⁷ Our fathers vnderstoode not thy wonders in Egypt, neither remembred they the multitude of thy mercies, but rebelled at the Sea, euen at the red sea.

¹¹ And they sayde vnto Moses, Hast thou brought vs to die in the wildernes, because there were no graues in Egypt? wherefore hast thou serued vs thus, to carie vs out of Egypt? ¹² Did not wee tell thee this thing in Egypt, saying, Let vs be in rest, that we may serue the Egyptians? for it had bene better for vs to serue the Egyptians, then that wee shoulde dye in the wildernesse.

¹⁵ And remember that thou wast a seruant in the land of Egypt, and the Lord thy God deliuered thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.

⁴ Yet the Lord hath not giuen you an heart to perceiue, and eyes to see, and eares to heare, vnto this day.

²⁸ For they are a nation voide of counsel, neither is there any vnderstanding in them. ²⁹ Oh that they were wise, then they would vnderstand this: they would consider their latter ende.

⁷ But I wil come into thine house in the multitude of thy mercie: and in thy feare will I worship toward thine holy Temple.

¹ To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David, when the Prophet Nathan came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. Have mercie vpon me, O God, according to thy louing kindnes: according to the multitude of thy compassions put away mine iniquities.

¹¹ And forgate his Actes, and his wonderfull woorkes that he had shewed them.

⁴² They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he deliuered them from the enemie,

⁵ Remember his marueilous woorkes, that he hath done, his wonders and the iudgements of his mouth,

⁴⁵ And he remembred his couenant towarde them and repented according to the multitude of his mercies,

²² O ye foolish, howe long will ye loue foolishnes? and the scornefull take their pleasure in scorning, and the fooles hate knowledge?

¹⁸ They haue not knowen, nor vnderstand: for God hath shut their eyes that they cannot see, and their heartes, that they cannot vnderstand.

⁷ I wil remember the mercies of the Lord and the prayses of the Lord according vnto all that the Lord hath giuen vs, and for the great goodnesse toward the house of Israel, which hee hath giuen them according to his tender loue, and according to his great mercies.

³² But though he sende affliction, yet will he haue compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

¹² That they seeing, may see, and not discerne: and they hearing, may heare, and not vnderstand, least at any time they should turne, and their sinnes should be forgiuen them.

¹⁷ And when Iesus knew it, he said vnto them, Why reason you thus, because ye haue no bread? perceiue ye not yet, neither vnderstande? haue ye your hearts yet hardened? ¹⁸ Haue yee eyes, and see not? and haue yee eares, and heare not? and doe ye not remember? ¹⁹ When I brake the fiue loaues among fiue thousand, how many baskets full of broken meate tooke ye vp? They said vnto him, Twelue. ²⁰ And when I brake seuen among foure thousande, howe many baskets of the leauings of broken meate tooke ye vp? And they said, Seuen. ²¹ Then he saide vnto them, Howe is it that ye vnderstand not?

¹¹ Wherefore remember that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, and called vncircumcision of them, which are called circumcision in the flesh, made with hands,

¹⁰ And in al deceiuablenes of vnrighteousnes, among them that perish, because they receiued not the loue of the trueth, that they might be saued. ¹¹ And therefore God shall send them strong delusion, that they should beleeue lies, ¹² That all they might be damned which beleeued not the trueth, but had pleasure in vnrighteousnes.
