⁹ They are all plaine to him that will vnderstande, and streight to them that woulde finde knowledge.

⁷ The Lawe of the Lord is perfite, conuerting the soule: the testimonie of the Lord is sure, and giueth wisedome vnto the simple. ⁸ The statutes of the Lord are right and reioyce the heart: the commandement of the Lord is pure, and giueth light vnto the eyes.

¹² What man is he that feareth the Lord? him wil he teache the way that hee shall chuse. ¹³ His soule shall dwell at ease, and his seede shall inherite the land. ¹⁴ The secrete of the Lord is reueiled to them, that feare him: and his couenant to giue them vnderstanding.

⁹⁸ By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee. ⁹⁹ I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. ¹⁰⁰ I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.

²⁴ The way of life is on high to the prudent, to auoyde from hell beneath.

¹ For the desire thereof hee will separate himselfe to seeke it, and occupie himselfe in all wisdome. ² A foole hath no delite in vnderstanding: but that his heart may be discouered.

¹⁵ A wise heart getteth knowledge, and the eare of the wise seeketh learning.

⁸ And there shalbe a path and a way, and the way shalbe called holy: the polluted shall not passe by it: for he shalbe with them, and walke in the way, and the fooles shall not erre.

⁷ O thou that art named of the house of Iaakob, is the Spirite of the Lord shortened? are these his workes? are not my wordes good vnto him that walketh vprightly?

¹¹ And he answered, and said vnto them, Because it is giuen vnto you, to know the secretes of the kingdome of heauen, but to the it is not giue. ¹² For whosoeuer hath, to him shalbe giuen, and he shall haue abundance: but whosoeuer hath not, from him shalbe taken away, euen that he hath.

¹⁷ If any man will doe his will, he shall knowe of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speake of my selfe.

¹⁴ But the naturall man perceiueth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishnesse vnto him: neither can hee knowe them, because they are spiritually discerned. ¹⁵ But hee that is spirituall, discerneth all things: yet he himselfe is iudged of no man.

⁵ If any of you lacke wisedome, let him aske of God, which giueth to all men liberally, and reprocheth no man, and it shalbe giuen him.
