¹³ She seeketh wooll and flaxe, and laboureth cheerefully with her handes.

⁶ Then Abraham made haste into the tent vnto Sarah, and saide, Make ready at once three measures of fine meale: kneade it, and make cakes vpon the hearth. ⁷ And Abraham ranne to the beastes, and tooke a tender and good calfe, and gaue it to the seruant, who hasted to make it ready. ⁸ And he tooke butter and milke, and the calfe, which he had prepared, and set before them, and stoode himselfe by them vnder the tree, and they did eate.

¹⁸ And she said, Drinke sir: and she hasted, and let downe her pitcher vpon her hand and gaue him drinke. ¹⁹ And when she had giuen him drinke, she said, I will drawe water for thy camels also vntill they haue drunken inough. ²⁰ And she powred out her pitcher into the trough speedily; and ranne againe vnto the well to drawe water, and she drewe for all his camels.

⁹ While he talked with them, Rahel also came with her fathers sheepe, for she kept them. ¹⁰ And assoone as Iaakob saw Rahel ye daughter of Laban his mothers brother, and the sheepe of Laban his mothers brother, then came Iaakob neere, and rolled the stone from the welles mouth, and watered ye flocke of Laban his mothers brother.

¹⁶ And the Priest of Midian had seue daughters, which came and drewe water, and filled the troghes, for to water their fathers sheepe.

¹⁶ The Lord also saith, Because the daughters of Zion are hautie, and walke with stretched out neckes, and with wandering eyes, walking and minsing as they goe, and making a tinkeling with their feete, ¹⁷ Therefore shall the Lord make the heades of the daughters of Zion balde, and the Lord shall discouer their secrete partes. ¹⁸ In that day shall the Lord take away the ornament of the slippers, and the calles, and the round tyres, ¹⁹ The sweete balles, and the brasselets, and the bonnets, ²⁰ The tyres of the head, and the sloppes, and the head bandes, and the tablets, and the earings, ²¹ The rings and the mufflers, ²² The costly apparell and the vailes, and the wimples, and the crisping pinnes, ²³ And the glasses and the fine linen, and the hoodes, and the launes. ²⁴ And in steade of sweete sauour, there shall be stinke, and in steade of a girdle, a rent, and in steade of dressing of the heare, baldnesse, and in steade of a stomacher, a girding of sackecloth, and burning in steade of beautie.

⁹ Rise vp, ye women that are at ease: heare my voyce, ye carelesse daughters: hearken to my wordes. ¹⁰ Yee women, that are carelesse, shall be in feare aboue a yeere in dayes: for the vintage shall faile, and the gatherings shall come no more. ¹¹ Yee women, that are at ease, be astonied: feare, O yee carelesse women: put off the clothes: make bare, and girde sackcloth vpon the loynes.

³⁹ Then Peter arose and came with them: and when hee was come, they brought him into the vpper chamber, where all the widowes stoode by him weeping, and shewing the coates and garments, which Dorcas made, while she was with them. ⁴⁰ But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled downe, and prayed, and turned him to the body, and sayd, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes, and when she sawe Peter, sate vp.

¹¹ And that ye studie to be quiet, and to meddle with your owne busines, and to worke with your owne handes, as we commanded you,

¹⁰ For euen when we were with you, this we warned you of, that if there were any, which would not worke, that he should not eate. ¹¹ For we heare, that there are some which walke among you inordinately, and worke not at all, but are busie bodies. ¹² Therefore them that are such, we warne and exhort by our Lord Iesus Christ, that they worke with quietnes, and eate their owne bread.

¹⁰ And well reported of for good woorkes: if shee haue nourished her children, if shee haue lodged the strangers, if shee haue washed the Saintes feete, if shee haue ministred vnto them which were in aduersitie, if shee were continually giuen vnto euery good woorke.

¹⁴ I will therefore that the yonger women marie, and beare children, and gouerne the house, and giue none occasion to the aduersary to speake euill.

⁵ That they be temperate, chaste, keeping at home, good and subiect vnto their husbands, that the word of God be not euill spoken of.
