³² For the frowarde is abomination vnto the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.

⁴ As I was in the dayes of my youth: when Gods prouidence was vpon my tabernacle:

²⁶ With the pure thou wilt shewe thy selfe pure, and with the froward thou wilt shewe thy selfe froward.

¹⁴ The secrete of the Lord is reueiled to them, that feare him: and his couenant to giue them vnderstanding.

⁶ Goe to the pismire, O sluggarde: beholde her waies, and be wise. ⁷ For shee hauing no guide, gouernour, nor ruler, ⁸ Prepareth her meat in the sommer, and gathereth her foode in haruest. ⁹ Howe long wilt thou sleepe, O sluggarde? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleepe? ¹⁰ Yet a litle sleepe, a litle slumber, a litle folding of the hands to sleepe. ¹¹ Therefore thy pouertie commeth as one that trauaileth by the way, and thy necessitie like an armed man. ¹² The vnthriftie man and the wicked man walketh with a froward mouth. ¹³ He maketh a signe with his eyes: he signifieth with his feete: he instructeth with his fingers. ¹⁴ Lewde things are in his heart: he imagineth euill at all times, and raiseth vp contentions. ¹⁵ Therefore shall his destruction come speedily: hee shall be destroyed suddenly without recouerie. ¹⁶ These sixe things doeth the Lord hate: yea, his soule abhorreth seuen: ¹⁷ The hautie eyes, a lying tongue, and the hands that shed innocent blood, ¹⁸ An heart that imagineth wicked enterprises, feete that be swift in running to mischiefe, ¹⁹ A false witnesse that speaketh lyes, and him that rayseth vp contentions among brethren.

¹³ The feare of the Lord is to hate euill as pride, and arrogancie, and the euill way: and a mouth that speaketh lewde things, I doe hate.

²⁰ They that are of a froward heart, are abomination to the Lord: but they that are vpright in their way, are his delite.

¹⁰ The heart knoweth the bitternes of his soule, and the stranger shall not medle with his ioy.

¹⁵ He that iustifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the iust, euen they both are abomination to the Lord.

²⁵ At that time Iesus answered, and saide, I giue thee thankes, O Father, Lord of heauen and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and men of vnderstanding, and hast opened them vnto babes.

¹¹ And he answered, and said vnto them, Because it is giuen vnto you, to know the secretes of the kingdome of heauen, but to the it is not giue.

¹⁵ Then he sayde vnto them, Yee are they, which iustifie your selues before men: but God knoweth your heartes: for that which is highly esteemed among men, is abomination in the sight of God.

²¹ He that hath my commandements, and keepeth them, is he that loueth me: and he that loueth me, shall be loued of my Father: and I will loue him, and wil shewe mine owne selfe to him. ²² Iudas sayd vnto him (not Iscariot) Lord, what is the cause that thou wilt shewe thy selfe vnto vs, and not vnto the world? ²³ Iesus answered, and sayd vnto him, If any man loue me, he will keepe my worde, and my Father will loue him, and we wil come vnto him, and wil dwell with him. ²⁴ He that loueth me not, keepeth not my wordes, and the worde which ye heare, is not mine, but the Fathers which sent me.

¹⁵ Henceforth call I you not seruants: for the seruant knoweth not what his master doeth: but I haue called you friends: for all things that I haue heard of my Father, haue I made knowen to you.

¹⁷ Let him that hath an eare, heare what the Spirite saith vnto the Churches. To him that ouercommeth, will I giue to eate of the Manna that is hid, and will giue him a white stone, and in the stone a newe name written, which no man knoweth sauing he that receiueth it.
