¹⁶⁹ TAV. Let my complaint come before thee, O Lord, and giue me vnderstanding, according vnto thy worde.

¹² Onely the Lord giue thee wisedome and vnderstanding, and giue thee charge ouer Israel, euen to keepe the Lawe of the Lord thy God.

¹⁰ Giue me now wisdome and knowledge, that I may go out and go in before this people: for who can iudge this thy great people?

²⁷ Then the Priests and the Leuites arose, and blessed the people, and their voyce was heard, and their prayer came vp vnto heauen, to his holy habitation.

⁶ But in my trouble did I call vpon the Lord, and cryed vnto my God: he heard my voyce out of his Temple, and my crye did come before him, euen into his eares.

¹⁴⁴ The righteousnes of thy testimonies is euerlasting: graunt me vnderstanding, and I shall liue. ¹⁴⁵ KOPH. I haue cried with my whole heart: heare me, O Lord, and I will keepe thy statutes.

³ (For if thou callest after knowledge, and cryest for vnderstanding: ⁴ If thou seekest her as siluer, and searchest for her as for treasures, ⁵ Then shalt thou vnderstand the feare of the Lord, and finde the knowledge of God.

²¹ And hee changeth the times and seasons: he taketh away kings: he setteth vp kings: he giueth wisedome vnto the wise, and vnderstanding to those that vnderstand.

⁵ If any of you lacke wisedome, let him aske of God, which giueth to all men liberally, and reprocheth no man, and it shalbe giuen him.
