¹⁴ I haue peace offerings: this day haue I payed my vowes.

¹¹ Furthermore, this is the lawe of the peace offrings, which he shall offer vnto the Lord.

¹⁵ Also the flesh of his peace offerings, for thankesgiuing, shalbe eaten the same day that it is offered: he shall leaue nothing thereof vntill the morning. ¹⁶ But if the sacrifice of his offring be a vow, or a free offering, it shalbe eaten the same day that he offreth his sacrifice: and so in the morning the residue thereof shalbe eaten.

⁶ And ye shall bring thither your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the offring of your hands, and your vowes, and your free offrings, and the first borne of your kine and of your sheepe. ⁷ And there ye shall eate before the Lord your God, and ye shall reioyce in all that yee put your hand vnto, both ye, and your housholdes, because the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.

⁷ And after fourtie yeeres, Absalom sayd vnto the King, I pray thee, let me go to Hebron, and render my vowe which I haue vowed vnto the Lord. ⁸ For thy seruant vowed a vowe when I remayned at Geshur, in Aram, saying, If the Lord shall bring me againe in deede to Ierusalem, I will serue the Lord. ⁹ And the King sayd vnto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.

⁹ And shee wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaime a fast, and set Naboth among the chiefe of the people, ¹⁰ And set two wicked men before him, and let them witnesse against him, saying, Thou diddest blaspheme God and the King: then cary him out, and stone him that he may dye.

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the righteous is acceptable vnto him.

¹ Better is a dry morsell, if peace be with it, then an house full of sacrifices with strife.

²⁷ The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination: how much more when he bringeth it with a wicked minde?
