God, which hath giuen vs victorie through our Lord Iesus Christ.

¹⁰ Who deliuered vs from so great a death, and doeth deliuer vs: in whom we trust, that yet hereafter he will deliuer vs,

²¹ And it is God which stablisheth vs with you in Christ, and hath anoynted vs.

¹ For we knowe that if our earthly house of this tabernacle be destroyed, we haue a building giuen of God, that is, an house not made with handes, but eternall in the heauens.

⁶ To the prayse of the glory of his grace, wherewith he hath made vs freely accepted in his beloued,

²⁰ Vnto him therefore that is able to do exceeding aboundantly aboue all that we aske or thinke, according to the power that worketh in vs,

²³ For I am distressed betweene both, desiring to be loosed and to be with Christ, which is best of all.

¹⁹ And my God shall fulfill all your necessities through his riches with glorie in Iesus Christ.

¹⁸ And the Lord will deliuer me from euery euil worke, and will preserue me vnto his heauenly kingdome: to whome be praise for euer and euer, Amen.

²² The Lord Iesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you, Amen.

⁵ Let your conuersation be without couetousnesse, and be content with those things that ye haue, for he hath said, ⁶ I will not faile thee, neither forsake thee:

²⁰ The God of peace that brought againe from the dead our Lord Iesus, the great shepheard of the sheepe, through the blood of the euerlasting Couenant,

²⁵ For ye were as sheepe going astray: but are nowe returned vnto the shepheard and Bishop of your soules.

⁴ And when that chiefe shepheard shall appeare, ye shall receiue an incorruptible crowne of glory.

²⁰ But ye haue an ointment from that Holy one, and know all things.

²⁷ But that anointing which ye receiued of him, dwelleth in you: and ye neede not that any man teach you: but as the same Anoynting teacheth you of all things, and it is true, and is not lying, and as it taught you, ye shall abide in him.

¹⁹ As many as I loue, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and amend.

¹⁷ For the Lambe, which is in the middes of the throne, shall gouerne them, and shall leade them vnto the liuely fountaines of waters, and God shall wipe away all teares from their eyes.

⁶ And he said vnto me, It is done, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ende. I wil giue to him that is a thirst, of the well of the water of life freely.

¹ And hee shewed me a pure riuer of water of life, cleare as crystall, proceeding out of the throne of God, and of the Lambe.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth, say, Come: and let him that is a thirst, come: and let whosoeuer will, take of the water of life freely.
