³ Thy wife shalbe as the fruitfull vine on the sides of thine house, and thy children like the oliue plantes round about thy table.

²² Ioseph shalbe a fruitefull bough, euen a fruitful bough by the well side: the small boughs shall runne vpon the wall.

⁸ But I shall bee like a greene oliue tree in the house of God: for I trusted in the mercie of God for euer and euer.

⁵ Blessed is the man, that hath his quiuer full of them: for they shall not be ashamed, when they speake with their enemies in the gate.

¹² That our sonnes may be as the plantes growing vp in their youth, and our daughters as the corner stones, grauen after the similitude of a palace:

¹⁵ Drinke the water of thy cisterne, and of the riuers out of the middes of thine owne well. ¹⁶ Let thy fountaines flow foorth, and the riuers of waters in the streetes. ¹⁷ But let them bee thine, euen thine onely, and not the strangers with thee. ¹⁸ Let thy fountaine be blessed, and reioyce with the wife of thy youth.

¹⁶ The Lord called thy name, A greene oliue tree, faire, and of goodly fruite: but with noyse and great tumult he hath set fyre vpon it, and the branches of it are broken.

¹⁰ Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she brought foorth fruite and branches by the abundant waters,

⁶ I will be as the dewe vnto Israel: he shall grow as the lilie and fasten his rootes, as the trees of Lebanon. ⁷ His branches shall spread, and his beautie shalbe as the oliue tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

²⁴ For if thou wast cut out of the Oliue tree, which was wilde by nature, and wast graffed contrary to nature in a right Oliue tree, how much more shall they that are by nature, bee graffed in their owne Oliue tree?
