²⁵ DALETH. My soule cleaueth to the dust: quicken me according to thy worde.

⁶ And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seede, that thou mayest loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with al thy soule, that thou maiest liue.

²⁷ For thou, O Lord of hostes, God of Israel, hast reueiled vnto thy seruant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy seruant bene bold to pray this prayer vnto thee. ²⁸ Therefore now, O Lord God, (for thou art God, and thy words be true, and thou hast tolde this goodnes vnto thy seruant) ²⁹ Therefore nowe let it please thee to blesse the house of thy seruant, that it may continue for euer before thee: for thou, O Lord God, hast spoken it: and let the house of thy seruant be blessed for euer, with thy blessing.

¹⁵ My strength is dryed vp like a potsheard, and my tongue cleaueth to my iawes, and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

²⁵ For our soule is beaten downe vnto the dust: our belly cleaueth vnto the ground.

²⁰ Which hast shewed me great troubles and aduersities, but thou wilt returne, and reuiue me, and wilt come againe, and take mee vp from the depth of the earth.

¹⁸ So will not we goe backe from thee: reuiue thou vs, and we shall call vpon thy Name.

³⁷ Turne away mine eies from regarding vanitie, and quicken me in thy way.

⁴⁰ Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,

⁸⁸ Quicken me according to thy louing kindnes: so shall I keepe the testimony of thy mouth.

⁹³ I wil neuer forget thy precepts: for by them thou hast quickened me.

¹⁰⁷ I am very sore afflicted: O Lord, quicken me according to thy word.

¹⁴⁹ Heare my voyce according to thy louing kindenesse: O Lord, quicken me according to thy iudgement.

¹⁵⁶ Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy iudgements.

¹¹ Quicken me, O Lord, for thy Names sake, and for thy righteousnesse bring my soule out of trouble.

²⁵ The wolfe and the lambe shall feede together, and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke: and to the serpent dust shall be his meate. They shall no more hurt nor destroy in all mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord.

²³ Then he turned backe, and said vnto Peter, Get thee behinde me, Satan: thou art an offence vnto me, because thou vnderstandest not the thinges that are of God, but the thinges that are of men.

²² For I delite in the Law of God, concerning the inner man: ²³ But I see another Law in my members, rebelling against the Lawe of my minde, and leading me captiue vnto the lawe of sinne, which is in my members. ²⁴ O wretched man that I am, who shall deliuer me from the body of this death!

² For the Lawe of the Spirite of life, which is in Christ Iesus, hath freed mee from the lawe of sinne and of death. ³ For (that that was impossible to ye Lawe, in as much as it was weake, because of ye flesh) God sending his owne Sonne, in ye similitude of sinful flesh, and for sinne, condened sinne in the flesh,

¹⁹ Whose ende is damnation, whose God is their bellie, and whose glorie is to their shame, which minde earthly things.

² Set your affections on things which are aboue, and not on things which are on the earth.
